I…read morebrought in a Vossen HF-5 (Matte Gunmetal) for a curb rash repair, and it was a disaster from start to finish. Technical Failure: They failed the color match twice. They used a satin finish that didn't match the finish of my other wheels. The tech actually claimed he "matched the center cap," which is a different material and color than the wheel face, and told me the paint "needed time in the sun" to change texture. Safety Issue: After the second attempt, the paint chipped immediately, causing a leaky tire. When I called to report this, the receptionist said chipping paint wouldn't cause a leak, which isn't accurate when the chip is on the bead seat. Avoidance & Dishonesty: I called on Monday and was told the manager, Sylvester, would call me back. I waited a full day and never heard a word. I eventually had to call corporate just to get the GM Sal's number to get any movement. The Interaction: When I finally went in for a refund, I ended up speaking directly to Sylvester. He claimed he never called me back because he was "working nights," even though the staff had confirmed he was on-site during the day when I originally called. I accepted the refund because I no longer trust this shop's honesty or technical ability. If you have a high-end vehicle or aftermarket wheels, save yourself the headache and go to a specialist who actually knows what they are doing.

My 2009 BMW 328i convertible had a dented and cracked front wheel. The RF tire needed new air every…read morefew days. Jay's has individual prices for dents and cracks. The manager (perhaps Jay) quoted a price that was not much greater than either separate service. Jay's stated my repair immediately. I was there less than an hour. I walked the neighborhood during the hour (magnificent, historic trees, well worth seeing). Fellow customers were driving a Mercedes and a Bentley (ie, upscale clientele). At the end of the hour, the pretty receptionist was friendly. She gave me a written guarantee that I expected to use within the next few days. To my surprise and delight, the wheel has held its air for a month. No guarantee needed. What would I do differently? My wheel does have a rash. Somehow, I expected the crack and dent repairs to include cosmetic rehabilitation and perhaps even a sponge bath. If I had a do over, I would ask Jay's for the additional cost of curb-rash repair and a thorough cleaning.

We spent $20 dollar to have the tire looked at and put back on the car. Next the tire got a spilt in it for no reason, next the front tire was Rubbing up against the inner fender of the car and lastly they said I cause the spilt in the tire and my warranty didn't over it because I ran over something which cause the cut on the side of the tire right below the rim and it wasn't in the side of the tire went I took it to them to look at. Every time I took my car back to this shop they came up with so many SORRY EXCUSES!!!!. From Now on I will give my business to someone that don't think I am out to get something for nothing and that is willing to help me instead of second guessing my Motive. They never offer to pay me the $20 dollars back for the tire going flat no reason, they never offer me anything but excuses, after excuse.Also I had problem with one of the rims and they said they order the part and it took them a whole month to fix that. When I got the rims, I notice the problem the next day and I took it back to them right away. I asked can I just get a new one and the assure me that they could do they!!!! But they could order me a part. Like I said it took a whole month. They have the worst customer service when it come to helping there customer and they don't even try to resolved the problem in a timely manner.
