With high inflation that has been killing us all, I wonder how a business like Sabor Mexican restaurant has been surviving post COVID era. When I came here this morning after volunteering at the annual NAMI Walk at a nearby park, one of our friends suggested this place for a quick bite to eat. When I looked at the menu board upon arrival, I was shocked to find the prices of the items; they are insanely reasonable. This is a "walk-up-to-the-counter-and-order-and-receive-food" type place (sort of like QDoba or Chipotle) without the chain restaurant atmosphere. This place does have some authentic Mexican cuisine feel to it which I like about. The dining area (despite the fact that it's unassuming on the outside) is quite spacious with ample number of tables. I'm pretty sure it satisfies many people who come here to get something real quick during the morning and lunch rush hours. The size of the menu is just right. You can easily find something that you like promptly. I set my eyes on the Mini Veggies burrito. And this was exactly what my stomach would be able to handle with ease (I had a muffin at the volunteer site earlier so I wasn't super hungry so if you come here with a light appetite, then I strongly suggest that you get this. I asked the guy to add guacamole to it.) And this burrito was just perfect in every single way. The portion, the amount of salt they used to cook all the ingredients inside it and the freshness of it, I mean at the price of just $4.45, this burrito is a steal deal. What a shame that I had never dined here until today even though I used to work in this very area (Arapahoe and Potomac.) Since it's only 10 min drive from my home in DTC, I shall come here more often gone forward. Great job, Sabor for keeping the restaurant with affordable prices for us! Finding a restaurant like yours is rarity these days.

I am so impressed with this little place. The chicken taco salad is AMAZING (I dream of this shell), and their ingredients are always fresh... A taco salad unlike no other *chef's kiss* Will definitely be returning. This is a new regular lunch spot.

Went here on my lunch break and thought hey this doesn't look to bad, it indeed wasn't too bad. It was a set of pretty decent sized tacos with good sized portions and great flavor. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked to perfection which was surprising with the amount they make. The salsas were really good on the tacos and tasted perfectly together with the onion and cilantro. The interior is basic and doesn't have too much character but I kinda like it. The service was quick and friendly. They had tons of employees and they were all busy working hard to make delicious food. I think I will stop back in to try the nachos or quesadillas sometime. Ordered for pick-up during lunch. Quick and speedy service. Similar set up as Chipotle but bigger menu variety. They made my steak burrito right there for me to see. In and out in about 10 mins. The burrito included rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and meat of your choice. It was good and fulfilling. I like their rice and refried beans, soft and fluffy. The dine-in is well spaced. They moved a lot of the tables and chairs to walls. Hand sanitizer provided by cashier on the counter.

Great place to eat Mexican food, you can choose to add salsa mild or hot, all the ingredients are fresh I really recommend this place.

Good tacos in DTC if your only options are $5-6 a piece items. Hot sauce is hot, but not painful and the amount of meat given is more than most places around here. Had the chicken, carnitas, and pastor tacos which I was all happy with. Raised their prices a bit compared to the menu on yelp so puts them above some of my other favorite taco joints.

If you are looking for a fast, and inexpensive Mexican restaurant, this is a solid choice. I had the chicken taquitos and they were A-OK. The food is inoffensive, but not nearly as flavorful of some other local favorites. The hot sauce is all bottled, and they do not have a salsa bar, or much in the way of salsa choice. I can be a bit fussy with this style of food, but I did live in NM for a year, and have had some amazing offerings.

Ok so this review is solely based off their Breakfast Burritos! They are absolutely huge! And I'm not talking about their large sized ones, the regular are HUGE. The flavors are explosive and I'm always in and out quickly! My employees always ask for this location when I do a breakfast run for them. A neat trick is getting their green sauce on the side, just ask for a couple and they'll hook you up. read more

It looks like everyone that comes here wants the same thing.. they make delicious and HUGE breakfast burritos. The Mini is plenty big enough for me but the hubby likes the grande size. You can see them making your burrito up and it is FILLED with delicious eggs, potatoes and your meat of choice. My hubby works nearby and when he wants to treat the staff he picks up a dozen of these bad boys and his creds go WAY up. You get your food quickly and it's freshly made. One of these days I should come for lunch. read more

This is my spot for breakfast burritos on the way to work. I work in DTC and drive there from East Centennial through Arapahoe Road so it's just a quick stop. I had been looking for a breakfast burrito place in the area for a while until I spotted this place and gave them a try. Their mini-breakfast burritos are a little less that $3 and are huge and tasty. I can't even finish it all completely. They don't have them ready-made but make them quickly, which I prefer to the "sitting under the warmer" food. Their ingredients have always seemed fresh. The salsas are pretty good. It's not very fancy, trendy, or colorful in there but they serve good, authentic Mexican breakfast. I have never had their lunch/dinner so I can't tell you about that. The staffs there are always welcoming you with a smile too. This place is my pick for breakfast burritos. read more

Fast, friendly service, but less than decent breakfast burritos. Runny eggs, little meat, and bland as old people food. Their green chili leaves much to be desired. The only redeeming aspect was the delicious hot sauce they were kind enough to include with the meal. read more

