Hubby had the Chochinita Pibil...yucatan slow-roasted pork with all the fixings (look at the menu for details) and accompanied by their freshly made, banana leaf wrapped corn tortillas. I had the Peruvian Street Chicken, stacked high on the plate with, among other things, olive tapenade and the most delicious charred lightly smashed potatoes. The meat mix I chose was a good choice as the meat was juicy and the portion generous but I was a bit bummed I only had two thin slices of sweet plantains in my arepa. Ordering a combo is definitely your best bet to get the most for your money here. I was trying to keep my lunch small (I'll be having a big hibachi dinner tonight and don't want to be too full for that) but I didn't make the right choices at Bululu Tropical today.
