I am extremely dissatisfied with my service I received today what happened to customer service in general first and foremost they have gotten to the point where they are trying to swindle their customers out of any extra coins that they can get out of them. I'm so upset I literally just wanna cry. I already haven't had my nails done in years due to circumstances going on in my life and prioritizing what's more important. Unfortunately, will not be returning. My dip/gel nails peeled the same night of getting nails done (Saturday morning to Saturday evening). By the morning, less than 24 hours later (Sunday morning) while doing basic household activities, breakfast, dishes, shower, my nails were completely peeling off and my real nail exposed and began bending (i use dip because of its stronger hold - usually) I called Sunday morning to verify they knew I was returning for a fix or refund because of how much chipping/peeling the gel/polish/powder had come off. I had to explain my situation half a dozen times to several staff all while being told it wasn't their issue it was mine. We spend a LOT of money on this luxury and I appreciate the work the staff do - however, sometimes there are issues - as is life. And as a customer, with a receipt and clearly an issue with the service provided, this should not have been as long of a "fight" as it was, nor should I have been made out to be the "bad guy" here. The original nail tech kept saying it wasn't her fault - and disregarded me completely. (I also tipped her! Which upsets me even more!) I will not be returning to this location and will not refer it. Im sure that means nothing to them, a dime a dozen , as far as customers go - but, like them, I work too hard for my money and time is precious to have had this type of encounter. Never again. (The son of the owner, who tried to help with the translating the issue, was awesome. Rushed, painful, and unsanitary service! The woman who did my nails did not even bother to say hello. She was very rough and went too fast when cutting my cuticles. She went too deep on 3 separate fingers, and I started to bleed. I asked her for some alcohol to dab on my cuts, and she proceeded to use her bare fingers to dab a cuticle relief powder directly on my open cuts. I was mortified. I have been living in Sacramento for about three years now and have not found the right nail salon yet. I've gone through horrible customer service to lumpy thick acrylic nails in multiple different salons. I randomly started following one of the nail techs Tom on IG and seen his amazing work. I seen he worked here so I came right when they opened back from the whole COVID lock down. I wasn't able to see him but the male receptionist referred me to another nail tech named Eric and he did such an amaaazing job! He took his time and did quality work. I also got a pedicure there which is fairly priced, even with them being so busy my pedicure lady took her time and did a perfect job on my toes. Would literally give this place a 0 if i could, are rude asf and get upset if you try telling them you're not liking the service so far. I went in for 2 pedicures with a friend, in their pamphlet they price the service for 33$, but tried charging my friend 50$ because they "accidentally" added gel even tho my friend specified she didn't like gel at all. I went in for acrylic toes myself & they had the efile going dangerously high, it wrapped around my toes twice & caused my skin to break. I also wasn't liking the outcome of my nails after specifying multiple times I wasn't happy with the service, i ended up telling her i wasn't happy with the way she doing things & would just pay for half & since we'd gone through half the process already, she got upset & ended up being very disrespectful. -0/10 do not recommend, go to Florin Hair & Nails instead it is 100% worth your money & is only a 2 minute drive from this place. read more

This is the only nail salon I go to in Sacramento - specifically for Tammy. She does an outstanding job on my nails; however, she is a little more on the higher end $ - but it's definitely worth it if you want your nails to last a long time. I wouldn't recommend coming here for a pedicure because it's way too expensive. I legit rated this place 4 stars just because of Tammy. So if you come here, I'd definitely say to book your nail appointment with her! This facility is definitely in the rougher parts of Sacramento. So my review is based on a few things but let me start with the positives. I got the OPI pedicure and it was great nothing to write home about but the massage was good and the polish was great. Hence the 2 stars. The shop is pretty clean and they also have plastic walls to separate customers. However I went there for my daughters first time getting her nails done and thats where it goes sour. I have been following Tomnails_91 on ig for a while and thought he would be the perfect person to do her nails for the first time. His attention to detail and all around style is amazing so I wanted her first Experience to be a great one. I set the appointment 1 week in advance, we showed up and I went to the left side ave then