Yuck. Not sure why so many people like the food. I went for lunch and had the two chicken enchiladas with refried beans and rice. Unbelievably salty and the red sauce had a strange aftertaste. Their burritos are massive. You seem to get more than what you pay for in quantity but not quality. I won't be returning here. The staff is quite friendly, though and the place is very clean. read more

I work in the area and go to Sabor sometimes twice a week. The food is fresh and the marinated pork is to die for! I get a tostado every visit, and the friendly staff starts making it for me before I even walk in the door. It is a great value and they use fresh, high quality ingredients. I pass by this place all the time but have never eaten here. The place is fast-food style. You order the food you want and pay. They are fast and you get a lot of food, but the food isn't that great. I came here on a Sunday morning with some pretty high expectations. I know a lot of people from work who have gotten burritos from here before and they always look SO good, I was a little bit disappointed in the flavor of this. I felt like it had too much rice, next time I will opt for no rice. I think the biggest disappointment for me about this restaurant is the atmosphere, there were absolutely NO pictures on the stark white walls, it seemed very sterile and not very welcoming. read more

Came upon this when I asked google where to grab lunch. Out of all the options this seemed more familiar and casual friendly so I drove two minutes from my location to this place, lots of parking, the service was fast and friendly but the pastor burrito was not "all that". while it was a huge burrito and very filling it left quiet a bit to be desired in terms of taste and seasoning. The food had a weird oily after-taste which made it impossible to finish the food and made me want to brush my teeth right after eating. Who knows, I may have come on the cooks bad day... I will try this again and perhaps try something else this time. read more

The real deal Mexican food place. We relocated out here from CA and finally found something close to our house that we love. Hard to find burritos that aren't smothered (gross!). If you are looking for good Mexican food South of Denver this is it. We ordered carnitas burritos with beans, cilantro, onions, and hot salsa. You can't go wrong. The Horchata water is made in house and perfect. You have to ask for it since it's not in the soda fountain area. We highly recommend this place for "authentic" food. read more

They have a different definition of mini than I do. My co-workers and I had ordered the mini breakfast burritos and when we received them we were amazed. The burritos were the size or normal size burritos at other places. Flavor-wise the burritos were good but nothing stood out to much other than the size. The salsa verde had good flavor but the hot salsa was just hot; not much flavor. I would definitely order from here again. It's a good value for the price. read more

What a great little breakfast spot! Came here around 8am for some mini burritos and these are more regular-sized burritos than "mini." The line moves fast, so order fast! I love the chorizo breakfast burrito with their red salsa. It's so hot it made me pant. So delicious. Definitely going to make more time so I can sit in the restaurant and enjoy my burrito there. Some Coworkers and I just ate here for lunch and I was quite impressed. I got a Combination platter which comes with rice, beans, your choice of meat, guac, sour cream, lettuce, and salsas. It takes up an entire take out box and was only like 6.50. The food was good... not great... but good, but it is a place i will visit again soon since its so cheap and pretty dang good! Stumbled on this place on Yelp on a hungry Saturday morning. The breakfast burritos are large and very filling, well worth the money. Next time I would skip out on the refried beans as they were just filler and had nothing special to them. The line moves quick too. read more

Came in on Sunday for late breakfast burrito. Got here about 10:45am. It was bigger inside than I expected and clean. Not busy at all. I walked up to the counter right and ordered the Big Breakfast Burrito. They make it right in front of you like Petes or Chipotle. It was fast I, I got my order to go and was in/out in less than 5 mins. The burrito was really big and really good. The green chili was not spicy at all, so that was a little disappointing, it didn't bad the flavor I was hoping for, but it was still good. Service was really good and everyone was friendly. I've been coming here for awhile, always had good portions.. the last several times I've been here the portions have been smaller, I always get the chicken nachos.. They put a half of a scoop of chicken,hardly any cheese, one tablespoon of Guacamole and sour cream. I asked for a little more, I've always paid around $9.00 with a drink, this time it was $13.00!!!! For what extra sour cream.... I'm very disappointed in the portions. read more

Colorado just got a heck of a lot better in my mind, now that I know of a great taco shop. My husband and I have been looking for a Southern California type taco shop here in Parker for months now and happened upon this place today. We LOVED it! Very much like the taco shops back home and dare I say even better in some areas. The hours are not the best (they are not open for dinner Sa-Th and they are not open at all on Sundays...boo) but I'll probably be there every Friday for dinner or Saturday for lunch from now on. read more

I love this place for both breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast burritos are the best I've personally had. The "Big" burrito is literally a Chipolte sized breakfast burrito. If you are going to skip lunch that would be a good option. Their red sauce (not chille) is addicting. I think I could put it on everything. They should bottle that ish and I would! Not a fan of the green, tomatillo, but not the worst. Their fajita plate is delicious and huge. They give you like 6 tortillas, which is where majority of places skimp on that menu item. Also their chips and queso is bomb. I HAVE had a fajita plate that wasn't very hot, but it happens. Also, the guy who is behind the counter is way more friendly than the woman, but I don't even care. She can be as mean as she wants as long as I get dat burrito. read more

