Was in the area for business and wandered in here for lunch. They started with atypical chips and salsa, it was chips and bean dip. The chips were excel and the dip was tasty. I got the Bistec Torta and it came with fried potatoes. The potatoes were good, but the torta was excellent. The bread was soft and the meat/cheese combo on the sandwich was wonderful. These have to be the best tortillas in SA. The ham & egg tacos were very good. The migas plate was wonderful. The fruit cup contained fresh, sweet cantaloupe, pineapple, blue berries and a few strawberry slices. Coffee was hot with a "just made" taste. Overall, good food but pricey. Coffee is $4.50 per cup. I've visited this place a few times and every visit has been good! From the food to the service! We held my grandmothers birthday party here and our waitress was great. We were required to make a refundable deposit of $200 in order to book the room, which was not a problem. We did order the parillada which in my opinion was not the best especially given the price point. Meats were lacking flavor and were almost cold. My recent visit was great though! Enchiladas poblanas were very creamy! The chips they give you are excellent, i just wish they also gave you salsa. Service is the determination of this review. Came on a Saturday night, yes we understood it was busy but for 2 people who ordered 2 tacos each waited 35 min never got our margaritas. The menu has all manner of breakfast items such as tacos, migas, and chilaquiles. What I call lunch and dinner listed tacos, chicken dishes such as mole, bistec, mini tacos, parrilla of several kinds. There were no enchiladas on the menu. I had the mole (almost 3 chicken breasts) and the husband had the bistec mini tacos. Both were delicious. Tea was $3.25, borderline high to me. The flour and corn tortillas are made in-house. I had corn. The husband's plate did not come with tortillas. Our server was a bit overwhelmed and did not come by too often. They appeared to have four servers for the ton of people that were in the restaurant. You can sit at the bar and eat. The bar is a pretty area with TV. Go there. read more

We always seen this place driving by on the freeway, so we had to take our car in for service nearby uhg.... (whole other review needed there) and decided to walk over and grab some food. We walk in and stand at the front to be seated... probably stood there 3-4 minutes with a lot of the waitresses just looking at us and walking by. We were then seated, the inside is nice and clean and so are the restrooms. We ordered our drinks and they came out pretty quickly my wife ordered the Cafe de Ollo which was so good and tasty! Then our food arrived about 15 minutes later I got the Migas Diablos and it was great! The chips still had some crunch and the spice level made me cough a few times but it was delicious! The beans and potatoes were both flavorful and cooked to perfection!. My wife ordered the cheese enchiladas and he sauce was to die for! Did not taste like the normal sauce from a can but straight up home made goodness!! Only real complaint was the salsa containers... they were pretty gross!
