My windshield cracked in Sept 2022, I contacted insurance and they preferred Safelite so I chose them. Over the course of the last 6 months they have scheduled and no showed on 4 different times, plus two times of actually showing up with the wrong parts or not having all the parts required for the repair. When I call the office, a representative named Savannah appears to never remember previous conversations, even though we have talked for over 6 mos. She also will not address why there were no phone calls or emails to cancel any appointments no matter the reason. I have lost 6 days of work and still do not have my windshield replaced even though with every follow up phone call I am told we will address this and get your windshield repaired. I have never had this level of "not my problem" attitude from a company in all the times I have had to replace a windshield. Go elsewhere if you are in Athens GA area, this office is not organized and have no clue how to help you when they cannot meet your needs. read more

Had a glass repair and I think he did it too fast. I can still see spider veins from the inside. Tech says that's normal. Person at the office didn't really know. So, my options were too have the glass inspected by another technician and if he thinks it's bad , there's no do overs. Only option is to replace the glass. Seems like that's a catch twenty two. So now I have to ride around looking at cracks in the windshield. Good workmanship! read more

I wish I could give them no stars. Their technician left bits of broken glass all over the interior of my car. Then I called to get it cleaned and scheduled an appointment for the afternoon and then the same idiot who made the mess to begin with shows up at my house and starts beating on my door at 8:22am. Soap box time, and this is gonna be long. Safelite AutoGlass absolutely sucks. I'm not telling you what to do, but I will never have any dealings with them again. Absolute lying trash of a company. Originally field a glass claim for my windshield on 6/16. The earliest they could get out to replace my windshield was 7/1. Appointment was made for between 8am-1pm. Waited at home and didn't hear anything from them. At 11:30, I called them and they said a part that was needed didn't come in. Thanks for the phone call letting me know you assholes. They additionally tell me that I have to bring the car to them because the window has to be recalibrated, which means I have to drive over an hour to Buford and they are only open M-F. This after they already told me they would be coming to me. The other asshole involved in all of this is GEICO, which will no longer be my insurance company after this. I call them, and they set me up with another glass company 15 minutes from the house. That appointment was this morning, 5 weeks from the time of the claim. Arrive and more bs begins thanks to the assholes from Safelite. The windshield was delivered to the shop Monday evening. The shop got it Tuesday morning when they got there. The windshield was scratched and broken at the bottom of the windshield. Shop calls and Safelite was to come by and pick up the broken window and bring a good one. We'll the broken one was picked up, but the driver didn't drop off the new one. The shop had Safelite on speakerphone so I could hear the entire conversation. At first they said the new window was dropped off, which it wasn't. They looked into it more and the driver that picked up the broken window wasn't the same driver that dropped off the replacement. The drop off driver said he couldn't get in the gate to drop it off. Problem with that lie is there isn't a gate. So Safelite screwed it all up and then tried to lie about it. Don't know who at Safelite was lying, but either the brain dead lady in the phone or the driver was lying. Now I have to take a 3rd day off at my expense to get the damn window replaced. read more

Went on line and ordered on site replacement of a windshield. Received all kinds of notifications, tech coming, tech coming at this time , tech's name is... Only problem is the tech shows up and tells me they will not replace this particular windshield in the field. According to the website they do. According to the money I spent to have in done in the field they do. So now I have contacted Safe lite and want a refund. All they did was waste my time. So considering this I will have my windshield replace somewhere else, I don't like misleading advertising and being jerked around. I would not recommend this to anyone for any type of auto glass replacement. read more

The commercial says they send you a picture of the Tech they send out. Really!!!!!! I had a picture of the tech e-mailed to me before my appointment. But the only problem was that the person that come out was not the person's picture they had e-mailed me. I am glad that my Husband was here when the tech came out. That way he could deal with the tech not me. read more

I wish I could give them less then one star. Basicaly zero stars. They are horrible. The people that place your glass are nice but corporate doesn't know what they are doing. They have come to our home three times now and have gotten the freaking glass wrong everytime! We have even confirmed with them each time the car we have and nothing. We even spoke to management and that was pointless because they still didn't get anything resolved. We are still waiting on a stupid call from these flipping people to get our glass done and they haven't called yet and if you call they say we have to wait because they are waiting for a call from the car dealer to get the glass!!!! THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN ANYWHERE!! The sad thing is I mean worst service anywhere, even worse then calling a 1800 number and getting a none English speaking person with a very thick accent that you can't even understand because they are in a third world country!
