All of our traveling in December resulted in a cracked windshield. I am at the local Safelite getting it repaired. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. When I arrived I was told it would take about an hour to repair. They have free coffee and free Wi-Fi so I opted to wait. Nice clean waiting room and bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly. We stopped to get a windshield chip filled. There were three guys in the shop. No business. Said they could not work because their Manager was incapacitated and could not do a work order. Who has 3 employees sit around and do nothing!!! They were nice And came out and inspected the chip. Said it should Not spread. But would have been nice to have it repaired. read more

Very conveniently for us they came to our house and did the work Unfortunately something went a little wrong and the new one cracked the next day. They replaced a rear windshield but did not properly clear the glass from the lift gate. Suddenly the lift gate stopped working, so we went to the dealership to get it fixed, only to find out that it was just the glass that had to be cleared. Safelite refused to pay the repair bill; told us we should have come to them to get it fixed... but we didn't know it was their crappy job that caused the issue to begin with, so we understandably had gone to the dealership instead. read more

Windshield leaks. Can't get a hold of anyone. They refuse to talk to you on the phone. Phone number is only a bot that directs you ONLY to NEW orders. If you need to get your leaking windshield replaced that they already replaced once barely a month before, there is no way to get a hold of anyone! Not by phone or on the website. I guess they feel that their work is so good that no one will be coming back..........NOT! Once they fix my leaking windshield. NEVER AGAIN will i use this company. ALL because of their lack of customer service and fondness for phone bots. There is no way to get a person to talk to to fix a problem. They are apparently afraid to talk to customers! Spent over 45 minutes trying to get through to someone either by phone or via website. Both only take new orders. read more

My driver side window needed to be replaced. They told me to drop my car off before 5, arrived at 4:30 to the shop completely closed down. Once they repaired the window they said they would notify me. I called around 2pm and they said it had been done since 8am. Finally got my car back, I noticed a couple of items including my change jar gone. I will not be back. Unreliable and untrustworthy. read more

Good job on windshield replacement- 2nd one in about a month because of rocks thrown up on the interstate. It was really aggravating trying to call the local Safelite to see if the car was ready and having to go through a national call center apparently and endless phone tree for 5-10 minutes until I finally got the local office. read more

If I could choose zero stars, I would. My husband and I wanted to visit the in-laws in GA and on our first day there, a branch fell on the car and smashed the glass, warped the trunk, scratched up the paint etc etc. We had to drive three hours to this location as it was the nearest open Safelite and "got it fixed". I put that in quotation marks because they completely botched out car. The repairs came out to be $398 at Safelite and we left. We got to our local car shop and fixed up the car, repainted, etc. They notified us that water had been leaking into the trunk and Safelite FORGOT to put the gasket on. Additionally, glass was everywhere. They didn't clean a single thing up. So after getting the car fixed, getting it cleaned, and cleaning it myself because I'm a neat freak, I thought the glass was no longer an issue. We got this work done August 16th, 2021 and glass still rains down into the trunk. Now, our car didn't have a single light on when we got to Safelite and parked. The moment we turned the key, our tire light was on. We found a single nail tucked deep in the tire later on and I realized they costed us an additional $29.95 to patch it. And just today, the kicker here, I brought the car back to our local shop regarding a small leak in the trunk. Someone took a look at it and it turns out Safelite didn't do a damn thing right -- the window had to be removed because there was still a 1.5"-2" dent in the metal and the sealant between the glass and the body of the car wasn't done properly. That's $250. I have tried calling SIX different numbers to get in contact with Safelite and keep getting hung up on. I want my money refunded and a reimbursement for the work that had to be done to correct Safelite's incompetence. All $677.95 of it. This is so inexcusable. ETA: The store's reply is entirely laughable. I've been in contact with multiple representatives regarding this issue, using the executive service line (which seems to be the only number that works), and this location has not responded to a single phone call or email from the representatives I've spoken to! I'm stuck calling every day for an update and getting more and more irate at the blatant negligence of the Anderson, SC location. read more

BE AWARE, the shop is rude and the service is terrible. I scheduled service, dropped off the car then later was called and told that they broke the new glass and I would have to get in line behind other customers and wait for another appt. which was over a week later. This was there fault and would not service me sooner, I was told that this was just the way it is. read more

Terrible!!! My first appointment they called the day of & said their technician called in. My second appointment it was raining & they cancelled the day of. My third appointment no one ever called or showed up. My fifth appointment the technician broke my windshield wiper & the new windshield. I finally got a new windshield on my sixth appointment. I have always depended on Safelite to fix my glass. Yesterday Bradley came out and it started to rain on the poor guy. I was worried about him getting sick so I told him to let it be for another day when it's not raining. So another tech showed up this morning to do the repair. We used Safelite for a windshield replacement for our car.The first guy came out on time put in the windshield, a new one.It had a manufacture defect ,had ripples in it.We imediately noticed it after installer left.We called Safelite told them the problem and ,they imediatelly came back within a reasonable time to replace it with another new windshield.which was perfect and installed with perfection.WE highly recommend Safelite to anyone .If there is a problem, they are honest andwill make it right .Safelite even gave us a discount ,a partial refund for our trouble.You cant beat that!!!WE DO RECOMMEND SAFELITE!!! read more