his name and appointment time because Sactown is 2 sides and they told to go to the other side. We went to the second side and they told us to wait, I told them I would do a pedicure and so they sat me and her down. About 10 min later some guy came up and took her to do her nails. I didn't think anything of it I thought it was Tom. Now my toes are done and I go to check out my daughters nails, the guy that was doing her nails was doing okay I kinda noticed that her nails weren't the quality of Tom but again I didn't know what he looked like and I didn't want to be rude because I thought it was him. Now I go on ig and have a message from him asking where we were, I told him we were at the shop and someone was working on my daughter. He basically told me that its my fault that I didnt ask for him evebthough I did. He nails came out sub par but she was happy and thats what matters. All in all his work is amazing and I wish my daughter would have got the appointment I booked but his attitude towards me and misdirected blame will keep me from ever utilizing his services. I went in for a gel mani and pedi. Lynn gave a great gel pedi... she was awesome, but this guy with glasses did a fucking terrible job of a gel mani. Was too quick and not paying attention to anything muchless detail. I asked him to redo four times and they still look terrible. He did not apply enough polish the first time. He ignored the sides. It fucking bubbled. He filed the tips too much so there isn't any polish. Painted far away from cuticle, as you will notice on my left thumb. Uneven top coat. He SUCKED. The worse gel mani of my life. Even though Lynn was great on her first day back, this guy ruined my entire experience. Stay away from the forty year old asain man with metal glasses. I can say I've been to every nail shop this side of Texas, and I can honestly say I haven't found one I totally Love until my full set that I got from Sactown nails I had gone there a few days prior and got my full set and left and two days later three of them fell off I went back to the nail salon and told the young man they were very quick to get me in and they did an excellent job they took all my nails off and started all over and they did it for free I was amazed I've never been to a nail shop before where when they mess up they fix it for free I will absolutely go back to this nail shop over and over again very very well impressed. This place is just terrible. Went here earlier in the month around 06/20 and the lady that helped me was very rough and completely cut up the sides of my nails. My fingers were in pain after this visit. She didn't give me what I wanted AT ALL. I asked for medium length almond nails with a very thin French tip and a small flower design made up of just 6 dots on the ring finger. Which she decided to just do glitter on the ring finger instead. She cut them to the size I asked, but still shaved them so short that she even shaved down my nail for the shape, which was painful. They were all uneven with some long and some short nails and the French tip took up half the nail. She also messed up and got some white on the clear pink and didn't fix it. I Had to remove them and let my nails heal so I could go somewhere else. Will never be back. read more

OK, so let me give it to you straight. I've been going to this location for about 5 years, it's a hit and miss. I use to get my lashes and waxing done by Tammy. She does nice work when she isn't rushed unfortunately, that is a rarity. Sometimes my lashes would have way too much glue and looked like a clustered mess other times they would come off, or short one side. I stopped getting them done not worth the hassle, usually the people that visit this place cut the techs off, asking them to hurry even if you're in the chair making an appointment doesn't matter you're still going to wait. As for nails, I would go in for gel mani/ pedis, they will play musical chairs with their customers. Especially, if 'hoodrats' and friends come in since they will make more money. It's obvious some of the techs have little to no experience they will rush you since it's a pretty happening place. Customer cut them off so they are always rushing for a quick dollar. I was lucky if my gel nails lasted more than a week if that, several times they would completely pop off. Sonny (tech), Tammy's brother, done quick work but his nails don't last. A few times I don't live in the area so it wasn't worth me going back, I thought this was normal so I decided to visit another salon and guess what my nail problems no longer exist. So, after all these years I gave up on this place, not worth the drive or the wait. Another thing, if they were really busy they would grab whomever to do your pedi, a few times they looked like a job I could have done myself. I would ask them to kindly fix it, and still look shoddy and they would give you an attitude. And it isn't cheap, time and money, so I would avoid this place. Too bad because with Tammy there it has potential but since she rushes, or you get pond off to a different tech you'll be back for repairs soon. If you want quality, avoid this place! read more
