The company had to jump through a lot of hoops with the condo office, adding the condos to their ins policy, and providing documentation of their ins and of Iris' master plumber license. And these old condos were built so there is not a main water cut-off for each unit, so the complex only allows plumbing work that needs water cut off to the unit during two short windows of time during the week, since it affects a whole group of units, so that was another hoop the plumbing company had to jump through. Iris ending up needing to replace two of the water supply lines as well. She is also helping us find replacement trim kits for our tub/shower fixtures. I didn't realize it was so hard to find the proper replacement for such old fixtures (that aren't marked with a manufacturer!) I know Iris and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of League City will come through for us and solve this issue for us as well! Highly recommended. A little pricier than I thought it would be, but considering all of the hoops they had to jump through, probably justified. And they do top notch work, for sure!

Instead of respecting the decision, he sent a link to an article and then the words "You're right. Nothing in your water." The shift in tone once I declined was dismissive and unprofessional. I also got the strong impression the interaction would have been handled differently if my husband had been the point of contact. Now we won't ever use your company. Do your own research and get multiple opinions before moving forward with any system.

Sent a email about issues and water never getting tested before or after install.... Important to know if you actually need system or additional things to fix issues. The next day I get a email about service plans... lol. I'm thinking WTF... not even finished with job and trying to get more. Sent email with disappointment and frustration with the whole experience. Guess what? I get a call, and all that is said is "that was a system generated email for all new installs".... and appt.for a week from today. No apology for all the actual issues and what can we do to make it right and you happy. It seems this is the way of the world now, pay for product or service and it doesn't matter to company if you get what you paid for or should have gotten. Great experience! A technician, Jordan, came out to assess our system and within an hour we had…read morefinancial approval and a scheduled installation appointment same day! It was a very straightforward and easy process. Jordan advised on a system that would best suit our needs and he didn't try to up sale everything. We were able to get a low down payment and low monthly payment. There were also many perks for customers throughout the first year and the upkeep prices were more than reasonable. Jordan also gave us information about our options should we move within Texas or out of state. The installation technician, Oscar, arrived with our system later in the evening. Again very efficient work, it didn't take even an hour for Oscar to install everything. Oscar even made it look very neat under our sink, with hiding tubes yet being able to inform us of how those tubes connect and work to provide us with clean water. Oscar explained what to do in emergency situations and advised on when we should give Puragain a call for routine maintenance. He even wrote out instructions for flushing the system before we would be able to use it. I appreciated so much the awesome customer service, patience he showed and care he showed. We scheduled our first filter change after our system started having issues with calcium deposits…read morein the sink, dishwasher, bath fixture and toilets. It seems that the basic set of filters in the system were not enough to overcome minerals in our water. So our appointment today was to change the filters. Oscar was very knowledgeable in explaining that the basic filters were not going to resolve our issues. He showed us the old filters that were replaced. We opted for the premium filter package. Hopefully he stays with the company because he knows the products well and made recommendations to resolve our water issues. Although we paid a bit more for the filters this time around we hope it improves the quality water. One thing the company can improve on is to send their customers a reminder to schedule an annual filter change and inspection. Additionally, during the initial system installation we should have been advised that the system came with only the basic set of filters.
