I was hoping I'd find what I love in Miami and it's the Papas Rellenas aka (Fried Stuffed Potatoes). It's a Cuban dish but they are so doggone good. They have this savory and flavorful seasoned ground meat stuffed inside a ball of mashed potatoes and when I tell you they are the bomb, believe me lol. Needlessly to say, they are Honduran and do not cook Cuban dishes lol. However, I'm planning to come back and check out their dishes for either lunch or dinner. It was busy at lunchtime, but it gave us time to reflect on the hard work that led to two of my daughters matching in great residency programs. Two years ago, we also celebrated another amazing match day with a friend who flew in from San Francisco to help our family celebrate. I had the San Pedro Maduro. The complimentary chips were great and the salsa was more flavorful than most Tex Mex restaurants. I had the three enchilada dinner-cheese, chicken, and steak.
