They only did what the property management did, and then they said it came back negative, so we got a $1500 bill. Be very careful when using this company we never approved for any of the things that they did and yet we got a $1500 bill. And yet we still know there is mold, but they will not do a swap test cause the property management won't allow it.

My wife and I are buying our first home which is a new build by a reputable company. We debated whether we needed to pay for an inspector, and my god would I pay it over and over again now. Shawn, who is the owner and primary home inspector is incredible. He arrived early, was very polite in introductions, gave my wife and I a quick 5 minute presentation on what he is looking for and what comes with the inspection, and to top it off, he gave us a homemade candle as a house warming gift. Another factor that really made this worth the price was the fact that House masters has an app that allows you to view your report, upload documents and photos for anything you need, provides you with a schedule to perform maintenance items on your house, store your paint codes, user manuals, etc... No more junk drawer or garage full of manuals! Nevertheless, the inspection itself was beyond worth it! After all said and done, Shawn provided a 244 page inspection report!?!? WTF! 244 pages? How did he do this inspection in the evening, and have this entire report done and available before I woke up! The man is a master of his craft. Shawn found a broken truss in the attic, a cracked window, an AC unit that was performing in some vents as it should have been, cracks in the exterior stucco, door frames and windows not sealed properly which would result in less energy efficiency, kitchen cabinet chips and functionality issues, tested all appliances, checked every pipe, etc.... this man did it all! The buyers raised a concern about a water stain on the garage ceiling. After notifying the appropriate parties (Travelers and American Home Shield), we had both PuroClean and Advanced Home Services come out. Thankfully, both confirmed there were no active leaks, and we were good to move forward with drywall repairs. Even after involving both sets of realtors, the buyers started to get cold feet, expressing concerns about potential mold. This is despite their home inspection confirming there was no mold on the report (something we found out from our realtor). I searched "mold inspection" here on Yelp and found this company. I called to ask about pricing and availability and was pleasantly surprised. Despite some unfortunate setbacks, scheduling became an issue; however, that was able to resolved. Oliver came by while there was still a 4x4 hole in our garage ceiling. He did a thorough inspection of the plumbing. The result? No mold. And even better, no charge. I had a pipe leak WITHIN MY WALL! I was totally freaked out as nothing like this ever happened to…read moreme before. I called a trusted friend who is a project manager for a major homebuilder & he referred Ian Simon, owner to me. Ian even returned my call on Easter Sunday & promptly scheduled an appointment to assess the situation. Ian & his son, Kasey found the leak, cut the drywall do everything could dry out & the plumber could fix the leak. After the repair they came back to inspect that there was no residual moisture or mold. Everything was dry, clean, mold free. They did a great job at a very reasonable price! I would recommend them without hesitation. I also had them clean out my dryer vent. They do a variety of clean ups including air vents etc. I was given a final Inspection report to keep with my records of the repair.
