    BBQ Combo Plate

Loved this little hole in the wall Brazilian restaurant. We came here on a Friday evening and were seated quickly. It wasn't too busy. The staff was friendly, attentive and service was quick. They have a variety of Brazilian snacks, drinks and candy/chocolate at the front for purchase as well. We ordered the cheese bread, polenta fries, fish plate, bbq plate. I only took a picture of the bbq plate because I got distracted before the rest of the food arrived lol. All the food was amazing! The steak tasted homemade. It was cooked exactly how I like my steak. The fish was battered just the right amount and perfectly crispy! The bread and veggies were all delicious as well. Our dishes came with sides of veggies, rice and beans. It was plenty of food to share between a toddler and 2 adults! Excellent quality food and great service. Wish we had something like this close to home. Would definitely recommend.

Flavorful food! Came here for a friend's birthday and we chose this spot on the recommendation of a Brazilian colleague. Great neighborhood option with friendly service and pride of ownership. Easy parking. For the most part, the dishes were outstanding. Flavorful, well prepared, and with great ingredients. We loved the classic pichana and sausage. Paired excellently with black beans and the vinegar in chile hot sauce. Yum.

We came here on a Friday at 5:30 and it was just us 4 and another party. The restaurant is not that big and about two large tables had reserved signs. At about 6pm, this place was completely packed and they had live music! Too bad we had somewhere to be. It's one of those places where you order at the register first then seat yourself. I appreciate that their on line menu had photos for every dish. Everything looked delicious. I got the bbq platter plate ($37) shared between 2. Had 2 pieces of chicken, 2 sausages, 3 pieces of sirloin, veggie (zucchini, bell peppers, onions), side of beans, rice, and farofa. This is the larger version of the combo plate for $25. Everything was tasty and flavorful. Except the chicken was on the dry side. I've never had farofa before. You drizzle it on the meat or rice and beans. It has a mild taste, almost no flavor. It's supposed to enhanced but didn't do anything for me. I also got the beef pastel ($6). It was one large pastry. Also got the crème de papaya ($6.50). The dessert was fresh papaya with vanilla ice cream and cassis liqueur. The papaya was not as sweet but refreshing.

I decided to try a different option for Brazilian food instead of going to my usual place. I'm glad I did. I can say their Coxinha is the best I've had in San Diego. Great size, amazing filling. It arrived hot and super fresh. Usually coxinha can be tricky because many times the filling is a bit dry. Not this one :) I also tried their kibe. It was a bit thin and not as flavorful as I expected. Will try other options next time. I'm super happy I gave them a try! :)

Sabor Brazilian Grill offers a taste of Brazilian cuisine without breaking the bank for an AYCE experience. Parking is for free and it's not too difficult to nab a spot to the side of the Grocery Outlet. At the entrance, they have a small section where you can get unique snacks and drinks such as biscoito de polvilho and guarana antarctica. There was only one server assisting the whole restaurant so it could take a while to get your order and food. =YUM= *Margherita Pastel: described to us as similar to an empanada. I enjoyed the exterior pastry as it was thinner and flakier than that of an empanada, while the interior remained gooey and light. Nice appetizer that wouldn't bog you down despite being filled with cheese. *Picanha Plate: 10/10 would recommend. Juicy and perfectly medium rare. The picanha was well seasoned and the plate was well balanced with rice, beans and roasted vegetables. *Grilled Pineapple: traditional and simple dessert. Took a while to prepare so order it early. Hot pineapple with cinnamon and sugar. =MEH= *Beef Pastel: pastry was still tasty but the beef inside was very dry. Needed something to add moisture or bind all the beef bits. Meat wasn't flavorful and could have really benefited from a sauce. *Coxinha: aka chicken croquette. Dense but a bit bland. Wasn't as filled with chicken as I hoped and the cheese was non existent. Preferred the stretch of the margherita pastel. *Pineapple Juice: tasted diluted. Overall if you want that sweet, juicy picanha, Sabor Brazilian Grill definitely delivers. The appetizers were a hit or miss but I still enjoyed trying dishes that weren't commonly found elsewhere. Even if you're not as adventurous, the $17 picanha plate is more than worth stopping by. Waiting for the day they add sauces to make this place 5 stars.

