But Cody and Chris are by far the best guys for moving you can find. They are quick, efficient, professional, nice and most of all great guys. If you need movers please hire these guys. Had my second move with Safe Responsible Movers this week. Great price, easy to set everything up (Chris responds over email regularly throughout the day), and very nice and experienced movers. I asked them to meet me at a friend's house first to pick up my bed that was being stored there, and we got there we weren't able to get the bed because of a family emergency. So we finished the rest of my move and then they offered to move my bed later in the week free of charge once I was able to get it! These guys were terrific. They communicated promptly via email and provided all of the essential information. When they were stuck in traffic on the way to our place, they called ahead and let us know of the delay. As for the move itself, they were extraordinarily efficient yet also careful and respectful of our belongings. They moved all of our stuff incredibly quickly and I never saw them take a break or even slow down. They moved our entire 1 bedroom apartment in only 2.25 hours including the 15 minute drive between our places. The charge was so reasonable that I felt bad paying them the billed total - we tried to supplement with generous tips. I worked 2 summers for a reputable moving company and I think that these guys did a faster, better, job than any outfit I have ever seen. I can only sing their praises. Chris and his team moved us from a third-floor North End apartment with notoriously narrow stairwells to a second-floor condo in Roslindale during a torrential downpour. In addition to the rain, it was also incredibly humid, but these guys did not let that slow them down. They were quick, careful, and friendly from beginning to end, finishing in about three hours. WooHoo! As good as I could have imaged. Chris et al where fast, efficient and extremely organized. On entering my recently unloaded new condo, a friend remarked about how organized and the neat the boxes were and, more importantly, they were all stacked right side up! Aaron and Chris where timely and very supportive when glitches in the move happened at the last moment....Instead of moving directly into my condo, SRMover's had to unload everything (after dark) into a garage. AND they had sent an extra mover but didn't charge any extra. i was asked where i wanted each item to be placed, what was fragile, and if there was anything else they could do for me before they left. i will continue to use them for every move. read more

They are always very responsive in getting the quote back and confirming an appointment. They were also flexibility in accommodating any changes when I needed one. The actual move went very smoothly. My best moving experience ever. My husband and I hired Safe Responsible Movers to move us out of a two story three-bedroom home to a third floor walkup three-bedroom home. The entire experience was great, from the accurate and quick quote service to booking confirmation to the actual move. Three young men showed up (don't be fooled by the hipster appearance) and were very polite, punctual, conscientious and efficient. We have several pieces of large furniture and a lot of books, and our movers did the entire move in less than 5 hours! That included some furniture assembly/disassembly, which they did a great job with. They were very careful with all of our things, even pointing out ahead of time a couple scratches and loose things so that we knew what the condition was prior to moving. We trusted them immediately and we were essentially superfluous for the entire move other than occasionally pointing out to them where to put something. Honestly, the most pleasant moving experience we've ever had - we don't plan to move any time soon but would hire these guys in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone. I wanted to like this company and wanted to give them my money so I filled out the form on their website to get a quote. After not getting a response in 24 hours, I decided to call and leave a message requesting pricing iformation. Another day went by. I called again and still got their voice mail. I figured it was a slow time of year for movers being that it is mid-February. I informed this company that my move date was flexible but never was contacted. I waited three business days and held off moving to wait to hear back from them, but heard nothing back. If a company is on vacation or doesn't operate in the winter it is useful to add information to the website or voice message. I ended up calling another company with equally great reviews called Anton's Movers and was able to speak to someone immediately, was provided with an estimate, and hired them on the spot after going through their simple booking page online. read more
