Two parts went missing that were in the front trunk: the tire repair compressor kit that was screwed down and the dual level charger. Upon receiving my truck, I asked the driver to add a note to the BOL (Bill of Lading) that the parts were missing. He said he did not know how, and asked me to sign. I refused. He called someone named Sam. Sam said he was busy eating lunch and that I should sign and he would update it later. I refused. They eventually updated the BOL stating the missing parts. However, upon calling Safe Auto Transport, they would do nothing about this. If you use Safe Auto Transport to move your vehicle, don't leave anything inside it, even if it is attached to the vehicle!

I spoke to Sam who said he preferred using text to communicate. He sent me a quote to ship a car for. Ohio to California via text. He said the car would be picked up May 11 or 12 and would be delivered a week later. May 18 or 19. He wanted a deposit via Zelle and sent me the email to use. I sent the deposit and he confirmed receipt. i never got any documents or order number from Sam. The car was picked up on May 12 so I expected it on the 19th. On Monday the 18th I sent Sam a text and asked for a status update, he said he would check and get back to me. He never did. The following day I sent another text and got no response. I finally called the office and spoke to Max who needed the order number, which I didn't have. He was able to find the order and said he would check and let me know. I told him I was available Wednesday before noon and Thursday after 2pm. He said "we usually tell you when we deliver" but that he would see what he could do and get to me. He never did. I sent Sam a text and asked for an update. He said he also spoke to Max and didn't know why Max has not responded. On Wednesday about 3pm, Max called and said the car would be delivered Thursday between 8 and noon. I reminded him of our conversation the day before about my availability. He said they would deliver the car on Friday instead. That worked for me. On Thursday afternoon Max called and said the car would be delivered between 8 and 11 on Friday, perfect. At 11 on Friday, Igor called and said he was 40 minutes away but stuck in traffic. He finally arrived at 1230. The car looked to be in good condition with some tiny rock chips on the hood. Max had sent me a different email for payment than Sam used for the deposit. I sent payment using that email but it was not registeredbsonthenpayment would not go through . Igor would not leave until payment had been received. I sent Max a text and he was unsure what to do. In the meantime Igor said they will accept Venmo and provided that information. I was able to cancel the Zelle and use Venmo. Finally payment was received and Igor left. The big difference between these two transactions was a complete lack of follow through communication this time. Promises were made and not kept. Information kept changing. I don't know if this is the new industry standard, but it sure was frustrating.

Worked with my daughter. Loaded the car. My daughter had all of our end of college goods loaded (no issue). Juan was great. Notified us about the status. He even charged our car overnight (since the battery was dead). He arrived next day. (San Francisco to San Diego) Notified me about his ETA. Arrived on time. We unloaded the car at the mechanic. We picked up my daughters belongings. Paid partially upon pickup and paid the remainder upon delivery. Great experience. Great service and support.

It appears that all of the hard work from the broker was just to acquire my business. Once the contract was signed, it became clear that their job was done and all the calling and checking in stopped. NS Auto Transport moved forward with locating a driver( Kotermak Auto Transport) to transport my car from North Carolina to California. My car is a brand new 2023 Dodge Charger that i recently purchased for my son. In short, the transport company delivered my car 1 day late and once they finally arrived with the vehicle, upon inspection of my car, we noticed multiple scratches underneath the car. The scratches happened during the transport, i am guessing during placement of other cars, which required moving my car on and off the trailer. I spoke with the transport company and neither company owned up to the scratches and tried to say the scratches were there when they picked up the car, which is incorrect. Luckily, i was smart enough to take pictures of the car, as well, as video the car inside and out before they picked my car up. Due to the lack of concern and accountability displayed by the companies, i will begin filing a lawsuit to get my car repaired. Therefore, I would encourage all and everyone of you that is looking to get your vehicle transported to stay clear of these two transport companies and brokers. These companies are garbage and will damage your property with no concern. The only concern for these two companies is to get paid, not quality service. Warning!!!!! The driver was very friendly and pleasant. From the start of the process to the end of the process we were informed and in contact with Kotermak along the way. The price we paid was a fair deal compared to other transporters which were charging more but the car would not be enclosed and would be in contact with the elements of sun, weather and nature. While everyone else was quoting $595-$695 to move my 2010 Prius from San Francisco to Los Angeles, Andre at Advantage Auto Movers quoted $375. The carrier arrived on time, and we were told the car would arrive the next morning. However, the dispatcher couldn't provide an estimate for the arrival time. She said she would call 2 hours before the car arrived. She called later that day to tell us the car wouldn't be delivered until the next morning, and again said she couldn't give us an estimate for arrival. If the carrier had been able to give us an accurate window for delivery, I would have given Advantage Auto Movers 5 stars. Andre, the manager, provided excellent customer service, always immediately answering calls and courteously answering all our questions. I would definitely use his service again, and recommend it to friends.

He would have saved us even more if we could have shipped the vehicles together. Alex is exceptionally responsive. The vehicles were shipped a month a part and he has stayed in constant contact between the shipments. If you are worried about treatment of your vehicle during the shipment there is no worry there either. The first car was my Tesla Model S and it was delivered without incident. Go no further for a quote, you will find that this is the company to ship your vehicle through.

They said the price would be a bit higher because the delivery destination was "off their normal route" but it was still less than other companies quote. The delivery was before we arrived Maryland.
