Our last visit was on 2/6/2022, and at that time the Tasting: $16/person for a 6-pour flight (waived with any 1 bottle purchase) We've been here several times over the years, but only once since the new ownership took over. Milagro Farm is just that, a working farm with many aspects, including the winery. The tasting room, patio, and barrel room facilities have a rustic vibe, but are very nice. The staff was friendly and provides a lot of information on the various wines they offer. WINES: We shared a tasting of 5 whites and 5 reds. They have a large selection of varietals, including a Sparkling, Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Barbera, Cab Sauv, Petite Sirah, and some blends. The wines are okay, not necessarily matching my palate, but others seem to really enjoy them. I always say that with wine, what I like/dislike may differ from your palate, so I suggest that you try them out yourselves. Overall, a relaxing, enjoyable time and location. read more

Look no further for your wedding venue!! This is it!! We toured many venues looking for the perfect location but nothing was quite right until we found Milagro Farm Winery! It was exactly what we were looking for - the flawless mix of nature with a Tuscany style. We used their micro wedding option since we only had 25 guests and it was beyond amazing! It's DIY so you can tailor the decor/food/some vendors however you wish! Everyone we worked with at the venue was amazing, our day-of venue manager was Sammi who was so kind, and she went above and beyond to make our day special. We wouldn't change a thing. The venue has so many beautiful photo spots and the vendor list they provide is very helpful as well. We used Brandon Colbert for our photographer and we highly recommend him. The space was superbly gorgeous.. I wish there were lights or reflective posts for the drive on the way out because it was super dark leaving... The venue was spacious and had plenty of shaded areas. It has 1-2 ponds and that area is really good for pictures. I attended a wedding here and the staff was hospitable and attentive. The bathrooms are huge and clean. The food was decent and aesthetically pleasing. We had tacos and chips with the options of carne asada, pollo asado, and carnitas. They had golf carts shuttling people from the parking lot to the wedding seating area. It was fun & enjoyable for me, but scary for my friend lol.. The moment we drove onto the property we knew we wanted to have our wedding at Milagro. It is so beautiful and scenic, and it feels like you're transported to Italy. From the open lawn ceremony space to the beautiful cypress tress, to the vineyards, man-made lake, and the iconic wine cave, there are so many unique locations to make memories and capture photos of your special day. The recommended lists of vendors were excellent and the venue had plenty of amenities to make our day run smoothly. Samantha was always quick to respond and offer advice as we prepared for our wedding. We also booked the Lakehouse which we highly recommend for getting ready. Came here to the tasting room on a rainy weekend day and sat outside by the fire pit and it was the perfect ambience! My friend and I opted for red wine tastings and they were all lovely. Beautiful view in the patio space and they provide blankets to help keep warm. Indoor room is beautiful lodge feel. Staff is so sweet. They even have games inside! My husband and I got married at Milagro in April 2025. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful--lush with trees, lakes, and photogenic scenery throughout the property. The wine is great, and the setting truly made for a stunning backdrop to our wedding day. That said, I'm leaving this review to warn other couples. Our experience with the staff at Milagro was disappointing, stressful, and ultimately tainted what should have been a joyful time leading up to our wedding. This review is not a reflection of the owner, who was kind, apologetic, and helpful once he was made aware of the issues. However, I strongly urge him to be more involved in how his staff manages the business. Initial Booking - Smooth Start When we first booked the venue, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly, and communication was easy. We later pushed our wedding date back, and everyone--vendors included--got on board with the new date. Our contract remained the same. Overcharged $2,925 Just Weeks Before the Wedding We paid off the full balance for the venue early, in November 2024. In March 2025--just weeks before our wedding--I received a message saying that my final payment would be automatically charged on March 25. I immediately reached out and reminded the staff we had already paid in full. They assured me to disregard the message and that no charge would be made. Then I was charged $2,925. Despite my prior communication, the payment went through. The staff apologized and said they would mail a reimbursement check, claiming it was sent on March 28. After two weeks, no check had arrived. My coordinator and I were understandably frustrated. After reaching out to the owner directly, we learned he had no idea this was even happening. He stepped in, apologized, and promised to make things right. I finally received the check on April 10, and it was signed on April 9--not March 28 as I was told. This means the staff lied about when it was sent. Lying about a nearly $3,000 reimbursement during an already stressful time is completely unacceptable. To his credit, the owner reimbursed us for the wine we purchased and let us keep it. But this situation should have never happened. Miscommunication with Layout & Chairs Milagro uses a website called Prism to design the event layout. We were never given access, and my coordinator informed the staff we couldn't complete it. They said it was fine and would go off notes from our walkthrough. The week of the wedding, they asked why the layout wasn't done and said they didn't know how to set up the ceremony chairs. We told them we needed 100 chairs. On the day of the wedding, there were only 92. This kind of last-minute scrambling was entirely avoidable and added more unnecessary stress. Last-Minute Charges via Personal Venmo During our walkthrough, we saw an arch and mirror and asked if we could use them. The staff said yes and made a note of it--no mention of a rental fee. Then, just a week before the wedding, I received a Venmo request to pay a staff member (Sam) personally for the items. I would have gladly paid had it been discussed upfront, but sending a personal Venmo request with no prior agreement felt unprofessional and poorly handled. Again, I had already paid everything off in advance to avoid last-minute surprises like this. Golf Cart & Guest Transportation We were told there would be multiple golf carts available to transport guests due to the size of the property. There was only one cart and one staff member operating it--for a wedding of 100 guests. Many people had to walk long distances, including elderly guests. At the end of the night, our DJ asked for a ride with his equipment and was denied--no explanation given. Very unprofessional. Poor Restroom Maintenance The bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and soap early in the evening. We had to ask staff to restock during the reception. This is a basic expectation for any event, let alone a wedding. Wine Shortage We were required to purchase a set amount of wine based on our guest count, which is understandable. We were also told we could buy more wine on-site if we ran out. We ran out at the start of dinner, and despite guests being willing to pay for more, they did not allow us to purchase any additional wine. At a winery, this was especially disappointing. Final Thoughts Milagro is a gorgeous venue that has so much potential. But the mismanagement and poor communication from the staff caused significant and unnecessary stress leading up to and on the day of our wedding. If you choose to book here: Get everything in writing (especially verbal agreements) Monitor all payments and bank activity closely Document all communication via email Be prepared for the possibility of miscommunication and follow up consistently It truly saddens me to leave this review, because I am not someone who writes negative feedback lightly. But I hope this helps other couples make an informed decision and avoid the challenges we faced. read more

