As a history buff, I love going to old buildings & houses with wavy glass. I don't want that for my windshield. This is the 2nd windshield I've had from Safelite with waves in the glass. Isn't glass what they do? Can't they get this right? Other than that, the tech guy was fantastic. He also installed missing panels on the sides of the windshield on my Ford Explorer that Ford said would take a year to replace. They look great! Would not recommend Safelite for auto glass replacement, however. read more

Tried to call them to talk to someone about some issues with my windshield. And cannot even get a representative on the phone. Their system just continually takes you through voice prompts. Can never get to an actual person. Guess I Will not be making an appointment with them to have my windshield replaced since I can't even speak to them. read more

On 2/27/26 I left my car with Safelite in Payson, AZ to replace my cracked windshield. Initially I spoke with Ray to arrange the appointment. He was professional, helpful with my questions and was also down to earth. I was told it may take 3 to 4 hours and happily they called me about 2 hours later saying it was ready. The technician arrived 1 hour late. While replacing my windshield they broke the cowling . They also left the left side retainer off. I went to their location in Payson and their manager refused to replace cowling. He tried to tell me it was broken before they work on it. My F150 is perfect condition in fact it looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. read more

We were traveling through Payson from Santa Fe, on the way to Phoenix so I could have surgery the next day. Coming down from the pass into Payson, a pickup truck kicked up a rock. We were growing a star in our front windshield bigger by the minute. With a Tesla Model 3, the windshield is part of the structure and is very expensive to replace---even with glass coverage. Out of desperation, we stopped in at Safelite in Payson at 3pm in the afternoon, told them our tale, asked the if they could stabilize the chip. They had us fixed so fast that are heads were spinning! Every one was super nice. The work was flawless. We will never forget their kindness! read more

First off we took our 2016 Ford F 150 for chip repairs they broke the windshield trying to fix chips, the next time they ordered the wrong window, the third time they got it fixed, tying the truck up for 3 days. I took my 2019 ranger in to them on 8/30/2021, they replaced the winshield, Their certificate of Winshield being set to Ford standards all showed "errrors". I took it back to them because my Speed control, etc did not work, they told me there was a problem in the steering coulm, according to there equipment and I should take it to the ford dealer. I took it into the Ford dealer on 10l/11/21. They looked at it on 10/13/21 and found out Safelite had not set the camera up right, they corrcted safelites mistakes and charge me $135.00, I went back to Safelite in Payson to give them the bill under their warranty and was told to talk to my insurance company(go pound sand). I broke my window on Saturday and they said they would replace the glass on the back of my pickup truck window at the following Friday. 10 minutes before my appointment they called me up to let me know that they had ordered in the wrong glass. They then told me it would be the following Friday before they could replace it. later that evening I was called and informed that they would replace the glass Monday instead but on Monday I was informed that it would still be that Friday . I already had taken 2 days off of work and now they were expecting me to take another day off. I'm sorry I just had to cancel. I know I live in a remote area and I am pretty understanding but I called a local company and they are going to replace it in a single day not two weeks.. read more