Oh my gosh I hate this place for being far from where we live!! We stumbled here because it's located in front of the car dealership where we got our car. This place made me want to go back and visit Brazil. Of course I had their Brazilian coffee for lunch and bought their ground beans to go LoL. The food is great for my taste. There were only a few customers when we ate lunch on a Monday. Service was good, restroom is outdated but not filthy-looking. I recommend trying this place out

Solid. A few little tables are placed outside on the sidewalk for outdoor dining. On a week night, it was quite empty and only a few customers coming by for takeout orders. We couldn't resist the PÃO DE QUEIJO (Brazilian cheese bread). For $5 it came with five tiny bites, but they were delicious light and cheesy bites (like eating a cheese-it in little pastry form). For my entree, I was feeling stew-y, so I had the Moqueca fish dish. It was two modest sized cod stewed in coconut milk based broth. I almost thought I was eating Thai food. It was tangy and sweet with mild heat. The cod was tender and melted away. Not a lick was left from my plate. I just wished the portions were a bit bigger.

Several months ago I read that Sabor Brazilian Grill was going to migrate south from Encinitas and open a location in Point Loma. The last time I drove past this strip of businesses, the suite looked nowhere near ready for prime time. To my surprise, I found out the restaurant recently opened this month. I have been waiting for another place that serves Brazilian cuisine without splurging at one of the all you can eat buffets. Four tables were stationed outside the front door to accommodate dine-in eating which was what I did. The front page of the menu listed several appetizers and a little over a dozen entrees. On Saturday and Sunday, the kitchen prepares Feijoada which is considered the national dish of Brazil. The back page contained items like burgers, sliders, salads, acai (bowl or smoothie), beverages, and desserts. I started my meal with a Chicken Croquette ($4.50). The Brazilian pastry snack was stuffed with seasoned shredded chicken and shaped like a large teardrop. The filling was very smooth and tasty. My entree was the Combo Plate ($21). It featured grilled picanha (top sirloin cap), chicken breast, and beef sausage served along with white rice, black beans, grilled seasonal vegetables, and farofa which was yuca (or cassava) flour. The sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium-rare as I had asked. None of the meats were over-salted which allowed the flavors from the beans and vegetables to meld nicely. The degree of char on the chicken and sausage was perfect. Every item on the plate was well proportioned. The value across all the entrees was excellent as each one was less than $20 except the Combo Plate and the BBQ Platter for two. When you add the price to the food quality and the service, I gave this new branch of Sabor Brazilian Grill a five star rating.

Jessica was so sweet and attentive to my family of 7! My mom and her we're able to bond on the culture and cuisine and she was really kind and informative and their good karma jar is so sweet. They have authentic cuisine that sings to the heart of Brazil, this place is a secret hidden gem. The music is AUTHETIC, the wall art AUTHENTIC, and the vibration being so close to the beach, The vibes are immaculate, this is a hidden treasure, 10/10 Food, VIBE Presentation of Cuisine And the STAFF- Jessica made it all come together.

Wow wow wow, they literally have the best restaurants in the same commercial complex. I was hoping Euphoria would be open since we can now out door dine but I am glad it wasn't. Sabor Brazilian Grill is a 10/10 restaurant. It's soooo good. My son had the hot dog kids meal with the strawberry and banana shake, my main squeeze ordered their Sunday/Saturday Feijoda which he really liked but liked my Picanha plate better. I asked for medium rare and they brought it out beautifully. My steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The rise wasn't too salty and not wet, cooked perfectly. I am so surprised not more people have come here. I also ordered a glass of the Malbec and it paired well with my meal. Next time I come here, I will order dessert. This is a must go place if you are in the area.

What an awful place! Paid over 17$ for a picanha plate and got two small slivers of what could be over cooked chewy hard to bite leather tasting picanha. How do you over cook this kind of cut of meat???? And no salt, just gross. I had better tasting meat at Denny's. Hungry??? Don't eat here.

Small and neighborhood style restaurant. It's not easy to find a Brazilian restaurant in San Diego. My husband chose this place because it's unique and looking delicious online. I ordered a weekend special dish - a black bean stew with sausage and beef, quite delicious, definitely not a normal dish I regularly eat. My husband burger is nice too. Overall, it's a good place.

