Came back to try the pozole because I was craving a good one, and I did not want to drive all the way to Denver for my more authentic spot, but like I knew they would- they absolutely nailed it! this was a very delicious!! I definitely wanna come back and have it again! One of the managers (it seems like) always comes by and asks how we're doing, which is awesome! That's on top of our server. Also checking in on us! We always love the music and it's so authentic overall!

So I have a confession. I have ended up going here twice on accident. I literally thought it was another restaurant when I drove up and saw it was still Mexican, we went in for dinner. The second time we went, we legitimately thought we were going to a place thats actually down the road. I swear, this is what happens when you move across the country and only go places via Waze or memory. I can tell you what business is at the corner of Orleans and Superior in Chicago but can't tell you the name of the street at the end of our neighborhood. Anyway, having grown up in a family that made tostada's practically once a week and tamales on the regular, I know my Mexican food. Now I will say this place is a little more TexMex than I generally prefer but they do it well. The first time we went I ordered a burrito and it showed up covered in green chili which I definitely was not expecting but it ended up being pretty good. I would just ask for the green chili on the side if you're like me expecting a burrito with a tortilla on the outside to show up. The next time we went we got some fajitas and my husband and I both were very pleased with the flavor and the portion. I was chatting with the server and he's from the same state in Mexico as my family so it was nice to know he's familiar with the style cooking I'm used to. He recommended the fajitas and they didn't disappoint. Give them a try and see why they're always busy. (or go between lunch and dinner like we did last time) and get fast and excellent service!

Loved our first time experience here! Great atmosphere, looks like they may have live music here. Our service was great, server was quick and checked in on us the perfect amount. The food was also great to top it all off. I would try something else next time, but Fajitas were wonderful!

New to the Parker area so exploring for our New Mexican food spot and this might be it! Food 10/10 - best queso I've found so far from a Mexican spot in Parker. Birria Tacos were cooked just perfect and loaded with meat! Service 10/10 - our server was so nice and literally knew everyone who walked through the door and greeted them with a hug! Food came out fast and server was attentive. Ambiance 10/10 - the restaurant is located just off Parker road. Lots of parking and fabulous murals on all the walls. Great music that is an acceptable level so you can still have a conversation. We will be back!

Extremely busy Mexican restaurant happy hour till 6 PM. Because it's so busy the waiter does not really have a lot of time to come over and once the bill comes it takes very long to do the transaction. I got a burrito and it was very good with rice beans, guacamole, and sour cream. Very upbeat, ambience nicely decorated decor

We believe it used to be a jazz wine bar so you will see lots of that decor still around. But it works. There is a stage there probably for that reason. They should use it and put mariachi or bands there at some times. The service is friendly, fast, and kind. The waiter was awesome. The food portions were great. The plate was overwhelming in a great way. We wished it came out a little hotter. The temperature was in the middle of cold and warm. Their service was fast.

Very yummy lunch. Parking was in a smaller lot and there is an outside patio for warmer days. Walked in and seated immediately. I mentioned how I was so cold from being outside and the host was so kind and seated me away from the door. I didn't even ask for that but he did that and I was cozy. I ordered Horchata and was it was brought to me with fresh and crisp chips and a nice spicy salsa. The lunch menus was not expensive at all. I had the carnitas plate and also ordered was the enchiladas plate. That Lucy plate was HUGE! It was the size of a medium pizza and the food delivered to the table quickly . It was DELICIOUS! It wasn't too busy around 1pm and the check was reasonable too. It was only $39 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. I went to McDonald's and it cost me $36. The service here was great and I suggest skipping the brown bag thru a window meal and come here.

Well Valentine Dinner was truly special tonight at Las Potrancas. The place was packed the service was over the top. Our waiter Louis provided us with some delicious choices for dinner. We selected Steak and Chicken Fajitas, Margaritas, and for dessert we had Sopaipillas. The dinner was so delicious, the atmosphere is so perfect. With mariachi music playing in the background, all the guests with big smiles in their faces and General Manager Fernando Milan overseeing the Staff and going from table to table ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves and had everything they wanted. As I said the Service is Great and the Food and Beverage are absolutely delicious, looking for authentic Mexican Food and Beverage then make Las Potrancas your next stop.

Mendo was perfect. Shrimp salad was good. Enchiladas was bad. Will be back. Just won't order the enchiladas.

Las Potrancas was part of the Agave Challenge for Denver in June 2025. They had two drinks that were part of the challenge and I opted for the Mariachi. It had just the right mix of sweet, sour, and spicy. We only had drinks but many people were ordering the fajitas as the smoke wafted around the room. Murals adorn the walls--many of which are famous blues artists such as Billy Holiday and BB King--which are left over from when the location was known as The Blue Note. They were very busy. Everyone in Parker wanted to eat here on a Saturday, so that is telling! Our server still checked in on us despite the abundance of people.

Best Mexican food in Parker: Coldest beer, best carnitas (especially in the molcajete), quick and friendly staff, and outstanding food.

The food tasted delicious . Service was slow even with small amount of diners. The place was too loud. The servers were taking care of sun lovers in the patio, probably because they were ordering drinks rather than food. It's easier and bigger in tips. The inside ambiance was loud with hardly anybody sitting inside. The price point was high for nothing spectacular in the quality of uniqueness of food.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

The menu offers a variety of items and what we ordered was delizioso, I really enjoyed the Artichoke and Hummus starter which gave all at our table a taste of the unique way it was prepared. Very good and reminded me alot of the prep when we visited Italy. The Seabass was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Scallops on a bed of Risotto was amazing. FOOD Overall good food, if a little odd. The baked gnocchi and cherry tomatoes in a pesto sauce turned out to be a lot soupier than I expected. My son's pork was well-received. The house-specialty flatbread we had for the table was good. Desserts are served in, effectively, shot glasses. I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them. I had a dirty knife (promptly replaced with a full utensil kit). ATMOSPHERE The place is just plain noisy. At a booth for four, we had problems with conversation, and in hearing the waiter. Part of this is because they have about a half-dozen too many tables squeezed into the main dining area, among other things guaranteeing you'll brush or bump into chairs on your way to your table, even on the perimeter. One the one hand, it's a good sign that they're doing good business in pulling in a lot of customers; on the other hand, it contributes to making it not a good place for an intimate date. NET-NET We've eaten here before, with similar noise and crowd issues (the holidays are especially challenging). I wouldn't object to be invited by someone to dine here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make reservations here myself.
