    Taco Tuesday 3 for 8
    Richard G.

First time here and Trying Taco Tuesday. 3 tacos and a drink for 8.00 . Got the chicken, pastor and carnitas tacos. All very good. Salsa bar with cucumbers and radishes and lots of salsa. Got a house marg 13.00 , not work it. Will be back to try other eats.

It was overall pretty good, could have room for more intense flavor though. It did the job, however.

Al pastor, barbacoa, carne asada street tacos

We went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy, but we were able to get a shaded spot outside on their patio. We shared 3 quesabirrias tacos and 3 street tacos - carne asada, al pastor, and barbacoa. The quesabirrias tacos were definitely the start of the meal, they were so so good! As for the street tacos, we felt the carne asada and the al pastor were a little dry and did need some of the salsa from the salsa bar (which was a nice perk), and I will admit I was pretty disappointed there was no pineapple on the al pastor; the barbacoa was the best of the three. The price for all of this was around $26 with a tip which was extremely reasonable! We would definitely go back, but likely both get quesabirrias tacos.

Great find on yelp! Excellent tacos and pretty reasonable prices. Kids scarfed down their quesadillas as well.

First time & definitely won't be the last! Mexican egg roll? Oh yeah! Street tacos? Absolutely! Everything was served hot & full of flavor! Spices that make your taste buds craving for more! Service was fast & it was nice enough to dine on the patio. You can thank me later

    Birria taco

The food was fantastic and the birrara tacos are some of the best in the city. The birrara egg rolls were out of this world. Tacos were on point. Service was quick and on point. You do not have to wait long on food or drink. Staff cranks out deliciousness. The ambiance is small taco shop. Do not miss out on this taco shop. One of the best in Denver.

Was craving some birria and quick answer to satisfy that was Venalonzo's. We got the 10" Birria Pizza and Birria Egg Rolls. We placed the order online (via Toast), got a text confirmation it was ready for pick up, and went straight to the staff at the counter got our food. And even though this was a to-go order, food was still so fresh, egg rolls still crispy and cheese was still gooey. They also have updated their space since I was last there. The chalkboard menu now has beautiful art. And above the counter is four TV monitors with the menu and food related videos.

Great traditional Mexican in Centennial CO. They have probably the best authentic Mexican food in the area. Pretty much everything on the menu is great. I'm partial to the Enchiladas, Chile Relleno, Taquitos with consumè, and the chilaquiles. If you ask for it, they'll bring the heat unlike many places out here. The service is always fantastic. Usually Monica takes care of me when I come in during the week and she's always cool to chat with and takes care of my order. The service as a whole is really good here.

Place was pretty small and busy on the inside, but service was quick and employees were nice. They also had a station with salsa, limes, peppers, etc. that was self-serve and was a huge perk. I had heard phenomenal things about their birria, so decided to get the birria pizza (so really just a quesabirria in a pizza box lol). The birria was tender and the consommé was the perfect consistency and flavor. I also thoroughly enjoyed the salsas that it came with, and they added a nice balance to the richness of the birria, along with the radishes and lime. I would definitely recommend ordering birria and dining in, mainly for the toppings and salsa/freshness of the birria!

I cannot wait to come back to Venalonzo's. The flavor, the food, and the options are not lacking at this spot. We heard that they won the best taco challenge last year and were in the area to visit family. I'm so glad that we made the drive to have their birria ramen and tacos. My goodness, this has to be one of the best, if not the best, birria consume in Colorado. We had a few family members with us so we opted for the birria pizza and were pleasantly surprised with the flavor and the taste. Not pictured, we also had horchata which was also great. The service was fast and there were options to sit inside and outside. Overall, I would definitely drive out of my way to eat here again.

Guac - made with parsley and not cilantro? Herby and missed the mark. 0/10

I decided to try Venalonzos after hearing so many people rave about their birria tacos and even the birria pizza. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. The food wasn't terrible, but it didn't live up to the hype.. just average at best. The guacamole was a major disappointment; it had an oddly herbaceous, earthy flavor that tasted more like parsley than cilantro, and I could barely recognize it as guac. The marinated onions had an overpowering oregano/Italian spice note that clashed completely with the Mexican flavors. It honestly felt like two different cuisines colliding in one dish. Overall, I'd give it an average rating. With so many other solid Mexican food options around, this isn't a place I'd go back to.

Everything is delicious here! They have fantastic tacos and a great salsa bar. Really cute location and great service. I've also had the pleasure of sampling many of their items at a couple events they've catered and every single bite is bliss.

Great little taco restaurant in Centennial. Menu features burritos and tacos. Birria taco was very good. Also enjoyed the carnitas street tacos. The burrito was decent but could have used some more ingredients. Optional bottled sodas or fountain drinks. Some inside and outside dining but also ordered to go. Great staff. Definitely would return over chain options. They do have breakfast items.

Chimichanga, with the right amount of vegetables!

The steak burrito was very good and flavorful and a decent size. Wasn't the biggest fan of the green chili smothered atop of the burrito; however, it was alright. It was a bit too sweet and tangy for my preference. The al pastor sope was very tasty, although they missed the pineapple i requested. I'd give the sope 5 stars, flautas 3.5 stars, & had I gotten a handheld burrito instead of a smothered one, I'd easily give it a 5 as well. my lunch date's al pastor burrito was good sized but was luke-warm and missing the pineapple he requested. he also ordered it with a green chili smother, which he didn't care for. The chili tasted sour, & he couldn't really determine the flavor (maybe lots of lime?), but it overpowered the flavor of the whole burrito. he well go back and try it again - definitely without their green chili. he also had a chili relleno which was very flavorful and average in size. the location is great with plenty of parking. the restaurant was fairly quiet, despite the time of day and number of patrons there. really nice staff. service felt slow, but we were famished, so that could be why. prices are rather palatable. I'd certainly return here again.

I got the a plate of chips and guacamole and it was really good. The chips were house made, light and crunchy and the guacamole was delicious. I also got a huranches (I think that's how it's spelled) with carnitas and it was a delicious large portion. Let not forget the ginormous mango margarita. Wow that was one heck of a drink. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

I ordered the taco bowl which came in a traditional taco shell bowl that was crisp and crunchy, but the bowl was about 75% lettuce and little to no meat and or other toppings except for some mushy bean paste that was mostly used to glue the bowl to the plate. This was covered with a green chile sauce (very mild), so most of the chimichanga was not crispy when I ate it (got it to go back to work). It was a decent size, and had a good amount of carnitas in it. I'd say it was good, but the carnitas were a little bland for my taste, as was the green chile sauce. There wasn't enough sour cream or guac in my opinion for the size of the chimichanga. I might try to order this again with another meat - probably ground beef, though I'd ask for extra sour cream and guac. I also ordered a side of crispy chile rellenos. That looked good, but was also just good - even when mixed with the green chile sauce. It had plenty of lettuce, tomato, etc., but didn't come with sour cream or guac. I won't order this again. I used Tapatio on both items and it helped - but didn't really change my impression of the meal.

The Doritos nachos are another favorite. I know how that sounds, but trust me. Order them. The chips and queso, pastor tacos, and asada tacos are all solid too.
