This was our first time trying this hidden gem and it certainly did not disappoint! Generous portions and everything was seasoned well! Everything we got was absolutely delicious, we will certainly be back!

Neighborhood spot that we took for granted for way too long! Doesn't blow you away but a solid choice with tons of delicious looking options and conveniently located at the corner of Tezel & Guilbeau on the NW side of town. It's a cute little spot with in store dining and a drive-thru. Their menu is pretty big with a few surprises and many classics than you can't resist, like my smothered burrito the "Jalisco Burrito", served with rice and beans. THE GOOD: My Burrito - Look at that thing, huge! But it was also very tasty. The red sauce was on point and offered the perfect pop of delicious Mexican flavors to every bite. I added a little of each of their houses salsas on top for extra punch, which is what I love! Take a look at the photo showing what's inside! The fresh avocado slices, layered on top of the mixture of cheeses, meats and more...YUM! The beef was good, not great. Might go with shrimp next time. THE BAD: The Milanesa my wife tried, which I had a few bites of, was way too thin and dry for me. This super thin style only works on a Torta since the toppings add the necessary moisture. At $10, this was not the best. This is my second time and was better than the first. Kids didn't like what they tried the last time but didn't eat this time. Pretty sure our next visit will be the charm!

I had a mean craving for some carne guisada today so my husband and I stopped in here for lunch. It's a small place with a few tables. I got the guisada plate and my husband got the barbacoa lunch plate. The portions were huge! We really liked the rice, beans, and barbacoa.

Barboca plate with eggs. Migas plate both breakfast plates.

Once you look past the tiny parking lot and long lines. You're greeted with friendly workers, keep track of your ticket to hand to the person at the window. Their large lemonades best in town! Hands down it's sweet with just the right tang. Their migas huge serving perfect for 2 people! And their barbacoa plate is huge! Last me 2 days their food is always perfect and they never get my order wrong. If you have time go in and sit down it's a little tight so preferably no parties bigger than 6 please. :)

Beans r amazing and the Ranchero sauce in a tad spicy. Yum

My fav place next to the house. The Barbacoa is served everyday and the corn tortilla are the best. Look like flour in the pics but they are done perfect and not too much lard that would make them too dense. The pork leg tacos are a hidden jem. Chopped and in a tase sauce that's very tasty and not a spicy. The carne asada and al pastor are much better than the fajita FYI. The reason I am giving all five stars is that this place is complete. Both tortillas are done re-evaluate welll. I mentioned the corn earlier but the flour is not too doughy and thick. The avacado salsa is my favorite by far. The breakfast tacos are plump and cheap. The bfast plates are great as well. This place is to tiny but even in a Sat mid-morn when it should take forever they pump up the volume and get you out faster than most places with accuracy.

    Nothing left!!

Great food, good service and affordable prices!! The breakfast potatoes tacos with ranchero sauce are so good, but if you add sausage will be way more than delicious! The picture says it all!!!

The place is small, so if you are in a pinch, use the drive thru. I tried three tacos and all of it cost less than ten bucks. Of the tacos I tried, the breakfast one was the most flavorful. The barbacoa wasn't bad, but a little greasy and the pastor was just above average. I am giving them four stars for the amount of food and the overall flavor being above average. Definitely not a bad place to try.

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

This place hits the mark on everything when it comes to breakfast…read more We had the standard huevos rancheros and the huevos benitos. Both were solid, especially the huevos benitos. I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

I didn't need extra fat from avocado after the corn cakes since it doesn't add much flavor to the dish. The corn cakes are good and I will order again but not as good as some other cornbread. It came with 2 cakes. One was undercooked and one has a crispy crust. The undercooked one was my favorite. It is more moist with soft in the middle. Tuna Al Pastor has a kick but nothing special. Tres Leches was beautiful. 4/5. I like the fresh fruits to cut down the sweetness. The cake was a bit in the dense side. The icing on top was thick. I wish it was a fluffy whip cream to cut down from all the sweetness. Overall it's still a better tres leches than other places in the area.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.
