It was in both standard and another coating one. I went to check it out. The place is pretty big. They have a lot of merchandise. The handgun and rifle section is really big. The register is at the entrance of the store and I was greeted by the clerk. He told me the rifles were in the back. I went to the back and they are on a number system. So grab a ticket and look around. So much stuff to look at. Just in the gun section was ammo, magazines, parts and so much more. It really is a nice store. I only waited a few minutes and my number was called. It was pretty busy since it was a Saturday. The guy had to look for the rifle I wanted but I told them it was in stock since I had called earlier. He found it in the back and it was on sale. Great price. SO the paperwork is standard to purchase a firearm but each store takes their time so as not to make any mistakes. The process here was pretty fast compared to other dealers. I was happy. Stopped in to renew my Fireman Safety Certification (FSC), in order to pickup a new weapon that I…read morewon through a veteran charity event and auction. No wait was needed to take the test, so after walking in, I told the young lady at the counter who I paid the fee to. And another gentleman got me setup quickly. The test took me maybe 15 minutesband then I was good to go to where the firearm selection area is. To get the rest of my paperwork done for my new FSC card, and to start the DROS process to get my new firearm after the wait period. The first lady I talked to and paid the FasC fee with, helped me with the whole process. And all of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and helpful, throughout every step; making everything as smooth as possible. As far as firearms, while waiting to complete the DROS, I noticed Turner's seemed to have a good selection of pistols and long guns. So after my pickup wait period, I might spend a little more time looking at what they have. They also had a decent amount of accessories too for your own builds and or upgrades.

The young lady at the front of the store immediately welcomed us in and asked if we needed help. She was pleasant and efficient with getting the fishing license for my husband. We walked around the store for a quick browse. Most of the other employees were busy helping other customers at that moment. Can't really speak on the inventory or the prices, compared to Big 5 or Walmart, but at least we know what to expect from Turner's Outdoorsman. Gun culture is an educated culture, be prepared to learn or abide by the safety standards and rules that adhere to them. Inside the store was clean and spacious areas. The department I needed was the firearms section, which was at the far end of the shop. That being said they have a wide collection of what I say good ammo that you can rely on for self-defense. What I can also say is that they do not gouge you on prices. The prices are well within reason, and they are updated ammunition. By updated I mean that they have different casings for those who know that grains and bullet type matter. That being said, getting plinking ammunition is a good to go here. You can trust the brands they have in stock and the staff for the firearms department is knowledgeable and friendly. Keep in mind the long wait is due to either education, or the long lengthy checks to get said items. That being said, pay your taxes, pay your registration fees, do your due diligence and you're out and about easy. I may bring in my gun to get checked by their smith. But TBH American Made Baretta 9mm FS is the far superior choice than the mass produced m9 and Italian made one. I don't think I need a service on my weapon in quite some time. I own a duck hunting club on Van Sickle Island in the Suisun Marsh and had placed an order for an…read moreXFowler Mallard blind before the start of the 2022 Waterfowl season. The reason for that was I needed an extra blind to accommodate two Marine Corps veterans that wished to hunt my property . On October 10th, 2022, I spoke to Mr. Harry Bunfill, the owner of the XFowler company on several occasions and he told me I would have the blind by Saturday October 22nd, opening weekend of the duck season. On October 12th, 2022 he then told me that the blind wouldn't be available on opening day because of some issues he had with his vendors which couldn't provide him with the cages that mount on the blind's floating platform. On October 25th, 2022 Mr. Harry Bunfill told me on the phone that he would deliver the blind to me in the morning of October 27th, 2022 at 07:00 hours. I then got a text from him telling me that he would deliver the blind on the evening of October 26th. I called him to coordinate a time and place and he told me that he would meet me at 19:30 hours right after another delivery he was making at another nearby duck club. On the phone, I specifically asked him not to leave my blind on that other club property. That evening, I waited patiently until 21:00 hours and never heard from Mr.Harry Bunfill. The next morning, I received a phone call from the owner of the nearby duck club who told me that my blind had been left on his property the night before. He said the blind was very heavy and that he did not have any means to bring it to me. He also said that he had told Mr. Harry Bunfill that he did not think it was a good idea to leave my blind on his property. I called Mr. Bunfill to ask him about my blind. Mr. Bunfill got very angry and told me he had called me that evening and that I should have answered my phone. I replied I had never received any call from him. He then started insulting me, calling me names and told me to go F**ck myself and take the blind and shove it up my a**ss. All that after I had paid over $5000.00 dollars of my hard earned money for that blind. I told him that if I did not get the blind soon I wanted my money back. Mr. Bunfill then sent me the following text message: " Your return has been processed. I don't want people like you to have our products. I don't want your type's business. You are a narcissist and a liar. I find it hard to believe anyone likes you at all. I'm sorry I wasted my time on you. You're a miserable person and you know it. The world will be a little bit better when you're gone. I am just thankful that you don't have one of our blinds". Interesting way of doing business Mr. Bunfill! I will make sure to forward my review to some of your customers including the California Waterfowl Association and the U.S Fish and Wildlife!
