Unfortunately, the tallarin verde and chicken were so salty that no one could eat them. The arroz chaufa tasted old, and the rice was hard. I called the restaurant to see if they could pick up the food and replace it. I was told I would have to bring it back myself. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that, and there was no effort to offer a refund or any other solution for the poor-quality food. For the amount I paid, I expected much better food and customer service. Sadly, they've lost a customer.

I can't really say they were under cooked, but we prefer them cooked a little longer. Fries were tasty and the sauces were really interesting. I can't for the life of me figure out what the yellow sauce was, but the green was definitely a blend of cilantro and maybe avocado? No idea but both were great with the meat and fries. Just be cautioned that they must cut up the chicken right after roasting instead of letting it rest so there is a lot of juice in the pan. Meat was still moist though. Will try again!

It was only after I asked to see the receipt and questioned the total that I discovered they had added extra charges. Every time I've confronted them, they've refunded the money--but only after I caught it myself. The most recent visit was the worst. We were a party of two, yet they automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill without making it clear. Then, on top of that, they asked me to leave the tip in cash, without mentioning that a 20% tip had already been added. That's extremely misleading. As for the food, it's very basic and nothing worth going out of your way for. At this point, after three separate incidents, it's hard to believe these are just mistakes. I strongly recommend everyone ask for an itemized bill and review it carefully before paying. Based on my repeated experiences, I would avoid this business altogether.

Our experience had a few hiccups. I came with my family and mentioned that we'd seen the restaurant trending on social media and were excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, my server didn't enter my order correctly. I ordered the skirt steak with two sides, but only the side order arrived to our table. When I asked about the steak, she said she didn't have it on the order and quickly put it in. When the steak arrived, it came out very quickly. I had ordered it medium, but while the outside looked cooked, the inside was still very rare and cold. It was also very chewy and could have used more seasoning. My father-in-law ordered the chaufa, but it wasn't mixed very well, with most of the sauce sitting at the bottom and most of the rice was white, he didn't even noticed until he ate his way to the bottom and noticed. Another pasta dish we ordered was listed as having fettuccine, and the photo showed fettuccine noodles, but it was served with spaghetti instead. Although we were disappointed with the food and the ordering mistake, the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. I hope this was just an off day, as I'd love to see the food live up to the beautiful atmosphere.
