Even though it was late on a Friday afternoon, he showed no signs of fatigue at all and was completely focused on the work. Fernando is a super nice, gentle, and honest person. He was very sincere in his work and took the time to thoroughly check and test the appliance end-to-end after installing it. We called Texas electrical connect after a different electrician couldn't figure out why 3 outlets…read morein our kitchen went dead even after 2 hours of "diagnosing" and told us he would need 6-8 hours at $175 per hour to diagnose the problem and cut a bunch of holes in our Sheetrock. We did not want to do that without knowing what the problem was. Texas electrical connect sent Fernando to our rescue! He was super polite and courteous and considerate and very methodical and diligent in his troubleshooting. He figured it out (no holes needed to be cut!) and was super efficient and tidy with his repairs. He took the time to explain to us what had happened and clearly explained the recommended repair and cost. Dan anchored everything to studs and fixed up the wall and it's been great ever since. Fast forward to today, where I've found myself in a boot situation. I ordered a custom shelf on Etsy that came in many pieces with heavy shelves. We figured we'd see if Dan could install and while he was at it, fix an outlet, fix an outdoor light fixture, hang an irritating heavy photo collage, and fix our bedroom door that keeps pulling apart at the hinges. I had Omer out to my house today to perform a standard dryer vent duct cleaning. I noticed that…read moredrying clothes was taking quite some time! After thoroughly cleaning inside he let me know what was going on. It turns out the builder installed a grate on the roof where the damper is, and there was a complete clog and fire hazard! He cleaned everything diligently and was so thorough, showing me photos and letting me know what to look for in the future. I'll be having Lady Bird out every year moving forward for duct cleaning! I was a case-study in how NOT to maintain my dryer duct: It had been almost 20 years since it had been cleaned. We bought a new drier, which shut down due to restricted air flow. I had had a competitor come out the day before Omer's visit; while friendly, all they had was a hand-operated floppy brush more suited to HVAC ducts. They had no luck, and suggested I just move the dryer out to the garage and put in a new duct! Omer arrived with 2 different cameras, and a range of stiff brushes which he worked with his drill, in very tight spaces, and was finally able to dislodge what must have been a 10#, soaking wet mass of lint. He installed an upgraded flexible duct and a new outside duct cover, and cleaned everything up. I've learned my lesson: call Lady Bird out annually, and request Omer!
