I had a pipe leak WITHIN MY WALL! I was totally freaked out as nothing like this ever happened to me before. I called a trusted friend who is a project manager for a major homebuilder & he referred Ian Simon, owner to me. Ian even returned my call on Easter Sunday & promptly scheduled an appointment to assess the situation. Ian & his son, Kasey found the leak, cut the drywall do everything could dry out & the plumber could fix the leak. After the repair they came back to inspect that there was no residual moisture or mold. Everything was dry, clean, mold free. They did a great job at a very reasonable price! I would recommend them without hesitation. I also had them clean out my dryer vent. After several failed attempts to make an appointment with other companies Ian answered the phone and set up an appointment for us when it was convenient They showed up exactly when when the appointment was set and started working on the vents. When the camera showed a completely clean tunnel he d advised me there was not going to be a charge for the service because there is nothing there to do. BEST Remediation Service I could've asked for, allow me to elaborate. I was selling my condo and wanted to be sure it was 100% before closing the deal. It started feeling more humid and perhaps smelled a bit odd near my kitchen sink, but couldn't place a finger on why that was. I poked around a bit under the sink and little did I discover what looked like a invasion of fungi growing and changing the color of everything under there... of course I assumed it was mold and got on the phone immediately. I looked at a few different contractors but wasn't sure what I was looking for so had to ask a lot of questions. Most places I spoke to treated me like a nuisance when I asked my questions and got me worried about resolving the issue in a timely fashion. When I finally got to speaking with L&K's Ian Simon, my entire demeanor changed about the situation. He went through every question I had and was very knowledgeable on any detail I wanted to discuss. He explained pricing, inspection, and the whole process without making me feel like I wasn't worth his time. From the onset, the organization's commitment to customer service and responsiveness was certainly welcomed. I was performing a home inspection at the same time a technician from L&K was there, who was performing a mold inspection. I overheard him talking to the home owner about the possibility of mold in the home. The guy was super professional and I actually learned quite a bit just from eavesdropping in on the conversation. I asked the technician if he could show me the areas that he tested and why. He taught me quite a bit about indications of what to look for and how to identify if there is mold. I had a leak in my down stairs bathroom which had flooded in side my walls they were very fast about coming to do it and made sure all my needs were met because my son is allergic to dust after they were done the cuts where they did the tear out were precise and there was not one speck of dust. We moved to a home in NV a few weeks ago and needed the air ducts cleaned in our home. We sceduled an appointment with this company last week for 11 am on Monday October 28th. We got a call at 7:35 am that he would be here at 8 am. My husband answewred the phone and said the appointment was scheduled for sometime between 11 am and 1 pm. He said "No, it was for 8 am." No ........We have never ever schedulaed any service appointment for 8 am. He said he had someone else scheduled for that time and we would have to reschedule. We rescheduled for Wednesday Oct 30 with an arrival window of 2-4 pm. We arrived home at 1:30 pm for our 2-4 appointment window to find two calls on our answering machine from this service. The first was saying he had cancellations and he could come earlier if we like. The second call was at 1 pm saying and I quote "he was "confirming" the 2-4 arrival time and to call back if we needed to change the time. We waited, and waited, and no one was showing so we called him to make sure he was coming. He said "No he wasn;'t coming because he called twice and both calls went to voicewmail;. I said "that's because we were't home to take the call and arrived back home in plenty of time for our scheduled appointment between 2-4. It was now a little after 3 and he said he wasn't coming and we would need to reschedule AGAIN.. I argued that we had a "scheduled appointment between 2-4." He said I should have "answered the phone when he called." I again said we weren't here to answer the phone and had a shedulaed time for him to arrive and do the cleaning. and were here in plenty of time for the sceduled appointment. HE scheduled the TIME. He said itr was an hour trip to get to my house and would not be coming as scheduled becaiuse we did NOT answer our phone.I said we have an answering machione to answer the phone when we are not at home. My home phone is a LANDLINE..... not a cellphone, so there was no way to know he called until I arrived home. Nope ...hje was not going to honor the second scheduled appointment either. His office is 25 minutes from here acording to google maps. He said if we weren't good with rescheduling AGAIN ....we could go elsewhere. I said fine and told hiom I would be writing this review to whichj he responded with a laugh saying he didnt do the work so I can't leave a review. It was apparent that this man wants to do things when HE feels ike it instead of honoring the times he sets up with his clients. HE changed the times he set up....... not once but TWICE and then blamed us both times. He couldn I would nopt recommend this service under any circumstances. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They were subcontracted by management at my apartment complex, but based off of reviews here, I wouldn't have gotten a heads up either way, Was told by management early on MONDAY MORNING that this company would show up on Tuesday. I work, so I said they had permission to enter, but since I don't like people doing that, I still got off work early to try and check things out. Came home, no one here. Left to pick up my daughter, was back within 15 minutes and found a card on my door, saying they would come the next day in the afternoon (Wednesday) and to call them. I called, no exaggeration, 7 times. I wasn't even able to leave a message because an automated response came up saying, "The person you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time." The times I called were between 2 pm and 7 pm. Wednesday came and went with no one showing up to clean the air ducts. Thursday afternoon I called management at the apartment complex (Summerhill Pointe- Managment is either completely inadequate, lazy, or without any mental capacity, my guess is all three, NEVER MOVE HERE) and was angry because BLACK DEBRIS had been coming out of the vents from my A/C for about 6 weeks. They tried telling me L & K Environmental Services never serviced my apartment because "someone was napping." NO ONE WAS HOME!!! I had to say it THREE TIMES. NO ONE WAS HOME!!! NO ONE WAS HOME!!! I went out of town for a few days. I left Thursday afternoon, came back late Saturday night. There were white chunks on the floor in the Master bedroom. They didn't clean up after themselves or I guess they didn't use shoe covers like I asked. I'd put my money on the latter seeing as how someone took a shit in my master bathroom and didn't flush. And finally, the cherry on top of ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS SERVICE- the filter was left on the floor in the living room, the vent to the A/C was left open. How is cleaning the air ducts your ONLY JOB and you don't put the filter on or shut the main vent? Oh, and guess what? When I called the number on the card just before midnight, someone answered, but call seven times during business hours, and you won't get an answer. read more

Better late then never! I want to thank Ian from L&K for hooking me up on Christmas eve for cleaning out my dryer vent. He could've easily pushed me off to a later date due to the holidays, but he understood my situation. Having a house full of family members from out of state and only having one dryer for everyone to use was a time consuming situation, he came out immediately to clean out my vent that was causing my dryer not to dry our clothes. After 2 hours he managed to fix my problem, even removed a bird nest from my vent! I'm definitely gonna call him to do the rest of my ductwork on my house soon! read more

I called this company on a recommendation from a friend to clean the ductwork and vents in our house. Kasey is such a nice guy as was they guy helping him. They were very informative and personable and did a great job. They even vacuumed up when they were finished! I'm very happy with the service they provided and will call them in a few years when the ducts need another cleaning. read more
