While everyone else was quoting $595-$695 to move my 2010 Prius from San Francisco to Los Angeles, Andre at Advantage Auto Movers quoted $375. The carrier arrived on time, and we were told the car would arrive the next morning. However, the dispatcher couldn't provide an estimate for the arrival time. She said she would call 2 hours before the car arrived. She called later that day to tell us the car wouldn't be delivered until the next morning, and again said she couldn't give us an estimate for arrival. If the carrier had been able to give us an accurate window for delivery, I would have given Advantage Auto Movers 5 stars. Andre, the manager, provided excellent customer service, always immediately answering calls and courteously answering all our questions. I would definitely use his service again, and recommend it to friends.

It appears that all of the hard work from the broker was just to acquire my business. Once the contract was signed, it became clear that their job was done and all the calling and checking in stopped. NS Auto Transport moved forward with locating a driver( Kotermak Auto Transport) to transport my car from North Carolina to California. My car is a brand new 2023 Dodge Charger that i recently purchased for my son. In short, the transport company delivered my car 1 day late and once they finally arrived with the vehicle, upon inspection of my car, we noticed multiple scratches underneath the car. The scratches happened during the transport, i am guessing during placement of other cars, which required moving my car on and off the trailer. I spoke with the transport company and neither company owned up to the scratches and tried to say the scratches were there when they picked up the car, which is incorrect. Luckily, i was smart enough to take pictures of the car, as well, as video the car inside and out before they picked my car up. Due to the lack of concern and accountability displayed by the companies, i will begin filing a lawsuit to get my car repaired. Therefore, I would encourage all and everyone of you that is looking to get your vehicle transported to stay clear of these two transport companies and brokers. These companies are garbage and will damage your property with no concern. The only concern for these two companies is to get paid, not quality service. Warning!!!!! Kotermak provided a car cover even though the car was inside the trailer. They took extra care of our classic car. The car arrived to our door steps in excellent condition. The driver was very friendly and pleasant. From the start of the process to the end of the process we were informed and in contact with Kotermak along the way. The price we paid was a fair deal compared to other transporters which were charging more but the car would not be enclosed and would be in contact with the elements of sun, weather and nature. I purchased an out-of-state car and needed to have it shipped. Also, I had an upcoming business…read moretrip, so I was trying to get the car delivered prior to that. I went through a car shipping broker, and Auto Transport Express got the job. Once I got their contact info, I reached out to the driver (Victor) multiple times to get status updates and make arrangements for the delivery. Throughout all of that, Victor was very patient with all my questions and very flexible (he ended up picking me up from a train station and taking me to the car, on the weekend!). He also went through the paperwork, showed me the issues he had seen when he picked up the car (small scratches, etc.) and everything looked OK. All in all, I was very happy how the delivery turned out and would most definitively work with Victor again if need be (thanks, Victor!).

I expressed to my insurance company that whatever questions this company had should have been addressed before they accepted the tow and NOT almost an entire hour later. I further explained that I could only get the answer from Toyota as I personally didn't know. My insurance and I both called Toyota and Toyota confirmed that whatever this tow truck company was asking, they were able to do. My insurance company then informed this company of the answer Toyota provided to which this tow truck company confirmed with my insurance that they finally fully accepted the tow. I informed my insurance company that if I didn't get an ETA text or call from this tow company within the next hour, I would call my insurance company back to alert them. Welp, an hour passed and this tow company never contacted me. When calling my insurance company, I spoke with a new representative who wasn't aware of the situation and he informed me that this lying incompetent time wasting tow truck company put in their notes that they weren't able to tow my vehicle because Toyota said it couldn't be taken there. I called Toyota with the insurance rep on the phone and they confirmed...that was a lie! I called this incompetent unprofessional lying company directly to get answers as to what the h3ll happened. The phone rings and a fool answers by saying "hello". Mind you, this is supposed to be a company. I immediately ask who I was speaking with and whether or not it was a company because of how unprofessional this fool was on the phone. Rather than answering my legitimate question, he resorted to asking who I was. I asked again if I was speaking with a company. He then raises his voice to ask who I was again. I then use very beautiful colorful language towards him by asking him who the $%&* he was the %&%* and hung up on this fool. I say all of this because for any future tow, I will make sure to never use their service whether through Toyota or privately. This company is absolutely pathetic and I am happy to warn others about what issues they could potentially run into. FYI - I see they respond to negative reviews on Google. Before they even try to respond to this review here, I want them to know that almost everything I mentioned here can be proven because the calls with my insurance company and Toyota are both recorded by me. I have 6 missed phone calls and then the text messages start coming in. It is very overwhelming. After I sift thru the all the texts, emails and voice messages, I call Door to Door transport. Why them? They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. They are family owned and they have over 20 years of experience. I got a good feel speaking with Anthony and he explained the process very clearly. I decided to go with them and everything worked out great. The process was easy and most importantly my car was delivered on time and with no damage.