Milagro is a winery in Ramona, CA that is in San Diego County and 20-30 minutes from a main highway. You may be thinking this winery is too hard to get to. Yes, you can make that case, BUT IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE!!! Believe me, my wife and I have been coming here for years. Each time we come, we are not disappointed. The wine is Very Good. I did the red wine flight with blends called Bellorosso and Balena Rojo, along with Merlot and Cab. All were very good. Since the location is way off the main highway, it is very quiet. The tasting room is comfortable, has a nice vibe, and also has a nice patio area. Service was great! I highly recommend a visit to Milagro. They are only open Saturday and Sunday, so you'll have to plan ahead. read more

We were doing our own winery tour of Ramona & this was our first stop. There is a dirt road heading into the winery but it was pretty smoothed out. Dog friendly. Excellent customer service! The winery is gorgeous! They had a few tables dispersed among their vineyards which was awesome. Hidden gem out in Ramona. Went here to check out this venue for my friend's wedding. Gorgeous views all around this property. Can be a little confusing finding your way around. However there are arrows pointing you to where you want to go-(tasting room, private event room, parking etc). They have a little cottage for the bride to get ready in, a cave for the groomsmen. Super cute. Shuttles can take those to the wedding sight/reception. Roads are somewhat narrow. Parking is tight. Unfortunately there are no hotels on the property. However, this place is amazing and very intimate being away from everything. Love the cave, the old crush house. Their wine is good & the cheese board is tasty. read more

