The owner of this shop was an angel to me. I was driving on highway and saw and felt a mid-size object hit the bottom of my car. Kept driving as usual until I started to hear loud noises from the bottom whenever the car hit the smallest of bump. I was so sure that something serious was loosen there. It was pretty scary. I was finding a place to stop and check and ran into this shop. I went in and asked if the staff can take a look. Safety Auto Repair Everett Stay away from this place! Absolutely Terrible Experience! This shop is a complete scam, overpriced, unprofessional, dishonest, and shady. Save yourself the stress. They did a terrible job on my car and when I called them out on that they became very rude and argumentative and blamed everything on the fact that they installed a used part (a brand new part was never offered to us) The owner and employees are very sketchy (now I understand why they prefer to get paid in cash.) Every single time that you call or walk in asking for Mohammad (shop owner) he's unavailable. During my last visit and while trying to get my car fixed after the poor job they did I was so frustrated that I openly expressed my dissatisfaction in front of other customers, the front desk employee got upset because of this and refused to take the keys and told me to take my car home and expect a call from Mohammad the shop owner. 1 Star - Extremely Disappointed and Unsafe Repairs I brought my 2015 Dodge Durango to Safety Auto in October 2024 for a rack and pinion replacement. The vehicle had no body damage and no other mechanical issues at the time--just steering that needed work. After they told us the job was done, I picked up the car and immediately noticed grinding brakes and tight, unsafe steering. When I got home, I found new damage to the front and rear of the vehicle, which was absolutely not there when it was towed in. I also discovered my check engine light was on, and my key fobs and automatic start no longer worked. I returned the car and asked about the damage. The owner said he would review surveillance footage but never followed up. I later confirmed through Les Schwab (in writing) that they refused to perform the alignment because the rack and pinion was installed incorrectly by Safety Auto. Despite this, the shop still claimed the alignment had been completed and safe. Since this repair, my vehicle has had steering failure while driving with my children in the car, requiring further repairs and inspections elsewhere, where they also informed us there was missing screws and bolts all over, the rack and pinion was incorrectly installed, and said who ever did the work should have their license removed. The owner said he was actually appalled at the work doen. I have filed police reports, submitted formal complaints to the WA Attorney General and Department of Licensing, and sent a written demand to Safety Auto repair to make things right but they have ignored that attempt. This experience has cost me over $10,000 in damages, repairs, and towing--not to mention the risk to my family's safety. If you're considering this shop, please take your business elsewhere. We took our car to this place a few weeks age with a rough idle issue because we were in the area and they initially told us no charge for a diagnosis but then when we came back they said they had to replace the O2 sensors and charged us almost 400 bucks without calling us first because he said it was an "emergency" And the idle was better for like a day but then it was rough again I would have taken it back them but it's too far away to make it worth the hassle smh read more

PLEASE READ! They damage my transmission and Hood!! WORST SHOP EVER!!! I started taking my car there to get some work done on my car I found them through Yelp as I requested services first two times I went there for suspension work was completely fine until they left everything went horribly wrong the shop takes zero accountability has no idea what they're doing unprofessional and will screw you over! I've had to Major incidents that have cost me hundreds of dollars and now thousands first mistake they made was leaving a tool in my hood preventing it from latching. Me and my daughter we're on our way home after leaving safety Auto when are Hood flew up hitting the windshield it was the most scariest thing for me and my daughter and I had to pay for a tow truck my hood was extremely warped and bent I had to pay for it to get fixed. When I called them to address the issue with them they immediately denied it without even hearing what had happened and took zero accountability I even drove to them and show them the tool that he removed out of mine engine bay and placing it in the shop as it was his. After we came to an agreement they were going to offer me free service that never got completed second incident that happened resulted in me having to replace my whole entire transmission!! After changing my transmission fluid they overfilled it by 2 quarts resulting in the fluid leaking through a seal that can only be fixed by pulling out the transmission. I've had to pay for all their mistakes with no reimbursement or no accountability or responsibility of their mistakes at all whatsoever I contact them and communicate to them and have given them any chances with no resolution they refuse to pay at this point whatever you do do not take your car to safety Auto please Added Response: Their response is simply unbelievable they know that they are at fault and of course they're going to try to put the blame on the customer this just shows how unprofessional and unwilling they are too address the issue accordingly in the statements below by this owner is half