Scary and unprofessional. Received an aggressive email out of the blue from the owner about a missed 2024 invoice, including statements about "wishing bad things" and references to showing up at our home unannounced and watching through our windows. Completely inappropriate. The work was a minor light switch issue quoted around $250 but billed at $450. Then the light fixture attached failed afterward and had to be replaced at additional cost. I had a great experience start to end with Gerryn. I needed 2 sockets put in the floor of the living room. From the onset of my experience, I was impressed. I was working with the business coordinator and I was texting with the owner Gerry himself to coordinate exactly what I needed done as well as timing, pricing, and all that. For me the pricing was very reasonable and straightforward. The two guys that came for the install, Gerry and his apprentice and they were awesome! My arrival window was 8am-8:30am. At 7:45am I got texted to say he was on the way. They arrived just after 8am which was perfect. They were communicative, thoughtful and clean. They took their shoes off everytime they walked into the house and made sure not to bring dirt up from the crawlspace. Gerry and Nick were truly professional; I had them install an Anker Solix home backup system and they were clear about expectations, they were highly responsive and adapted to changes during the install, and they came back a few days later to do further testing to ensure the system was running properly. Gerry and his team did a big job at my house recently. Gerry came out for a site visit first, and he immediately felt like someone I would trust to have working on my house- he first took the time to tell me about his company and his training, which I appreciated. On our walk-through he listened to all of my concerns/past electrical issues that needed addressing, and then talked through ideas of how to problem-solve some of the trickier components of the work. When he left, I was already confident that his company would be the right choice, but when I got his estimate and saw that he also had the best price compared to the other quotes I'd received, I booked him immediately. When the team came out on the appointed day, they were well-prepared and operated smoothly as a unit. They kept every area very clean, and though it was in the contract that some drywall repair may be needed (which I was prepared for), the whole job was done with such precision that all cuts were perfectly sized, no repairs needed. They not only got everything on my lengthy to-do list completed in great time, but even took care of a couple of small extra things at no added charge. On top of all of this, the entire team- including Melissa in the office- are responsive to questions and friendly. Gerryn energy is a gem and I lucked out finding them. Backstory: The electricity in one part of my house went out and resetting the breaker multiple times didn't do anything. The light switches and electrical outlets were all out. I panicked initially and went with another company (not Gerryn) that charged me hundreds for a guy come test the switches/plugs in that room, say "yeah, it's not working," and quote me thousands if I wanted to fix it. A learning experience! After that, I did some research and saw glowing reviews about Gerryn and reached out.
