I had some reservations about using an aftermarket windshield for my 2021 Subaru Outback given everything I read online about the eyesight calibration, but Safelite put my mind at ease when they revealed it was the same manufacturer Sunaru uses, just without the laser engravings. The whole deal took no longer than 1.5 hours and they were in constant communication with me regarding status updates. I was pleasantly surprised to see there were zero issues with my driver assistance functions upon picking up my car. These guys are also located right near the smart train pedestrian pathway which allowed me to ride my euc to go pickup and drop off my car. Hopefully this will be the last of my glass issues, but if not, I wouldn't hesitate to use Safelite again. read more

Excellent service center. An amazing large customer waiting room with a large flat screen tv. Comfortable chairs. An area for kids. Large windows overlooking the service bay. A hall leading to the rest room and a separate employee lounge area. A large parking lot with spaces wide enough and deep enough for full sized vehicles/trucks. A great first impression. We were there for a cracked front windshield. There is a camera located where the rear view mirror is located as well as a camera for the hands on full attention semi autonomous driving. There is at the least a need to properly calibrate any replacement of the front windshield and Camera/windshield. No . Don't waste ur time or money. They recalibrated my car wrong and now it's not working correctly. I have Called and emailed and only one person has gotten back to me after I was Promised I would Get call from regional manager. I waited 3 hrs with no communication at the office during the recalibration to get the car back still not functioning. Then offered "oh u want free wipers because we can't fix the window?" They gave me a fake certificate of the recalibration. My brand new car now doesn't work properly and has a code light on all the time. I cant Use cruise control because they have messed up the windshield camera and the forward collision system doesn't work. Which is a huge safety issue. I pay a lot of money for my car and these safety systems that worked perfectly fine until safelite did the windshield. Btw the crack was small but was told it couldn't be repaired and needed a whole new windshield. Which now I'm wishing I just did the whole thing through Honda. I'm beyond pissed and they will rectify the crappy work they did. I brought my car in to have the windshield replaced. Prior to the replacement, my automatic wipers worked normally and there were no warning messages or system errors. After the windshield replacement, the automatic wipers stopped working. I returned to the shop, and they replaced the sponge for the rain sensor. About 20 minutes after leaving, my car displayed a warning message stating there was a problem with the system -- something that never occurred before their repair. When I spoke with the manager, I was told the damaged sensor was a "wear and tear" item and that they were not responsible. This explanation is unacceptable, as there were no signs of failure prior to their work, and the warning message and confirmed damage appeared only after they serviced the sensor area. I then consulted with an Audi service advisor and an Audi service technician, both of whom confirmed that the rain sensor is not a wear-and-tear item and was more than likely damaged by the windshield repair tech when replacing the sponge. As a result of this situation, I am going to be forced to pay out of pocket to repair damage that occurred after their work. This is an expense I should not be responsible for, given the circumstances. I would prefer to resolve this directly and professionally, but at this point the business has declined responsibility. I hope they reconsider and take appropriate action to correct this issue. read more

Let's talk about the Santa Rosa location and clarify that Safelite has been out to do mobile glasswork for me and it's been great. So...this review pertains to taking your vehicle IN to the shop. I took my 2025 vehicle in for a windshield chip and crack because they said they could not come out bc it was so new, calibration, bla bla bla. So I scheduled an appointment and they told me to bring it in at 9am. Which I did. They said they'd call when my car was ready to retrieve. Safelite closes at 5, and I live an hour away, so by 4pm, when I hadn't heard from anyone, I called Safelite. Only instead of getting the branch where my car was located, I got someone random from an 800#, who refused to transfer me to the appropriate branch but assured me that my car was being worked on, (he said his computer reflected this), and that if we went to pick it up between 5 and 5;30, it should be done. We went back to Safelite at 5:15 and sat in waiting room about 15 minutes. The receptionist made small talk with us and never said a word about our car. Finally at 5:30, a technician walked in and told us that the day had been very busy, and that he had not even started on our car! He was kind and apologetic but still emphasized he'd need a few hours to do the necessary work. We ended up leaving and returning the following day. No one ever called us to say there was a delay. This would have saved us a second trip down to the place. The receptionist never mentioned the car hadn't even been worked on as we sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes. read more

Went in for a windshield replacement - was told by my insurance company this is their glass partner and to go here. After the windshield was replaced I could hear an air leak. I also noticed warping of the glass on the bottom right side. I took the car back a week later under a warranty claim and manager found the misalignment. The windshield was replaced and problem seems to be solved. The manager was very communicative for the entire process. I have read a lot of poor reviews on Safelite and can understand why after my initial work was done, but in my case they went above and beyond to correct their mistake and provide good customer service. read more

