Milagro Farm is just that, a working farm with many aspects, including the winery. The tasting room, patio, and barrel room facilities have a rustic vibe, but are very nice. The staff was friendly and provides a lot of information on the various wines they offer. WINES: We shared a tasting of 5 whites and 5 reds. They have a large selection of varietals, including a Sparkling, Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Barbera, Cab Sauv, Petite Sirah, and some blends. The wines are okay, not necessarily matching my palate, but others seem to really enjoy them. The garden area is an "instagram" worthy spot for influencer photos as it is decorated with vintage photo frames, art, pottery giving it a rustic yet artsy feel. Pictures on yelp do the venue more justice than the companies website or TripAdvisor. Dates and hours are limited, as the family runs all aspects of Fort Cross. Highly recommend confirming they are open before just heading out. My one reservation or word of caution is with the archery. There are no forearm guards or finger protection offered. The bowstring with repetitive can possibly hurt your skin and cause of injuries.

Andi was not the manager we spoke to that day, but Emma. Bandy got my ResortPass account restricted after we complained about the service. ResortPass still gave us the refund for $235. According to CA law, as a consumer, we're allowed to leave an HONEST, negative, review without retaliation. We have documentation etc to back it up. However, the on-site manager was unreachable, so we had to find another spot and set up ourselves late at night. When we asked for compensation, we were first offered only 10% off a future stay, then refused any refund on the stay we'd actually paid for, with the host telling us the sites were "nearly identical." The property itself is nice, but paying in full for a site you don't receive, and then being dismissed when you raise it, left a bad impression. Disappointing handling of a problem that wasn't our fault.

This venue truly feels like a dream for photographers and for couples looking for a unique, beautiful setting. The layout is so cool! A stunning house sits at the top of the hill, and the drive up is lined with orange trees, which immediately creates a magical experience. Just below, there's a pond with a gazebo, and only a few steps away you'll find the ceremony site. It's already gorgeous on its own, but it becomes even more breathtaking with added decor. The reception area, with its canopy of sparkling string lights, feels warm and romantic without needing much enhancement. My couple started their day with getting-ready photos in the bridal and groom suites, which are full of character. There are so many thoughtful details and props from vintage trays to elegant silver-framed mirrors, that make for creative images. We also used the spacious, beautifully lit living room for portraits. The first look and bridal party photos took place just outside the house, which provided a private and peaceful setting since guests gather in a separate area for the ceremony and reception. After the ceremony, we explored the gazebo and pond for more portraits. One of the most unforgettable moments was sunset!!! My jaw was on the floor! The sky turned the most incredible shade of pink, with mountains surrounding the venue and the string lights beginning to glow. It was absolutely breathtaking, and I couldn't stop taking photos. As the evening continued, the dance floor area became the perfect backdrop for nighttime shots. What I love most is that the reception space is already so stunning that it doesn't require much decor, though decor can elevate it even further!! I'm also a big fan of Kelsey and Peter's Instagram! They share behind-the-scenes moments of running and renovating the venue with their family, and it's so fun to follow their journey.
