I recently had a fantastic experience with Gerber Collision. My 2016 Subaru was the victim of a hit and run and suffered a large amount of body damage. Gerber made the entire process incredibly simple. They worked directly with my insurance company, so I didn't have to submit the estimate, etc. Customer service was excellent, beginning with the appointment for my estimate. Communication was outstanding. Gerber kept me well informed and updated with text messages and phone calls. The repairs were completed ahead of the estimated completion date. I don't normally write reviews but feel like I have to because of how fantastic my experience was. My car was rear-ended and had to get fixed. The facility was extremely nice and clean, with coffee, and even a little kids play area. The lady at the front desk, Junea, deserves a raise. Best customer service I've had in a long time. My car was fixed in less than 3 days with updates every day. They even washed and vacuumed my car afterwards. Ironically enough, my rental car was rear-ended while my car was getting worked on. Junea helped me coordinate with the rental car company when she didn't have to. This is the only collision center to go too. read more

I dropped my car off for what their employee referred to as "relatively minor" repairs on approximately November 16, 2023. I was told at the time that the repairs should take a week or so. It's now January 8, 2024 and I don't have my car back yet. They were, for the first few weeks, giving me weekly updates where I was thanked for my patience & told how embarrassed they are at how long this is taking. Even this small positive has devolved into no calls, lots of excuses about all of their staffing problems, my calls to them are no longer being returned, and them telling me the car "should be ready as soon as today" (when they clearly know that it will not be ready). After all of the above, I decided to drop by their shop to see the car & progress first hand. Turns out the car is not even there. It's down the road at another mechanic for alignment work and the manager of Gerber (Randy?) has no real idea when the other shop will be done with my car, other than to say, "we just sent it over there.....it depends on how quickly they can get to it". A few minutes of discussion any my attempts to get a more clear indication as to when my car will be ready, all I was able to get from him is, "what would you like me to do?" (another clear blow off technique). As I said in my Google review, I will consider editing my review if/when this situation is made right. read more

Customer service only - Went in for a warranty estimate. They were early getting to my car and thorough with their description and estimate detail. Warranty company turned down coverage, so still working through that, but Gerber service was great. Will update if I get work done. They kept me updated throughout the process with not only phone calls, but text messages and emails with pictures throughout...seriously, who does that? These guys are great! Gerber Collision of Westfield IN will not provide any updates on the status of a $500.00 refund that is due me. It has now been over 30days since I pointed out their error and they have promised me on two different occasions that they would either call or email me with a status. Both times they never followed through to contact me. I'd be willing to bet that had I not made them aware of the overpayment, they would just keep it. Very unethical company to deal with. Clearly that don't care about customer service. This was the third repair I have had done with them and I will never go back again. I am also advising my Insurance company that they should never deal with or recommend this company again to their customers. read more

Really, really pleased with my visit! I was in a small fender bender prior to the holidays, and Gerber reached out immediately to schedule an appointment for me via an insurance claim, and had my car in and out of the shop in two days. Along the way, their team sent me text notifications and phone calls on the progress of my vehicle, and did a full diagnostic on my car to ensure nothing else was wrong prior to putting me back on the road. What really led me to leave a review, though, is that they vacuumed my car for me while it was in the shop, and returned my rental car for me! The service at this Gerber Collision is truly top notch! I got into a car wreck near this shop and had my car towed here after they had already closed. Unfortunately, I was on a road trip and more than 2 hours away from my house when the wreck occurred, so I had a friend drive me home and left my car at Gerber. After dealing with the insurance, I found out that my car was a write off. However, I hadn't completely cleared out my car when I left it, since I thought it would just be a repair and I'd be back to pick it up! I called Gerber and they were incredibly nice about the whole thing. I asked if they could check to see what was in my car, because I didn't know if it was worth driving a total of 4 hours to collect the items I had left behind. Erik and his team offered to mail me the contents of my car, including taking off my license plates that I wanted to keep (it was my first car!) and mailing those to me as well. All of this and they didn't even get to fix the car since it was totaled, and I had never met them since the tow truck dropped the car off after hours! That was truly above and beyond and really made my day. I can't speak to any car repairs, but I would absolutely recommend anyone to go here because the people are genuine and kind and working with them is stress-free. After having the unsettling experience of being in a car accident, it was so nice to be treated with such courtesy at Collision Cure Westfield! I was expecting a long wait and lots of paperwork, but there was none of that! I only waited a few minutes while they looked over the car and determined what needed to be done. Then they arranged for a rental car, drove me to the rental agency and I was good to go! They took care of everything with my insurance company and kept me informed of the progress of the repair. My car had extensive damage, but they had it done a couple days ahead of schedule and it looks great! I was pleasantly surprised that they vacuumed out the car and changed the oil at no charge, plus gave us a voucher for another oil change at a later date. The staff were completely professional and extremely courteous in every interaction I had with them. It is apparent that they make it their number 1 priority to please the customer. Poor repair job to my 2016 Odyssey after a hard front driver side hit,damaged wheel. tire, front bumper, fender, drivers side door, and hidden damage. After a weak of repairs, i got my van back and it sounded just as bad as it did after the drunk driver from Ohio hit it in Michigan. Gerber also put a very damaged tire back onto a new wheel. I complained. They ignored me until I kept calling the Nationwide Insurance Co. After a month they finally called to have their mechanic repace the strut. I paid for the tire and they never figured the reimbursement. After about a year the "alloy wheels all replaced by Gerber at the time of the accident were pealing and chipping.Then my steering wheel was vibrating and sharing at speeds above 50. I took the van to Honda. I was asked the history after their inspection as the mechanic thought the wheel was about to fall off on drivers side. Honda could not guarantee it would fix the problems but recommended replacement of the aftermarket parts Gerber used (900 dollars). This greatly improved the van and the steering.I have since contacted Gerber Westfield manager, Gerber Central Customer Care, and their Regional manager for assistance in making good on their guarantee. They continue to be concerned about insurance but have already been paid. They had not reimbursed my Honda cost of replacement of their defective or irregular parts nor the tire pro-rated or otherwise, nor did they offer to make good on alloy wheels that look bad after one short year. read more
