The changing area was clean and well-stocked with robes, socks, slippers, and a headband to prep for the cold. The cryotherapy chamber was a unique experience, they even let me pick a song to play while I "froze my buns off" (I chose Beyoncé, of course). It was two minutes of exhilarating, freezing air that was actually kind of fun in a weird way! And a staff member was with me the entire time. I might go back and try some of their other amenities.

I found the floor to be super slippery. And someone like me, i have poor balancing due to a brain surgery years ago... But ya, the floor was super slick, no grip on the ground, just tile like. There was a mat, but it was a joke, really thin, and did not grip let alone didnt help. so lets get into the spa, aaawww! Well thats what i was hoping for, my ass hit the bottom of the spa, Now Ive been to 3 different spas, and all of them were deeper then this one. That and there is soooo much salt in there you'll float. Salt was there but stuck to the bottom , with my bottom... lol.. It ruined the experience for us, I wasnt the only one complaining about this. But needless to say our experience wasn't that relaxing, and fear for my life walking around on the slik was a thing... :-(

I walked in with so much tension in my neck, shoulders and back and it's safe to say that pain is gone. My initial appointment started with Alex performing an assessment from head to toe. He starts by focusing on the soft tissues and performing small movements with the surrounding muscles. This is probably the longest part of the initial assessment because he is able to gage on what areas need the most focus because they are the most tight. He then releases those areas and while it sounds scary (cracking here and there), you feel an instant relief that is so riveting! I would say a session with Alex is so much better than a massage because he actually focuses on the troubled areas and you immediately feel better after, versus a massage is just a temporary relief. Alex is very personable and knowledgeable about his line of work. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for an adjustment or even an assessment to see if you need his services. It recently flared up to the point where I wake up in pain every night. Doctors basically said to rest and use ibuprofen and offered no long term solution. I was on the fence about seeing a chiropractor as I have had mixed experiences in the past. A quick search led me to Performance-House and Dr. Alex. He listened to my concerns over the phone and in-person, and assured me that I would leave with immediate relief and a plan for long-term, permanent recovery. Then came the appt. This was the best experience ever! Dr. Alex assessed my pain points and range of motion, and got right to it with soft tissue work. This was better than relief I have felt from any professional masseuse. He pinpointed the areas of concern and applied the perfect amount of pressure along with muscle and limb manipulation. I can't say enough about this part of the appt. The adjustments were perfect as well. My back has never cracked like that and I felt immediate relief. Usually that is where it ends at a chiropractor. Nope! Dr. Alex genuinely cares about long-term, permanent solutions to chronic issues. We then went over to the immaculately clean gym and he showed me several exercises that will strengthen the areas of concern and promote balance to my musculoskeletal system.