Food and catering service were some of our highest priorities to get right during our wedding and Culinary Kitchen was phenomenal every step of the way. Our communication with Ashley and and JP before, during, and after the wedding was exceptional. From the very beginning, Ashley was very responsive and regularly checked in with us, which helped me feel less overwhelmed by all the catering decisions we needed to make. I tend to err on being extremely detail oriented and I asked tons of questions early on. Ashley was so patient and thorough with each email I had sent over even before booking. Before choosing our caterer, we did 3 different wedding caterer tastings and Culinary Kitchen easily was the best of all three (we're still thinking about the gochujang meatballs and the cavatappi pasta with fennel sausage!!). On our wedding day, the food service ran seamlessly and our guests often commented on how good the food was (guests were actually trying to sneak chicken tenders off the kids plates because even the kids meals were so good). Their team also helped us serve our desserts, did our bartending, and rented/placed all of our table settings, all at very reasonable prices as part of the entire catering package. The team also went above and beyond to accommodate all of our guests' special dietary needs while still helping us stay within budget and recommending a cohesive menu. One last thing - we did A LOT of research on different San Diego caterers before our wedding (I think we sent out inquiries to at least 10 other caterers) and Culinary Kitchen's catering packages felt the most "upscale" and comprehensive without leaving us feeling nickel and dimed for every line item. I truly felt like their team was on our side the whole way. THANK YOU Culinary Kitchen for catering our wedding day!! We wish you guys the best of success!

But more than that, was the amazing food menu. I can't even express in words how amazing the appetizers, dinner entrees were. And it wasn't just me. I must have gotten at least 15 or more guests absolutely raving about the food. One guest even said it beat any home cooked or restaurant food she had ever eaten! And that is not an exaggeration! From the very beginning, Sierra made sure all of my clients requests were met and the communication was the outstanding. Billy (chef) doubled up on outstanding with the most amazing, flavorful, unique and tasty appetizer and dinner menu. You can definitely taste the love and effort he puts into his cooking. And last but not least....the staff! Absolutely the best! And served with a smile! In my opinion this is an unbeatable team. Highly recommend them to anyone who would like to have an unforgettable event with the best service and most amazing food. Thank you Four Season! You knocked it out of the park!

Quality imagination presentation --…read more Four Seasons Food Catering is owned by the marvelous duo Billy Burd and Sierra Ridenour-Burd. They make an amazing team. They catered a party for us at the The Thursday Club in Point Loma in March and dazzled everyone. When we were trying to choose a caterer we were attracted to Four Seasons by the imaginative and creative flair of Chef Billy Burd's cuisine and by their very positive reviews. One thing that caught our attention about the reviews was that many of them were fairly long. Apparently reviewers were not satisfied to give 5 stars and a paragraph of praise, they really wanted to testify. They felt that Four Seasons was special and they were motivated to let you know just how special. After experiencing Four Seasons catering service we can understand that sentiment. The culinary experience Four Seasons provided was marvelous. The dishes were imaginative, taste tempting, and a delight to the eye. Guests loved the appetizers that were passed: shrimp wrapped in basil and pancetta, mushrooms with escargot, parmesan crusted artichoke hearts. The stationary display had a choice assortment of cheeses and a selection of cold seafood that included jumbo shrimp, smoked salmon, ahi poke, and a sashimi platter all beautifully presented. Suffice it to say the buffet was equally spectacular. Chef Billy takes pride in the quality of the products he sources. The filet mignon for example was gorgeous. The shrimp served in the seafood display were so tasty that they made you stop and take notice. This was a once in a lifetime kind of party for us so we pulled out the stops when we were choosing items for the menu. It's very much to Billy and Sierra's credit that part of their response was to say that and they would be happy to offer some more budget friendly variations. We appreciated their inclination to work with clients to find good solutions to their needs. We enjoyed meeting with Chef Billy one time early in the planning process, but other than that, all the planning and coordination was handled by Sierra. She is fantastic and a pleasure to work with. She gave us recommendations on the initial approach to the menu, on down to details like the serving schedule, linens, and the table floor plan. We communicated mostly through email which was very productive because her emails, besides being congenial, were always clear and complete. And it was amazing how quickly she would reply, usually the same day. When it came to the final week before the party and it was time to summarize all the various emails and discussions Sierra nailed it, she recapped everything perfectly. The Four Seasons staff were wonderful. During the set up time they operated like clockwork. During the party they could not have been more charming and gracious. This is another major point to Billy and Sierra's credit. It takes care and effort to assemble a team of this quality--a group of individuals who interface harmoniously not only with the guests, but with each other, and with other vendors such as the florist. The whole event flowed thanks to the staff. When you are planning a special event you hope to create a joyful and memorable experience for all your guests. Four Seasons is a caterer with an amazing combination of culinary artistry and service craft. Choose Four Seasons as your caterer and you can't go wrong.
