Conner Bonneau was the teacher I had for the CPR and first aid class in Dublin by the American heart association. The class was great. The teacher was knowledgeable, level headed and great. He deserves a raise. he was amazing. he made the class reasonable, enjoyable and fun. He was very respectful and understanding. I learned a lot from him and the class he gave. This was my first time taking a CPR class so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I thought it was really great. I researched many classes and this one was the shortest length and the cheapest, but that did not mean it was poor education. The instructor, Thomas, was funny and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. He did not just recite facts and procedures from a book. I learned a lot and feel fully equipped to handle an emergency situation. The perks are that you get your certificate right away and they provide coffee, snacks, and a phone charging station (although I tried to charge my phone and it didn't work, so I would ask about that). I took a CPR renewal class with Conner as my instructor. He made the material easy to follow and was funny overall. However, instead of simply gesturing to the mannequin with his hands, he constantly kicked the mannequin instead. At one point, he was actually stepping on the mannequin's chest while he was instructing us. I personally find that very unprofessional and distracting, even if it isn't a real human being. read more

this is review is for Aug. 16th for CPR and first aid courses. Overall, the experience is great. Adam, the instructor was very laid back and was able to focus on the main points of CPR and First Aid and he was able to keep the class active with practicing CPR, the AED, and bandaging. I really like that it was more hands on experience majority of the time rather than listening to the AHA film and just sitting and listening. read more

Had AJ as an instructor during a Saturday class and it was great! The class is obviously a few hours long, but AJ made it fun and bearable. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. This is my 3rd BLS class with Safety Training Seminars (STS). Always goes well, and actually learn something new each time. They seem to be able to get across the most important and relevant instruction in 3 hours, along with ample time for the hands-on! All 3 instructors seemed very knowledgeable. read more

Just finished the CPR/first aid class today with Adam, and my 18 and 15 yr old daughters took it too. I am an internal medicine physician and have to take the BLS class, but wanted to take this one with my daughters to make sure they got taught correctly. No worries. Adam was very knowledgeable and focused. Made sure we remembered the most important things - Scene safety! Compressions! AED can kill! and for first aid - 911! He obviously has had a lot of experience in the field as an EMT, as a patient (has anaphylaxis with peanuts), and as an instructor. I learned some new info even as a physician because in BLS we don't learn about what to do in real life conditions when we don't have instruments and meds handy, or in electrocution situations, etc. Really good course, I highly recommend this location. read more
