The buyers raised a concern about a water stain on the garage ceiling. After notifying the appropriate parties (Travelers and American Home Shield), we had both PuroClean and Advanced Home Services come out. Thankfully, both confirmed there were no active leaks, and we were good to move forward with drywall repairs. Even after involving both sets of realtors, the buyers started to get cold feet, expressing concerns about potential mold. This is despite their home inspection confirming there was no mold on the report (something we found out from our realtor). I searched "mold inspection" here on Yelp and found this company. I called to ask about pricing and availability and was pleasantly surprised. Despite some unfortunate setbacks, scheduling became an issue; however, that was able to resolved. Oliver came by while there was still a 4x4 hole in our garage ceiling. He did a thorough inspection of the plumbing. The result? No mold. And even better, no charge. My son noticed some black powdery residue on our door hinges and we were concerned if it's mold. I reached out to Mold Eliminators and spoke to Oliver. He asked me to take a picture of the area and text him, after which he promptly called me back to tell me it was not mold and just oil and other residue from the door hinges with dust . To start, I usually never write reviews and have only done so a couple times in my life however the service I received from this company, especially Oliver was so far above any standard I ever expected that I had to. Oliver was a god send for me and my family. We got into a very unfortunate situation with a new house we bought that had a bunch of mold below that carpet we didn't see and couldn't have detected. This could have turned our whole house buy upside down but Oliver literally saved the day. The Mold Eliminators were a God send. I called them and told Oliver my flood problem. He was very understanding and fair. The owner Craig came over that day on a Sunday! The owner was rude and didn't listen. I told him the air needed to be tested and you can smell the mold coming out of the furnace. He said if he came out he would remove a base board that I might not need air testing. Okay there are mold spores in the furnace and duct work and you can smell it. What part of air testing doesn't he understand? I told him HOW it got in to the furnace because a floor was left wet for a week. When the floor was lifted it took 5 days to dry it and there were billions of mold spores the smell was noxious. It's not how did it get in the furnace it's how didn't it? The other people who left the negative reviews, read what he did, sound just like the person I talked to on the phone. Our back room flooded and I called Craig. He came right over, Sucked up all the water, pulled up the carpets and brought in big fans to dry everything out. A coulple of days later he sent a crew out to replace all of the water damaged sheet rock, painted it and it looked like nothing had happened. I was so grateful. read more

I was referred to Mold Eliminators from another agent at my brokerage. My clients closed on a home a month ago and it was discovered during a renovation project that there was mold in the bathroom. Not only did mold eliminators come out on a Saturday (by the way not during their business hours) but they were able to put peace of mind to my buyer that the mold could be remediated and removed correctly. My buyers had another mold company come out and they were trying to charge her $900 just to tell her it was mold. Craig and Oliver and their team at mold eliminators really knows their stuff. I had so much questions about mold and was so educated about the process of removing it and also the process of filing claims with home insurance. Confidence in this company is completely lost. Craig came out in June and did an inspection and said he did not feel like there was a mold issue..he did not use any equipment, he did not do any type of testing, he just looked at my shower and said he did not feel there was an issue. After several rounds with the property manager, a tile repairman was sent from a different company who started to remove tiles and said he had to stop because there is DEFINITELY evidence of mold. He called his company who again contacted this company. Craig called me again to set an appointment but was confused because he could not find any photo's or write up from the last time he was here??? Really? He came out again and just used his eyes no equipment of any kind and clearly said there was mold and the seats in showers were notorious for mold. He said the shower needed to be sealed off and completely removed and once they clean everything up they would be able to see if there was anymore mold anywhere on the wall going into the closet. After waiting a few days and not hearing anything I called the maintenance company that referred this company and they said the report they got was that there was not any mold and everything was ok??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? He said one thing to my face and then told the other company there was no mold???? I talked to the property management company and they shared my concerns of Craig telling me one thing at my property and then uploading something completely different. They were also concerned that no equipment to check or detect mold was used, only a quick glance, a picture and then he was gone. Found mold in my apartment. Oliver from Mirage Building Management helped me through every issue related to me mold problem from inspection, to moving , to my legal concerns. He then walked the landlord and owners of adjacent units through proper steps to irradiate and handle the mold with insurance. Then he wrote a detailed report explaining the cause and exposure and a detailed irradiation plan for the mold. I couldn't find the source of a smell in my kitchen but I knew something was wrong . Oliver came over and discovered my dishwasher was leaking towards the back and soaking the cabinets & outer wall of my kitchen with every wash . It was forming Mold which was causing the smell . He sat there as I cried , and talked me through the process and ensured me it will be ok and can be fixed with them start to finish. He had his crew out the next day to to remediate the dangerous mold so me and my son would not be breathing it anymore . Enrique and Javier did the remediation and demo very quickly . Each visit they explained what they would be doing and approximately how long it would take and always cleaned up to took the remains out at the end of the end of every day. They even laid down plastic from the door to the kitchen to ensure everything stayed as clean as possible . I felt comfortable with them in my home as they were courteous and professional. We had a small leak from a newly installed dishwasher over a 3 week period. This leak caused extensive mold damage to the kitchen cabinets, walls and dining room. I called Mold Eliminators and Oliver was right out and left an air scrubber and explained there would be no charge for it even if we didn't end up using them, he just wanted to make sure we would be OK because I have severe asthma. that sealed the deal for me! In July we called out Mold Eliminators to have them perform their free in-home inspection for mold. We found mold in our HVAC duct work and Craig was very helpful in first identifying the problem and then getting a bid together. His team Bill, Oliver and the men were out the following day and removed the mold and within a few days we were back in business. The price was very fair. Being my first time dealing with a leak issue both Ben and Oliver made it easy to understand . The whole staff is very helpful and friendly. I called Mold Eliminators and Oliver came to asses the amount of water damage and mold I had behind a cabinet. Where most contractors told me I needed anywhere from 2k - 4K worth of work, Oliver was the first person to honestly assess the damage and inform me that these estimates were wildly wrong for the true scope of work. Not one contractor bothered to look into the wall and really examine the mold. Most barely glanced at the problem before sending me a huge price tag for the estimate. Oliver actually placed a camera in the wall and confirmed there was no growth in that area and the mold levels were no where near what we'd anticipated.