true yes they did come out to take a look just to confirm there was a leak. Obviously there is a leak and that's the issue and reason I have to replace my transmission because your shop overfilled it by 2 quarts it is simple to understand. It's ironic that they say they helped me when I have to spend over $1,000 to get my transmission replaced over $300 to get my hood replaced and not once have been reimbursed just a bunch of Lies. Again in what way is this right or professional? Unbelievable that they even think their efforts have been remotely good enough when I have received zero compensation for the damages and mistakes that they made leaving a towel in my hood resulting in it flying up on their freeway unacceptable now overfilling my transmission resulting in a major league causing me to replace it now unacceptable! After confirmed by a different shop I have no history with that they overfilled it causing the leak as they drained out two extra Court from my transmission them looking at me and just believe just makes me so frustrated and I feel so taken advantage of having to Fork up all this money to fix my car after they neglected basic mechanical skills resulting in so much money and damages that I had to pay. If the transmission is overfilled by 2 quarts resulting in the issue I am currently experiencing then deterring the blame and the situation is simply unacceptable! Ever one please beware!!!! I've given this place several chances and have not received as promised any coffee station for them damaging my hood and putting me and my child's life in danger and doing what's right for transmission. Again overfilling a transmission resulting in a leak and the steel because the oil has to escape somehow with all the pressure it's simply clear who's at fault. I never had a leak in my transmission of any sort this week involves taking out the transmission and repairing is more than just swapping out the Transmissions they know what they have done and this shows the complete denial and accountability on their part don't ever go to the shop their dishonesty and lies are simply despicable read more

They didn't seem like they had any idea what they were doing, because they were pretty much wrong about everything they said was wrong with our car They had pretty bad communication. After going to a Northwest Mini Dealer, two local mechanic shops, and even Aamco, these guys did the most work (full drain, flush, pressurized test) for a better rate than anyone else. They are honest, open about the issues they are facing, and just so friendly. No up selling, no faking, no underhand tactics. Farshad got back to me quickly with an open and honest quote, it was very competitive and much lower than others I had received. I asked some more specifics about when they could do it, and they were great at fitting me in over the weekend and providing me with a loaner so I could get to work. I appreciated the communication and professionalism of the staff, they performed the job the same day and I was good to go! I particularly liked the fact they showed me the old parts they removed without me asking, as well as the shipping boxes and parts boxes they used. This just shows a high level of integrity and I appreciated that. An older car, 194,000 miles is going have "issues" l call them small matters because it's a GREAT car. 2001 Lexus LS 430. Routine maintenance, oil change, timing belt replacement, spark plugs replaced. And most recently they replaced an oxygen sensor. I bought items, sensor, spark plugs, oil filter and oil. They used all my parts successfully and without hassle etc. They are MY mechanics. If you appreciate good work at reasonable price contact Mohammad at this location. They know their business. Oh and I've made appointment: car running great .... Some "person" hit my right rear, passenger side bumper. Broke the outer tail light, $100 on eBay (don't even consider dealer!) which I replaced; and the parking sensor, again I bought on eBay $10 bucks !!! Instead of just telling me straight up he didn't want to do the job, he strung me along for over 2 months and kept making excuses as to why he couldn't get the parts and how difficult it was to find what I needed. I found the parts in less than an hour. My fault for letting him string me along and while he was, I kept looking for other shops who could get the job done. I've never written a Yelp review before, and I am writing one for Lam because of the amazing professionalism and friendliness he displays. I'm almost hesitant to write this because I kind of want to keep him as my own little secret, but I also really want you to support this Lynnwood family shop. A friend told me about Lam after his car broke down on the side of the road a while back. Lam actually happened to be driving home from work that evening, pulled over to help my friend, and re-opened the shop just so he could bring my friend's minivan in for a look. Earlier this year, my own old Nissan started making horrible screeching noises. Lam was able to pinpoint the problem fairly quickly and explained it in simple terms for this auto amateur. But instead of charging me an arm and a leg, he recognized it was part of an assembly that had recently been replaced and told me to go to the other shop to get it fixed under warranty. He also pointed out a few other worn out items (head gasket cover, serpentine belt) that other places have recommended I switch out, but then proceeded to give me a quote that was way below anything I've seen before. Needless to say, I went with him. And yes, I was very satisfied with Lam's work. My car runs so much smoother than it has in years. I highly recommend him. read more
