I've been using safe electric for about 8 years. His prices are good, but his workers and the work they do is top notch. Since he is so good and his prices are so reasonable, he does get very busy. I would at times have to call him back, but he has never "no showed" me on an appointment. His per hour price is the same as most other electricians. If ratings were based on separate criteria - the work is five stars. Vince and his wife have done great work at two homes for me. They lose a star based on timely follow up. Calls may not be returned for several days, which is frustrating. Pricing is good, but be aware, using a credit card will result in an additional price increase. Not a big deal as this is common for small businesses, would rather have known up front rather than at the last minute. Do like their work, which is what makes me willing to put up with lack of timely communication. read more

I asked him 3 questions and he only answered one - interestingly the one regarding the yelp $100 credit for $50 purchase. Had an electrical problem and needed to get it fixed as soon as I could as my wife and I were both home sick and didn't have any TV or Radio to occupy our time. I had a unique/frustrating situation with my smoke detectors. My dog was in panic mode and I was going nuts trying to get them to silence​ (obviously, no smoke or fire were in the vicinity). Safe Electric has done 3 jobs for us. Moving can lights into a proper alignment, installing fans, and fixing a wonky set of GFI plugs that ran through the kitchen counter plugs. Other family members had can lights installed in three rooms in a narrow space of a1950's house, dining room chandelier placed correctly, GFI/outdoor plugs added and put outside, fans installed. Every job has been done as promised at a fair and reasonable price. Danny, Vince, and Dave, have been excellent to work with. Vince has been on every job but one. He checks to make sure how the task is done is what you the customer wanted. One suggestion: Personally speak with Danny to get a specific date and time nailed down. read more