We toured this venue last minute after our original venue cancelled on us two weeks before our wedding day. We were angry, sad and disappointed that our original plan fell through, but Ellie and Sam came to the rescue. In such a short time span they helped us plan everything and even recommended a wedding planner who was awesome. Milagro is a stunning wedding venue. It is about an hour from downtown San Diego, but is a like being transported to Northern California. Light dapples through the majestic oak trees, there is a Tuscan crush house, and a rustic stone wine cave which come together to provide a romantic setting for your special day. We fell in love the first time we toured the place and I'm sure you will too. Melissa and her team are a pleasure to work with. From the moment of your first tour, to the day of the event, they are there to shepherd you through this process. I highly recommend visiting during an open house to see the set up and get to know approved vendors. We had initially planned to get married in October of 2019, but life happened and we had to delay. Melissa and crew were very accommodating and we were able to rebook for 10/10/2020. As we all know 2020 came and we have all been coasting on easy street. Milagro was very flexible and patient as we had to navigate the world of COVID weddings. They kept us updated of what we could and could not do, and we went forward with a scaled down wedding and could not have the reception there (bummer). I don't think the intimate ceremony could have been any better. The Milagro staff were there to keep us on task, and drive us around the massive property after the ceremony to capture some incredible photographs. Melissa even forwarded us some great shots the next day that she had captured on her phone. Melissa and her team want your day to be special. When we let her know that our original officiant had ghosted us, they wanted to know who to make sure that it is not somebody they recommend to couples to work with. They keep the approved vendors in check. I could go on reliving the day, but nobody wants to read that. I want to thank Milagro for the flexibility and for helping make our wedding memorable. I wanted to take my girlfriend here for her birthday as we've heard nothing but great things about their wine. Unfortunately when we arrived there was nobody there, we got there at noon on Sunday and the posted hours were 11:30- 5:30. We drove around and couldn't find anyone to speak with to make sure we were at the right spot. I tried calling the number for the tasting room but nobody answered. An hour later I got a call back simply saying they had a late opening today, but nothing was posted on the website, social media or even on the door stating they wouldn't be open for regular business hours. We were pretty bummed but found some other great locations in the area. If you wish to visit Milagro be sure to call first and make sure they're open. read more

I need to start this review by saying I know little to nothing about weddings. I have never been a bridesmaid, I've only been to two weddings in all my life. I was so nervous and truly ignorant when it came to planning my own. The team at Milagro was phenomenal, always ready to answer any questions (no matter how silly) I had. The girls know what they're doing, listen to them. To have a team who knows the property, knows weddings, and has done this a thousand (maybe more) times is absolutely priceless and worth every penny. When it came to our wedding day they were there to make sure that everything ran smoothly (sure that's why you're paying them) , but most importantly the support and love they pour into every detail of your wedding shows how much they really love their jobs. There was never a moment I was worried that everything wasn't running according to plan. They took care of me, my husband, my bridesmaids, our groomsmen, but also our families , our guests, and our vendors. When I tell you my wedding day was the most beautiful and perfect and best day of my whole life , I mean it with my whole heart. Go with Milagro , you won't regret it. PS!!! The property is so breathtaking!! Our guests have not stopped gushing about it, and every photo we have seen this far ,from every angle, is insanely gorgeous. I was incredibly shocked by the lack of customer service Milagro offers to potential clients. I was considering holding my wedding at their location as I have now been to countless locations-most with fantastic customer service and packages, but their aesthetics not being exactly what I wanted. Milagro was the first place I have found that had the look I was going for. About a week ago I asked for a tour and the first available tour they could offer was the middle of a Friday afternoon the following week. I went ahead and booked this, as they won't allow you to book without a tour. Yesterday, I drive the hour to Milagro for my tour. I loved the property. It is honestly stunning. They however fell incredibly short in organizational skills and initial offerings. After my tour I was sat down to go over pricing per usual. She comes out and tells me my date had been scheduled this morning before I came up. In my opinion, the proper action would have been to call me to alert me to this, as it is a long drive and some people are not flexible on dates. In addition to this, they do not offer a wine tasting at your tour. I do understand that you may not want to offer a wine tasting to everyone who comes in as that could be costly to your business, however may I suggest allowing couples to at least pay for a tasting and if they choose your location, deduct it from the cost of their wedding or throw in a free bottle. As a result I had to buy a bottle of wine-which is fine-but in my opinion I can't get an accurate representation of offerings through one bottle and I will not go through five bottles of wine on my own in any timely manner. After my experience I emailed the wedding coordinator informing her I'd like to book a different day, however I did have my concerns with organizational skills and professionalism and I'd like to ensure that the event will run smoothly. I received the response in the attached photo. As someone in sales, I am not impressed by this response and it is a cop out so you don't have to deal with someone with high standards of quality. If I'm being completely honest, I was pretty heart broken by this response as this was the first location that I fell in love with looks wise and have been searching for months. The only reasons I am giving them one star is first off, because yelp won't let me go lower, and second because the bottle of wine I purchased was actually pretty great. read more

Wonderful tour at one of Ramona's highest points. Warm breezes and a nice view makes for great wine tasting. After sampling several wines, my comment was, let's buy a bottle and spend the day here! We took the 10 minute walk to the wine cave which is next to their event venue. It's a lovely setting with a pretty pond. Our favorite wine was and is-had to buy some- Littlepage 2013 red blend. Our waitress was super sweet and very helpful with educating us on the wine profiles. We ended up ordering the flight because we wanted to try a little of everything and we were not disappointed!
