I want to give Sac Town Electric a high FIVE for its service installing a Tesla EV charger in my garage. Sac Town is a Tesla certified installer and was one of the installers recommended by Tesla. I contacted them through the link on Tesla site and was expecting a high quote based on the estimates I received on Yelp a few weeks ago. It turned out they have a very reasonable price and they give me an instant rebate from SMUD. I especially want to thank Nina for her patience and understanding in the whole communication process. I changed my mind back and forth multiple times as it was a learning process for me on the charging system (for example, wall connector vs 240v outlet). Their technicians are awesome too. I called Vadym the owner of Sac Town Electric on a Friday afternoon because we were required by SMUD to replace a clip. He was very responsive and helpful. I sent him a picture of what we needed to replace and he said it was doable and could be done that day pending if he is able to get SMUD to come out and turn off the electricity. He coordinated SMUD to meet him at our house, bought the part and arrived at our place. The price he quoted was very reasonable compared to other places I called. The SMUD tech was able to fix the problem and Vadym said guess you didn't need me. He did not charge me anything and was so great about the whole situation. Will I call him again? River Bluff Apartments was requested by the insurance company we needed to get upgraded outside 9 electrical panels replaced. Shout out to Vadym at Sac town electrical. He was quick to respond to our inquiry and quote. Reasonably priced, and able to come out same day. We needed a new timer switch as our old one went out and we could not turn off the light connected to it. He came and assessed the switch and the electrical work done prior. He explained that the quality of work was, as we expected the "lazy and quick way", He went above and beyond to do the job right and fixed the lines and secured them properly, updated the old switch housing and even custom fit/ cut the switch cover to fit the awkward placement of the switch.
