I know not the reason for the low reviews. Last fall rear view mirror was wobbly and they fixed it at no cost. The other day it fell from the windshield and I went by today and they glued it back on at no cost. And the courtesy and professionalism was very well both times. Run away from Safelite! Had a cracked windshield, they came out and switch it. Scratched the car with the tool they use to put the new window on. We didn't realize our mirror blind spot light stopped working due to the windshield. Brought it to a dealer for warranty fix and they ended up recalibrating it. They then pointed out that the windshield was so crooked that it won't take a calibration. Keeps rejecting it. We called Safelite to get it fixed and they said because the dealer recalibrated it, we voided their warranty. We could have it recalibrated 50 times by 50 other people and it still wouldn't work. The issue is how crooked they put the windshield on. It is criminal and I have a feeling we will get screwed. My wife also took pictures of the guy installing the new one just chatting it up with his buddy. From start to finish, horrible service. We have had several jobs done in the past over the years. They have gone down dramatically in quality and professionalism. $1,000 down the drain. read more

Received ( 0) the most horrible service from the cedar hill , Texas location was scheduled a home visit , the tech never showed up I live 7 mins away from the location . When I originally scheduled the appointment, I asked is there a specific time for arrival so that I could plan accordingly ? There front desk scheduling person advised there isn't and to just be available between 8am and 12 noon . I received a call 729am , i missed the call , when I called back no answer and no response at all ! No one from safelite has reached out and gave any explanation of any sort , it's officially 1:00 pm. I called the local location they stated they will only call once and then move along to the next appointment, Which I had no idea thats how they conduct buisness . I took off work and canceled plans on Saturday morning to have this completed before my summer trip starting Monday you all will receive the worst review for feedback from me and rest assured I will also be letting neighbors , friends , family know of the type of inconvenience service you all offer. read more

From start to finish - everything went fantastic! My Subaru Ascent eyesight was messing up because of a hairline crack on the windshield; Safelite replaced my windshield, calibrated the Eyesight system in an hour and a half. Shout out to Queenise at the front desk - a wonderful polite young woman, and the friendly and most polite young man who did all the work on my car - thank you!!!!! read more

We called Monday 8/4 ...to have our windshield attended to. They said their next available date for at-home repair would be Wednesday,... but that we could come into the Cedar Hill store tomorrow/Tues 8/5 to have it checked out and serviced. We arrived Tuesday, (greater by a non-eye contact, minimal communication younger woman, desk attendant) to have them proceed tell us it was not repairable, but could be replaced. & her next appointment was Tomorrow Thursday. I let her know we were told that we came to the cedar hill location (with 3 kids, taking time off work) specifically because they said they could service our vehicle today 8/5. Otherwise we would have just waited until the original Wed date the company initially offered on our first call. Why would I drive to cedar hill to have them just tell me to set up another day after the "consult??" After expressing my disgust with how the entire thing had been handled, I opted for the now next available at-home replacement on Thursday 8/6 sometime between 8a-12p. ...20 min later I received an email confirming my appt for Thursday 8/6. But it is not for in-home, it's for Cedar hill again, at 10a. I called customer service to clear up their mistake (again), only to be told the next available at-home service date would now be 8/14. They also were very unclear about insurance questions & expectations. I'm usually pretty lenient with posting this kind of stuff because, hey we all mess up... but this was a sh**-show that needed to be reported so others do t waste their time!!! Or can at least know what to expect. read more

I needed to get my Driver's side window replaced due to a crack in the glass that developed and Safelite replaced my window in a very timely manner. The Manager, Joe, greeted us as we arrived and explained to us the procedure in changing out the window. The wait time was under an hour and the Waiting Room was very clean w/plenty of tables and chairs for customers to wait for their vehicle. The Manager and Technicians are very professional and knowledgeable; answering any questions we had. I highly recommend the Cedar Hill Safelite Auto Glass for any vehicle that needs a window or windshield replaced. read more
