Crossroads is an incredible brand new storage location accommodating motor-homes, boats, vehicles…read moreand many other storage needs. We visited the facility last week and were truly blown away by all the features and the exceptional customer service. They have lots of enclosed units in a variety of sizes, with the largest big enough to store our 45-foot motor-home. The enclosed units have temperature control and their own electrical panels along with coded access. There are also canopy options, which have electrical hook-ups AND fire suppression systems. And the entire facility is surrounded by a high wall, security cameras and storm drainage. In fact, we learned the entire facility has been built to withstand severe weather. Lastly, the owners are wonderful (which was mirrored by the other customers we met last week) - this is a family owned business and you can tell their genuine customer service and communications come from the heart AND the sincere desire to be successful by way of providing a great storage option with excellent service. Pricing options give real value for money and with no flexing. And we were told we can use the wash bay for free. We researched lots of places in the surrounding area and we would absolutely state this is the best option by far. In fact, we've not seen anything like it anywhere. 10/10. On the door: a six-paragraph manifesto, taped up like scripture. She ignored me completely -- until I made eye contact through the window like a horror movie jump scare. I asked ONE simple question: "May I see the unit I reserved to make sure it fits my needs, and is the truck available?" Instead of answering, she got immediately combative -- like I'd asked her to donate a kidney. She pointed to the door-essay like it was gospel and acted like I was the one causing a problem. So, without a word, I turned and left. That's when she descended on me like a vulture starved for conflict. She stormed out, yelling: "Oh, so you're just going to leave like that?!" Yes. Yes, I was. UNTIL... I got in my car and she suddenly switched into parking lot investigator mode, accusing me of damaging their sacred asphalt. Claimed I'd been warned the truck wasn't available. I told her -- calmly -- this was my first time there, and there were no cones, no tape, no signs at the entrance I used. So she called me a liar. So I hit RECORD. I filmed where I entered, the untouched asphalt, and her scrambling to throw up barricades after the fact -- trying to create a scene that didn't exist before I arrived. She wasn't just unprofessional. She was hostile, dishonest, and clearly trying to cover her tracks. And I have photos and video to prove it. If this is who you trust to represent your business, you're telling customers exactly how little you care. Fire her, or own it. If she's still employed next week, I'll assume this place hires based on chaos and attitude. SHOUT OUT TO A REAL BUSINESS: Public Storage 11995 State Rd 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913 (941) 259-4534 I got a 10'x20' unit (200 sq. ft.) for $40 less, less than a mile away, and with actual customer service -- not an episode of Parking Lot Psychosis.
