Overly expensive charging people dinner rate before 2pm and same price as sitting in. Also the food was already cold for a pickup order. I put the order at 1:10pm and they told me it will take more than 30min for very simple meals available in any Persian cuisines. I was there in exactly 30min to pickup the order but the food was already cold and paid $50 for 3 simple dishes. It's a shame not to disclose prices and charging people same price for lunch and dinner! Very very disappointed !!! Came here for the first time recently, it looked nice when I walked in, but when we sat at a table, it had rice all over it including the chairs and floor. The sodas that you order literally comes in a soda can. The chicken is very very dry tasting. Another down side is that the several customers who were already there before us made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable because we were a different ethnicity. Felt out of place. My mom and I ate here for the first time the other night and were so impressed that I thought the whole experience deserved a Yelp review! First off, our waiter was as kind and attentive as can be and we appreciated the excellent service throughout the meal. We went crazy for the complimentary bread that was chewy, fresh, and full of flavor. We ordered the appetizer combination plate which had falafel, hummus, eggplant dip, and a yogurt dip and all were delicious. My mom enjoyed lentil soup and I loved the Koobideh combination plate. It came with once skewer of ground beef, one skewer of ground chicken, rice, and charred tomato, jalepeño, and onion. My eyes were rolling back into my head with every bite. I can't wait to go back! I was so excited to hear that darband was replaced with Sadaf. We tried it out tonight and the food was just okay. Don't expect too much when you come here. The free check hummus was not so good (it was runny and bland imo), the maust musir was just regular yogurt instead of the thicker yogurt you can order at other Persian restaurants. I also would not order ghormesabzi, it tasted like it was made from dry vegetables not the fresh authentic way. We waited for ever to get the check although it was not busy. The staff were very nice though. Personally I would rather drive to LA for the best Persian food and that's what I recommend if you have the time. read more

Went here today around 1 or 1:30 in the afternoon. When we walked in, we noticed a totally empty patio. We walked to the front and a woman looked at us, then a man looked at us and passed by. The woman then asked how many in our party. We told her there were 2 of us. She looked to the man who passed before and he said, "we don't have seating available for lunch." He clearly wanted us to leave. We promptly left and wondered if the restaurant closed between lunch and dinner. We looked it up but it didn't close until 9:00 pm. I've never been told that I couldn't be served and not have it followed with a time to return like 30 or 60 minutes. They could have also tried to accommodate by sitting us outside or offering if we wanted take out, but they seemed happy to turn us away. I honestly feel like this guy didn't want to serve us. I don't know if it is because we are an interracial couple, but that's the only thing we could wonder after such a rude encounter. So happy we didn't give a penny to these jerks! read more