Disappointed that they didn't have green chile for their breakfast burritos. The menu online say green chile but when I got there they only had red chile. What a bummer! I really like green chile more than red chile- personal preference. I liked the thin tortillas and how they stuffed the burritos with eggs potatoes and choice of meat. The horchata was pretty delicious too. I'll have to try other stuff on their menu.. read more

I have been searching for a tasty breakfast burrito spot near Centennial. We found this place through Google so we came to give it a shot. I ordered the mini breakfast burrito with bacon and added guacamole. The burrito was cheap for the amount of food that you get! As far as satisfaction- the burrito was fair but I wish there was more green chile in it. If I hadn't ordered the guacamole it would've been a pretty dry burrito. read more

We waited an unreasonable amount of time for almost everything, and the staff seemed completely inattentive and disorganized the entire visit. It felt like customers were more of an inconvenience than welcomed guests. Trying to get simple things like drinks (we never got to order refills), check-ins, or updates on food took way too long, and communication from the staff was poor throughout the experience. Even when issues were brought up, there was urgency and concern but then forgotten the moment they walked away from the table. What made the experience even worse was that by the end of the meal, the service had become so bad that we were literally trying to pay just so we could leave, and even the manager could not seem to bring themselves to come process the payment in a timely manner. We sat there waiting just to give them our money and leave. Finally a different manager told us we can just leave no need to pay. Unfortunately, the bad service completely overshadowed the meal and made the overall experience frustrating enough that we would not return. This was our second time giving them a chance to make it up bc the first time wasnt any better :(

The best part, the nachos with cochinita pibil were flavorful, filling, and cheesy. I was the most happy with the nachos choice for HH so if you're looking for a good happy hour deal come for the nachos.

But some restaurants want to stay humble as they want to stay away from the spotlight so I get it. In a way, this is my neighborhood sushi restaurant that I can count on. I don't want them to be more than what they are now to be frank. Good and efficient service. They always treat me well with respect and regard. Small and yet clean tidy ambience is always appreciated. I always do takeouts; I don't think I have never dined here to be frank. What happened to Sabor?!?! I used to love love love coming in, sitting down, enjoying the salsa bar and amazing food! This location is not anywhere near what it used to be. Are these locations owned by the same people or are they franchises now? While the food continues to be A-MAZING....gosh....so so so yummy and good! There is no salsa bar AND you have to pay for each little, very little, cup of salsa past 1 complimentary one. Which....makes no sense because at the location off Alameda you have unlimited salsa bar and yet this one...no salsa bar (which I could understand if it was a hygiene issue/concern)....but then having to pay for salsa on top of it is frustrating! One of the selling points at least to me with Sabor is the variety of salsa and how yummy each one is depending on what you ordered. Also, you do not get a small bag of tortilla chips with your meal anymore....at least at this location. Again, this is why I am wondering if these are franchises because this location is run so different than the one off of Alameda. I was so excited to be up in the area visiting and couldn't wait to get me some Sabor and this particular visit was disappointing when it came to the customer service (the woman at the register clearly did not want to be there) to the typical availability of condiments and chips. Will not be coming back to this location but will definitely go visit the one off of Alameda the next time I am up here in the area. read more

Rating this a 2 star which in Yelp means "Meh. I've experienced better." Came here for a take out order for my co-workers and I for the mini breakfast burritos. Apparently since I wasn't a "regular" at this establishment, the cashier was quite rude, this is where I've had better experiences from other places. Anyways, I got about 6 mini burritos (note if you have a potato or egg allergy, they mix the potato and egg together; if you ask for no potato they are very UNACCOMMODATING). The food quality in the burritos were not that good either. We got chorizo and bacon, there wasn't much meat in them but apparently everyone got a ton of potatoes, even the one that wasn't suppose to get potato...awesome... Next issue: during check out, everyone before me was asked if they wanted salsa, etc. When I got to the check out, the woman threw all the burritos in a bag, put it on the counter and then looked at the person behind me and then asked them if they wanted salsa. I was like, what is this? Then I asked if I can have 5 containers of salsa, the woman gave me a look and threw them in the bag. Sorry I'm not a "regular" here but from this experience my co-workers and I will not be giving our business to this place ever again or nor recommending this place. read more

Great breakfast burrito at a really good price! This small one will hold you well into lunch and the quality of the food is really good. They also offer it smothered in green chili which is good if you are eating in. I've eaten here several times and the staff is great. They are very friendly and looking to provide a good dining experience. Not too fancy, but hey, I go for the food and service. Also, the lunch torta with chicken is something different than most fast mexican places. Fresh grilled breast with guacamole, lettuce on a nice fresh roll. Great place for quick and fresh Tex-Mex like eats. Not a true authentic Mexican place, but at the same time they don't try to convince you of that especially being located next to a Target in a mini-mall. Quesadillas are the best. I made a habit out of the chicken one. Great black beans, guac, and sour cream come with it plus chips. Salsa bar is amazing with a wide variety of styles and hotness. read more
