Recently had a vehicle done here and it was a huge regret! The time it had taken, multiple attempts to get it right was very unprofessional. Unfortunately speaking to the owner (Barry) didn't help the matter at all. The attempt by the workers was commendable but when the owner threw them under the bus I knew this wasn't the shop for me and my husband. I've owned multiple business & never done that to hard working men. If you can't fix the issue just say it. It was a helpless feeling on the guys faces. I DO NOT recommend this shop. We have had two accidents backing out of our garage. Joel and Frisco Paint & Body took care of my car both times. On our most recent incident, Joel was able to reuse the lower bumper cover (do know the exact name...but it is a long black part in the undercarriage of the car) and save me a couple hundred dollars from the original quote. I would have never known if he had not told me. I appreciate them being ethical about it and kept the customer in mind first. Hope I don't have to visit the body shop again, but if I do, Frisco Paint will be the only call we would make. read more

I can not recommend this business based on lack of customer service. I had a dent in my truck bed wall by the cab. All I wanted was someone to come look and give me some direction. They said I needed to schedule and appointment two weeks out just to look at it. I base all of my business on customer service first followed by quality. They are to busy or to lazy to walk out and look a potential customers car. Not worth my business or stars. read more

Replacing a piece of roof molding on my vehicle. Unfortunately, the replacement would need to be color-matched and painted. Visited Louis at Frisco Paint & Body. He really listened to what I needed, answered all of my questions, and offered multiple solutions. His priority was to save me money and not sell me on what I didn't need. That was impressive! I jokingly told Louis he should rename the shop to "Genius Paint & Body" because he had such great recommendations for my fix. Car was ready for me to pick up exactly when they said it would be available. Kept me informed as the work progressed. Car looked brand new when I picked it up. Frisco Paint and Body is not highly recommended because of the follo reasons: 1. they rarely answer the phones 2. they over-state the work that needs to be done, adding in items that are unnecessary 3. they refuse to work with certain insurance carriers 4. their website is misleading 5. they have a very small location and there are long wait times--nearly three month backlog. read more

I took my car in a month and a half ago and got a quote and they cancelled my appointment due to the ice storm and just called back to get in and they told me I was going to have to pay inflated prices because cost of goods went up. Didn't even act like they wanted my business cause they did not try to get me back in. I was fine with the pricing going up but the attitude from the first call with a woman and the rudeness from the second guy that called me back was not appropriate. I was in an accident in my 2017 Toyota pickup. My insurance company has Frisco Paint and Body as a "select" location. It is located on Main Street in Frisco, and the first impression is that it is not high tech like some of the other collision shops. True, they do not have much room. After reading some of the reviews I called Louis and made an appointment. They have been in this location for a long time, Bottom line - they did outstanding work. He stayed in communication with me, and honestly answered all of my questions. I was treated very well by everyone at this business. My truck is back to beautiful again. I cannot recommend Frisco Paint & Body enough! They really made it easy to have my car repaired. I did need to make an appointment (understandably) to have it checked initially. They quoted me a price that was a couple hundred less than another well reviewed body shop in Plano. ( I didn't even bother to check with a dealer for pricing. ) They ordered my part and called me when they were ready for drop off. After essentially a day and half they had my car repaired and were ready for me to pick it up before the Thanksgiving Holiday, looking great and freshly washed! The shop is small with a local staff that seems to really care about their business. The paperwork process was also very simple. Frisco Paint and Body initially told me that they could repair my car in a certain timeframe. However after making an appointment with them to provide an estimate they changed their earliest dates to a month and half out. It was very obvious to me that because my vehicle did not have enough damage and was still drive-able that they changed their estimated repair time. I would definitely recommend Frisco Paint & Body to anyone needing auto body work done. The prices were hundreds of dollars better than the dealerships and Service King. I was very happy with the friendliness and professionalism of the Molinar family - they took care of me and they will take care of you too! The only thing that was a minor pain was the parking as the shop is on a small lot. However, that is a very minor thing to deal with considering the quality of the work and the level of service Frisco Paint & Body provides! Took my vehicle here to get an estimate this morning and planned to schedule repairs. The estimator went out to write an estimate and came back to let me know that they had buffed out the damage and I was good to go. No charge - just sent me on my way with a Merry Christmas! While we very much like to support our local businesses, sometimes you can be skeptical because of the situation. In this case while skeptical we took the chance, especially since no surrounding body shops could fit us in till November. One major dealer/body shop wanted us to drop the car off and bill the insurance (for the minimum of a week) while they "worked our vehicle in". A BIG thanks to Frisco Paint and Body for making our Challenger SRT look as if it never happened!   Great local, family owned business that we took a chance with and are very happy we did! I wish we had taken before and after  pics. They did a paint less dent repair in 2 completely separate areas (one was on the body line/crease which is really difficult to do) and made it look like I never damaged the bumper and quarter panel at all. Completely paint less repair! Very reasonable in pricing as well, though it was an insurance claim the total cost was so close to our deductible that we chose to pay out of pocket.   They listened to our concerns, were honest about the problems that could arise with the type of repair we wanted them to do rather than what would normally be recommended. We did not want the bumper pulled and repainted and the fender pulled to be repaired and then repainted because we wanted the car kept in "original" condition if at all possible. We asked them to work miracles and they delivered with a 24 hour turnaround time to boot! While they are a small no frills shop, they have talented techs for sure. read more
