I setup an appointment for Saturday to get my windshield replaced and gave my insurance info. Next day I got a call the guy said your insurance doesn't cover windshield replacement, so I said how much will it cost me out of pocket? He said $800 to $1000 + tax. I said fine. I arrived on time at 8am dropped my car off they said it would be ready by noon. Came back at noon and they were just getting it started. It's now after 1pm and I'm still waiting. And reviewing my invoice which now says $1390 which includes a $475 charge for "recalibration" which is a bullshit "shakedown" charge. It literally recalibrates itself by driving it. Also they replaced my perfectly good windshield wipers and charged me for new ones without asking. So... no, not happy. I'm kinda pissed. But I'm gonna pay it and write an honest review and hope safelite gets their just reward in the afterlife read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had getting a windshield replaced. Reschedule my work day They come out on a Thursday the windshield's broken, reschedule my work day for Friday they come out the windshield has chips in it, reschedule for Saturday and the windshield finally gets installed 10 hours later it has a crack coming up from the bottom already. Schedule a warranty claim with them Set up the appointment but this one has to be a drop off at the location so reschedule my work day again Drop off at the location to find out that they can't do it and now I have to wait another 10 days as the crack comes up right in front of the steering wheel right in my line of sight. There is clearly no quality control going on no attention to detail as the installer left debris all over my vehicle inside and out. We had a side window replaced on our 2016 jeep yesterday. The technician pried on the window frame where the rubber seal sits bent it in a couple of places, did not get the seal in place on the other side and left it that way. I'm not sure if this is lack of training or lack of professionalism. Either way I think I will be finding a different glass shop. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! they came to the house, changed out my windshield as per insurance. The next time I went through the car wash it was raining on the driver side through leaks in windshield and out of nowhere an infraction showed up in the middle of the windshield without me driving anywhere. - this was all done within a month of service and safelite refuses to honor the warranty. You quoted me a price via recorded phone call with all questions answered to rep but yet you don't honor that. ‍. Avoid this shop. Had my windshield replaced on Jan 16th. This morning, it developed a large crack. Took it in to get it looked at, and as expected, they refused to cover it under their warranty. I don't have anything bad to say about the queen creek staff my complaint is the company. The phone system is absolutely horrible. I have never tried giving a business my money and they make it almost impossible to do so. Spent pluses 20min on hold several times and you are finally talking to a person it isn't even the store your trying to do business with. The call service has no clue. Was told my windshield would take 3 to 4 hours and then the day before my appointment was called and told it would take all day and I needed to leave it. The issue was it needed to be calibrated because its a tesla. Well after talking to tesla that's a lie because all they need to do is drive it. The car calibration is done by the car. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else were you can actually talk to a real person that knows what they are doing. read more

I was referred to Safelite by my insurance company to replace a windshield. Went through the drill of setting up an at home appt. We waited all day for the tech. At 4pm Safelite cancelled the appt with no notice. No phone call or text. I called the 800 number and the auto attendant said there was no one available and hung up on me. I give these folks a zero in customer service. Will find another shop to do business with. Another tech showed up today. I want to get this done. He showed up with one wiper blade?? Why would you replace one wiper blade? FUBAR. Tech did a great job replacing the windshield. Won't use Safelite again. read more

I've had a few windshields replaced by the safelite in Chandler, never an issue. I had my windshield replaced here at this one in Queen Creek about a month ago, as of writing. When I left the lot I heard a faint whistling noise but figured I'd give it a week to see if it went away, after all Safelite has a warranty. Took it in a little later after that whistle didn't go away. They had one of their "master installers" come take a look. He confirmed that there was a whistling noise and said "we can't do anything about it, it must be the Aftermarket, non-OEM glass, I'd must not have the right curve to it. Sorry." That guy had the car for a total of maybe 10 minutes. Fast forward another week or two, I've been trying different things every day. Today, I noticed the cowl at the bottom of the windshield wasn't fully seated in the middle, just barely. Snapped it in and whistle was gone. Small mistakes happen, wasn't too upset about the cowl since that was an easy fix. Not a huge fan of them giving up after trying exactly nothing to fix it. If the install has issues due to the install, they should give at least a minimum amount of effort to troubleshoot. Also if the Aftermarket glass "doesn't have the right curve" shouldn't that be grounds to replace it? That was a bit of a BS excuse, glass itself looks fine. read more

Great communication and service. I managed to book two appointments due to my own confusion on insurance coverage. This location was quick to answer my call and get me in for a windshield replacement earlier than originally anticipated. Replacement and calibration was completed in a couple of hours and the technician Brian made sure not to scratch my paint by wiping down the car with abrasive cloths. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE! Safelite is contracted with USAA so when we needed a windshield replaced in our MB 350 GLE, we had them do the work. Vehicle was returned and told all was good. Within a few weeks the trim pieces began falling off and the rain sensor began to fail. Safelite damaged both and attempted to 'repair' with windshield glue and did not say anything to us. When we returned to show them the documentation from Mercedes, the 'manager' Trevor would not look us in the eye while we attempted to show him the documentation and explain, he stated IF they caused damage that only HE could diagnose and repair (a glass tech repairing sensors on a vehicle?!?) and under no circumstances would Safelite pay for these repairs. He would not provide his last name, phone number, instructed the staff to not provide the same and finally would not provide his managers name (which is Zach Winn, District Manager) either. I had a crack in my windshield, and luckily this location had an opening next day. The technician, Derek, did a great job. At the beginning of my appointment, he showed me that my center portion that holds my rear view mirror was not attached to the glass (I had my windshield repaired at the same place a few months before, so I don't know if my previous appointment with another technician was the cause of that.) Anyways, he was very informative and transparent in communicating those issues with me prior to any work being completed. The appointment only took 1 1/2 hours, and my new windshield looks great. He also managed to fix the previous things that were mentioned. No issues at all so far. Great, seamless appointment and replacement.
