    Beet salad
    Michael L.

Wow, I just had the tastiest and most filling Persian lunch! Came here for work, my first time but not for my group. I can see why they come here all the time. This place is delicious! I had the Juicy Chicken plate with a side beet salad. Everything, I mean everything, was good. Rice and veggies on point. But let me tell you about that chicken! Juicy as advertised and perfectly seasoned. Wow. Plus the beet salad was meticulous. I tried my buddies salmon and that was also just as good. Highly recommend and wanting to come back to try more.

Delicious, exquisite, and explosive flavor to go with tenderness. I can't even find the words to describe the flat iron steak, and honestly my whole plate was delicious. Prime protein you will not regret.

    Lavashak martini

Very good quality food and an excellent lavashak martini. I'd definitely come back to try more of the kebabs. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars were that the eggplant dip was a bit too sour for my taste, and the service was somewhat slow. Still, I'd happily return and eat there again.

Koobideh combo w/ Albaloo pollo and salad

This is the best Persian kabob I've ever had, IMHO better than Raffi's which many people consider the best. I would definitely come back since every dish we had was perfectly executed. The meat quality is outstanding and I'm sad we hadn't been eating at Sadaf all these years! Service was great too and the restaurant is design well.

8.5/10 If you're hunting down some of the best Persian food in Los Angeles, Sadaf in Encino absolutely deserves a spot on your list. Their koobideh beef is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Juicy, well-seasoned, and tender, it instantly earned a spot as my second favorite koobideh in LA--and that's saying a lot since I take my beef day seriously. I've had one that edges it out on flavor, but Sadaf's rendition is still excellent and definitely worthy of a rotation spot for Persian cravings. The portions are generous, the rice is perfectly fluffy, and the balance of flavors makes it clear why this place has such a reputation. Next time, I'll be trying their juicy chicken, which I've heard is the star of the menu and the most popular dish here. Only downside: parking. From what I saw, it's valet-only, which feels like an inconvenience in this part of Encino. Still, the food makes up for it. Bottom line: If you're in the Valley and want one of LA's top Persian food experiences, Sadaf is worth it--just come hungry and maybe ready to valet. My personal favorites for beef koobideh are 1. Raffis 2. The spot & the kebab factory 3. Sadaf

The food here is excellent. Come out for their happy hour to try a few different items. The service is always top drawer here. And the place feels clean and spacious. Overall a very positive experience

Raw onions, not grilled ones, were sent to the medical office.

Absolutely the rudest manager. Food ordered in an amount of over $550 They send food with a raw onion to the medical office When I called the manager, she didn't care, totally dismissing our concern ... when she called earlier to confirm the order, she yelled at my staff, "Don't put me on hold " - LADY, this is a medical office. This is last time that we will order food or I will go to this place

Beautifully designed restaurant that has excellent Persian/Iranian food. The portions are absolutely huge and I had to grab a to-go box for over half of the food which I could not finish. I also thought that the Dough (yogurt drink from Iran) was a great touch and a perfect way to beat the heat and pair with meat. The restaurant is located on Ventura Blvd making it very convenient to access and you can easily run errands at say, the nearby Whole Foods after your meal. Highly recommended!!!

I've had oyster shooters before and loved them but didn't like their take on it here. Way too much horseradish and the vodka portion was way off (too little vodka) and unbalanced. Oysters Rockefeller - 4 1/2 stars. Quite meaty and delicious, such a great flavor and take on this classic dish. Crab Cake - 4 stars. Quite the large portion, and quite good! Miso Chilean Seabass - 5 stars. This was excellent! It was cooked perfectly with a delicious miso sauce, served with a tasty jasmine rice and steamed spinach. Short Rib w mashed potatoes - 5 stars. No notes! The meat was soft, tender, and rich and flavor and the potatoes were also excellent. Our waitress (who was fabulous) brought out an ice cream Sunday to celebrate the birthday occasion and I have to say it was also fabulous! It was an old school brownie sunday with gobs of delicious hot fudge and sprinkles and an item I would definitely order upon my next visit. I didn't realize they had a complimentary parking lot in the back, that's a huge bonus. Would definitely come back here for a special occasion, this spot is solid!

The famed lobster appetizer was not for us. Bits of lobster floating in a lot of butter didn't excite us. Excellent salads. The other appetizers however, were excellent. We've been twice now had had a lot of their menu. The pork was outstanding. The rack was very good, but I've had even better racks elsewhere. The "famous" banana cream pie was good, not great, but so huge and rich it must be shared. At $30, it's maybe also a tad overpriced. The bar makes a healthy-sized martini that's worth its high-end price tag. Great wine list with wonderful advice and good-sized sample pours, even though I only drink one glass and my husband doesn't drink at all. This is a good place to splurge on a good wine. I've mentioned the above-par service. Informative and cheery, without trying to become your best friend. They went out of their way to assure us a table in a very quiet spot, due to my deafness. Very attentive without being overbearing. Their suggestions seem honest, rather than just trying to upsell everything. The place is huge and gorgeous. Flatteringly, if dimly, lit, it lends itself to romantic dinners and anniversaries. In our case, we like to have a rather luxurious and romantic and lengthy meal perhaps once a month, and feel very fortunate to be able to do so. It's divided into several smallish areas and the effect is rather cozy and intimate. It's chic and stylish, so PLEASE folks, dress for it? It especially saddens me to see a nicely dressed young woman, who obviously spent some time on herself beforehand, with a guy ( I'll guess her husband ), in shorts and a tee shirt. I say, for a place like this, where you could easily spend four bills on a good meal for two, with drinks, management, bring back a dress policy! And enforce it with a reminder email they you do so. Is a collared shirt and a pressed pair of khakis too much to ask for?
