Had an appointment this Saturday to get my side window replaced. They wanted to charge me 75 dollar for window disposal fee. I called the shop and got a national agent. They got ime in touch with Danny. I told him that I had no window to dispose of and I didn't want to pay a 75 dollar fee for nothing. He then proceeded to tell me it was 50. Not 75. I told him I could screen shot the break down and send it to him. He says well It's 40 on my end. Absolute rip off. I knew that would happen on a Saturday. National guy couldn't help Me either. I used this place years ago and everything went great. Now. Don't take your vehicles there. read more

Chris Bell "store manager" wearing a master technician jacket refused to replace glass after making me drive over an hour to get here because he sent all his technicians home. Poorly temporarily wrapped my vehicle. I was sent a text message telling me they were ready for my appointment. He lied at first saying he couldn't replace the glass because he couldn't "recalibrate" the glass. Then he admitted he didn't have a technician and he was a manager so he couldn't do it, while wearing a master technician jacket. Will never come back and highly recommend going anywhere else but Safelite Auto Glass. read more

I recently had a rock strike my windshield sending a pretty serious crack right across the front. I contacted Safelite and from the initial contact to the last, the service couldn't have been better nor the customer service any friendlier. The young woman I spoke to listened, scheduled an appointment for 3 days later and followed up with reminders. The young man who came to our home on a cold and blustery winter day, replaced the windshield, recalibrated and synced the necessary in-dash technology for our BMW, took it for a test drive to verify the changes and was done in a little over an hour. He was friendly and smiling the entire time and even wiped out the inside of the car afterwards! Safelite's service could not have been any better. I wish all service companies were as excellent as Safelite. I would highly recommend them. read more

Can't call local office.. only 800# idiots!! The tech unnecessarily unplugged the OBDII connector (We have pass through mounted on it.. unplugging the GPS tracker on our college students vehicle-- setting off alarms on our phone-- and I'm in a crowded Dr's office!). Why do overly officious workers do things they shouldn't and then hide behind not being able to even contact them. NOT HAPPY AT ALL RIGHT NOW!! read more

I have used their mobile service and went to their shop. Nice bunch of guys, waiting room has a tv and if you are getting your windshield replaced there are a few places that will deliver food. They did a great job on my vehicle and I didn't notice any damage. read more

Not a chance I would use these guys again, firstly I had to get my rear glass replaced on a recent model suv, when the first tech showed up he was late and didnt seem to know what he was doing very well and installed a piece of glass that had scratches all over it. Next tech comes out to replace it again and while he seemed to know how to do the job, he also had scratched glass. Third tech comes out and is a complete amateur, he put in glass without scratches but manged to scratch my vehicle in three places and cut into the liftgate with a razor in another. The icing on the cake was when i got home to check out the extent of the scratches and opened the rear glass, the whole handle falls off in my hand! This guy had zero respect for my vehicle and must have took me for a complete fool. I've contacted their corporate office and am awaiting a response, if they cant fix this to my satisfaction Im doing a CC chargeback, never again will i trust these guys with anything. Work order number 1817-818771 is one of the many problem encounters. The manager Kevin has contacted me and seems to be dedicated to getting my vehicle cosmetic damage fixed, I've been told to get a repair estimate faxed to them and they will take care of it. My review will be updated if they make good on that promise. They have already fixed the handle that the previous tech stripped out. **another update, safelite has contacted me and my dealerships body shop and assumed responsibility for the damage. This is great news and is enough to get me to bump my review up a bit, every business has off days but it's how the mistakes are handled that sets a good company apart from a bad. Overall this hasn't been a great experience but they have at least made good on their promise to fix the issues which is more than I can say about many places. read more

If I could decline to leave any stars, I would. Windshield chip on 79 caused me to have to leave this shop and drive to Washington. It seemed more of a priority to continue her conversation, than to try and find an available tech, since she said there were no tools and/or techs and/or product on site. It was a few weeks ago, so I cannot recall verbatim what she said wasn't there. I was more concerned with the fact it was snowing, less than 30 degrees outside, and the front windshield of my 2016 Maxima had an addressable chip that would soon become a crack. Arranging and scheduling everything was one of the easiest processes I ever had to go through. Especially considering the depth of work that a windshield replacement is likely to take. I had to make one call to customer service regarding a question I had about insurance and a change to my original order and everything was completed easily with quick access to a human voice. I have used safelite 3 times already prior to the recent work done in my car (2 chip repairs, 1 windshield replacement). Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of offsite repair and courtesy of the tech. The most recent one however was for a windshield repair. It took longer than expected almost 3 hours (tech had difficulty removing the glass, and eventually ran out of tool/material he had to wait for backup to arrive). Still I believe it wasn't entirely his fault, maybe it really was difficult, or, maybe he didn't have enough knowledge to do the work efficiently. I was satisfied with the product, but disappointed with the work as my car's interior (A pillar was torn) was damaged in the process. And the previous tech either didn't disclose it too me or missed it-- but it's hard to miss it, so it may be the former. And that, irritates me. It took a few months before they got to replace the damaged part (had to be ordered from Mercedes), but I would commend them for not neglecting or denying their fault. It was easy to get them to acknowledge it. For that, they still have my business and I would recommend them still, to anyone who is seeking to have repairs done. The last tech who worked in my car was knowledgeable and efficient (name on receipt is James), he looked like a lead tech there--maybe. read more

Last time I went in for a chip they had lost the appointment I made via their web site, but confirming I had set up an account fit me in and got it repaired. The next time a fracking service truck threw a rock into my windshield it cracked in multiple directions and knowing it was unrepairable I scheduled an appointment to replace the windshield and was told it could take up to four hours. Since we called directly this time they had a record of our appointment, but despite my clear instructions and confirmation they could replace the windshield I arrived to drop off the car only to find they did not have a windshield in stock. Instead of taking another day off work we are driving to Pennsylvania instead because they have a windshield. The repair men themselves seem knowledgeable, but their administrative staff leaves a lot to be desired. I hope this is a franchise and not every branch is this inept. read more

Technician was very professional. The technician and person who called to confirm the appointment communicated very well and the technician called me when the job started and when it was over (I could not be there the entire time). I was able to pay by credit card very quickly and they printed a nice receipt which is necessary since I have to keep it in the car until the car is inspected. Price was less than local competition and service was much faster and at the location where the vehicle was. read more

We scheduled Safelite to come out Monday and repair one of the windows in our car. Scheduling online was very fast and easy, and our technician, Matthew, did a fantastic job! He was professional, courteous, and on-time! He called Monday morning to confirm our appointment, and told me he should be here around 4:30 or 5:00 that afternoon. He showed up right around 4:30, right on time, and had everything done by 5:30. As long as our window holds up, I would recommend Safelite to anyone I know in need of an auto glass repair! read more
