The actual issue turned out to be a faulty switch on a grinder pump, and the repair was under $1,000. This experience raised serious concerns for me regarding the accuracy of the assessment and overall integrity of the recommendation. I strongly encourage others to seek additional opinions before committing to major repairs.

Darren was a good plumber, but he did not have the knowledge or expertise to address our proprietary system. He ended up replacing two $500 floats that were not defective. With the alarm still not fixed he said I needed to call an electrician. The problem was lack of training on the control panel. The problem was fixed the next day for no charge over the phone. Our bill for not fixing the system was $1,160. Again, the plumber was honest and meant well. Sending him to work on a system that he was trained to trouble shoot was the root of the our issue. This situation could have been easily avoided with a simple "we recommend you contact a certified NuWater provider". Honesty is the best policy.
