It ended up being one of the best grocery store sandwiches I've had, and I really appreciated his outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, the positive deli experience was overshadowed at checkout. The cashier and the employee bagging our groceries were rude, and they began speaking negatively about us in Spanish, apparently assuming we wouldn't understand. We do speak Spanish, so we understood the conversation, which made the experience even more uncomfortable and disrespectful. While I truly appreciated the excellent service from the deli employee, the overall customer service throughout the store left a lot to be desired.