The automated system will not let me speak to anyone about this, the automated system says no one is available and then disconnects me, there is no local number. Now I'm going in for a service on a windshield that my insurance company had arranged from the time the insurance company book the appointment and I got a message confirmation of the appointment and a confirmation then over the weekend they start calling me up telling me to confirm, but they read off the wrong name the right car The signal was bad in the Santa Cruz mountains, so the lady called back a second time and said if I didn't call back by 2 o'clock, she was going to cancel my appointment. I called from 1 o'clock on and I left messages and they did not take my calls. I went up for my appointment this morning early and I could see that I was on the books when I checked and then when I went up there, they said I'm not on the record for the books for an appointment. I was infuriated and I'm saying what a fucking bullshit game. They were playing to call me after hours on the weekend to confirm when I already confirmed.. Strap in. My wife and I have been dealing with the complete incompetence of this location's front office, and just as bad, the corporate customer service since October. The stooge working the front desk charged our card for an invoice that had nothing to do with us. We don't own a Prius and our appointment was days after the charge. It was clearly a data entry error and everyone at corporate quickly identified the obvious errors. I called corporate over a half dozen times and each time was promised the charge would be reversed when it was sent to whatever department handles refunds. They took careful notes of each call and acted as though they would help. We finally disputed the charge, because it was clear the people at safelite did not have the ability to figure out how to do the job. Wouldn't you know it, months later, they send a letter out claiming we owe them money for the invoice. I still have the invoice, and the invoice for the work we actually had done. We paid for the work that was actually performed. The error ridden invoice has wrong car, wrong location, wrong address, wrong phone number, and wrong date. Avoid this location if you can help it. I know safelite is the national brand, but I am sure there is a local company who will provide the same service. I know that where we will go in the future. Never again. read more

Yesterday I had my third windshield repair with this location. The windshield had a very small ding from a rock, the repair made it worse, cracked out in all directions- that happens. What I especially did not appreciate was the repair guy trying to convince me this was an acceptable outcome for a brand new car. I have insurance to replace a windshield, with an OEM windshield. They made zero effort to resolve the situation, or acknowledge that it was a problem at all. My first experience with windshield replacement here required multiple returns because the side clips continued to fly off on the freeway. Safelite does not answer calls locally, and does not have a way to make a follow up appointment for warranty issues, except for physically going in and re-scheduling work. On the second car fix, they also made the small ding a bigger crack. I used them because my insurance links directly to their appointments, however I have learned that other options are available to me for zero deductible, so thankfully I will never have to go there again. read more

I was away from my phone/off-line and when I tuned back in, I had a message from the shop saying they were blocking my number because I hadn't responded fast enough. my reply to them was that seemed unprofessional, and then got a lot of shade and even more defensiveness. I said I would like a refund, which they said they wouldn't take care of until the end of the weekend... So they can harass me for not responding to them over the weekend, but want to take their time, getting my refund. I didn't wanna deal with them anymore so I went on the national website and it was very difficult to be able to speak with a human about my issue. They're just not set up to provide customer service if you have a need, that's anything other than making an appointment. When the office contacted this shop, they said they were waiting for me to reschedule with them. Told me they couldn't repair dime sized driver door window chip because my 2023 Acura window was the shattering type and not laminated. FALSE. Ordered me a shattering window, which took so long my chip spread to 12". They showed up, determined a laminated window would need to be ordered instead. Let me know it could have been repaired after all, whoops. Installed it, but didn't put my door back together correctly so my side pocket is all wonky. This car has less than 5k miles on it, so I'm furious with their incompetence. read more

Do NOT use this location. They have wasted hours of my time, didn't install my windshield properly, also didn't initially calibrate it properly which required me over an hour of additional driving. The windshield leaks air so when driving it's loud. I had a heat deflection film installed after install and they will not replace that when it's their issue for not installing correctly. I was referred here by my insurance company for a windshield and 1/4 window replacement. The day before my service a woman called me from the shop to confirm my appointment. She then called me back 15 minutes later to get my credit card information for the payment. She told me she would email me the receipt. 15 minutes later the receipt was emailed to me. I see that the charge to my credit card was for some random car I do not own, a random address I do not live at and a safelite location 36 miles away as well as a different amount than my insurance deductible. I tried calling the shop many, many times and no one picked up. Then I contacted the safelite 800 customer service number, and they couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone this location either. Later that day, the same woman from the shop called me to reschedule my appointment. She was talking so fast, wouldn't even let me say one word. Finally, I said, "hey, don't hang up I have a question." She listened to me tell her about the random charge to my credit card and then told me that it wasn't her that did it but she would take care of it later. A few days went by and I didn't get any calls from the shop. But I figured I was going in for my appointment and I could speak to this woman in person. So then a few days later, I went to my appointment spoke with the woman that works in the office, and she promised to me that she would be personally calling me by the end of the week regarding the mischarge on my credit card. But of course the end of the week came and no one called me. I've left messages with customer service, the general manager, and have tried to contact anyone at this shop, they never answer the phone. I had several very large chips in my windshield that needed repair. My AAA insurance directed me to Safelite and our technician Malisa did a wonderful job! I thought the entire windshield would need to be replaced, but she repaired each chip to the point where they're almost invisible. The whole process was painless and easy. Booking was simple, the appointment reminders were a bit excessive, but thorough, and the appointment was quick. The lobby was clean and tidy with plenty of seating and a coffee maker (always a plus). Customer service was great. Very impressed with the whole process! Highly recommend. read more
