Our lady server was so personable and always answered our questions with a big smile. We met the owner who was as friendly as his staff! Excellent service is always a plus! The food was well-cooked down to its bananas and arepas! This restaurant is highly recommended and they close at 10 pm most days, so if you're still out and about at a later time, this is definitely a good place to get some delicious food! Overall, the food was OK, the presentation of the fish at another table looked very nice, but the style of food is not really seasoned and so it's a relatively non-gastronomic meal but you leave feeling full. Maybe I expected more because I like Mexican and Thai food, but went into it with an open mind. It was clear that a lot of local Latinas went there, and that is a good sign that it fits the cultural expectation. So if you are Latina and know what to expect it is a good restaurant to try

Everything is super yummy; we ordered the Churrasco and it was cooked to perfection; the Lomo Saltado was sooo yummy that I eat it first and then ate my rice and sweet plantains. The kids meal portions are sooo generous that even an adult can order it and be satisfied; my kids ordered the " Bandeja Paisa" which is rice w/red beans; steak; fried egg; sweet plantains and Fried Pork; the Steak and Fries. We also ordered the "Red Snapper" which I was a little hesitant due to I'm from the Caribbean and I have high standards when it comes to seafood; and the fish fried to perfection; fish was crunchy and well seasoned. Our server was the sweetest and most attentive server we've ever had; making sure we had everything we needed. This restaurant had really nice outdoor seating if you wish to eat outdoors. Another thing is this place is super clean!! The bathrooms are impeccable!! Definitely a great place to enjoy great Colombian food with great ambiance The only thing I regret is not taking pictures of the food; we were all hungry and the food smelled so good we didn't have time. The location was packed and had a good vibe, and we only had to wait five minutes or so for a table. For a drink I got a Jugo de Lulo, a favorite of mine when I travel to Colombia, and it tasted nice, but seemed a little small compared to those I've had in other Colombian places. We ordered empanadas. My first empanada was not freshly cooked and lacked the snap in the masa that comes when it's right out of the fryer. Instead, the masa was rubbery and cool. The other empanadas and my second one were fine, so they'd unloaded an old one on us with our order. Since my wife got the Bandeja Paisa, and I knew I'd end up helping her to finish it off (the plate was typically massive) I ordered from the arepa menu and got an arepa with shrimp. It looked underwhelming on delivery as it was lacking the style and topping shown in the photo. It tasted fine, but wasn't anything special at all. The third member of our party ordered the shrimp and squid in cream, which she enjoyed. Then the staff got annoying when they tried to clear our plates away while we were still eating. We asked them to wait until we were all finished, but two minutes later we had to stop them again. They were literally trying to grab the plate in front of me while I was moving some of my wife's bandeja paisa to it. Finally, we asked for a takeout box, and they were hovering over the table waiting to clear it and actually started as I was loading the takeout box. It was as if they couldn't get us out of there fast enough. After all that, we couldn't get out of there fast enough either. FYI, be advised that tips were included in the bill even for our three-person party. It wasn't mentioned, but it was on the bill when we reviewed it before paying.

I was treated very, very well in helping me choose today's lunch special selection. Everything was outstanding; a nice portion of pork, ribs, yellow, rice, and beans, and as other reviewers stated the empanadas must tried! Plenty of leftover go home. I also had the plantains plus a sugar cane drink with lime that was outstanding.

Mana is a nice space with a huge mural painted on one wall with several tables spread out in the restaurant with a comfortable distance between them. To the right is the counter where you order and pay. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and I would have been happy to dine in had I not been running errands. The food is mostly laid out on a steam table behind the counter. I saw different kinds of chicken, pernil, potato salad, green salad, empenadas and more. I wound up ordering yellow rice with black beans and a baked chicken leg. I also ordered a side of Maduros and a chicken empanada. Here's how I found everything (keeping in mind I took it home to reheat before I ate it): Chicken Empanada Unlike most empanadas I get nowadays, this one seemed to have been fried, with a crispy, yellow outer shell. The crunch was fantastic and I really liked the flavor. The chicken inside was super tasty and I immediately wished I had ordered another of these. Maduros I LOVE a good plantain but they are surprisingly hard to find. I would say if I go to five restaurants with them perhaps only two will have really good ones. Maduros should have a nice chewiness, maybe even a bit of caramelization on the outside with a wonderfully sweet flavor. I am happy to report that Mana has exactly this and it was great! Chicken & Rice with Beans The rice with beans were good and had some veggies mixed in. I've had better and I've had worse, so this falls straight in "B" territory. The chicken was the same - tasty, well cooked, moist but the flavor was average. Flavor-wise this is a good dish (not amazing). That said, the *serving size* was tremendous and there was enough rice for me to have over two meals and for that it deserves high marks! I really enjoyed the food from Mana. Sure it's not the best ever, but it was good and priced reasonably. I'd definitely go again.
