I had a great time yesterday at my CPR class. My instructor was a former rescue diver with the Royal Australian Navy and an all-around cool guy. It was a little hard to follow some things in the class, but I think I learned a lot. I will be back in two years for my recertification. I am especially grateful for these guys giving me a discount after Fast Response, where I had previously planned to take the class, went out of business almost overnight. read more

The CPR class was very informative. You could tell the instructor enjoyed what he teaches. He tried his best to make the class fun with songs and jokes. I just wished it was more interactive, sure we got to practice with mannequins but it wasn't enough. Maybe if we got to role play group scenarios. read more

I would 100% recommend this company to my friends and family for safety training. I took the CPR/AED and first aid training here. TJ was my instructor and it made the hours go by really quickly! He made the material super easy to understand and had a good grasp of the materials so he was able to answer all the questions I had. Did my CPR recertification here last month, and was very impressed. Everyone was professional, we had lots of practice time, and there's snacks and coffee! Awesome. I always dread the CPR classes because of their length and repetition, but this one actually went by really fast, and I felt our time was nicely divided between lecture and practice. I've been CPR certified for 10 years, and I actually did feel more prepared after this class! Bonus points because you get your CPR card on the spot, not like other places that mail it to you later. read more

Awesome class! I took the CPR, First Aid, and AED class for 5 hours and it was very educational and time went by fast. Since it was today, Sunday at 9am, I found free parking on yellow right out side of the place. The instructor was JP and he was very nice, funny, professional, and knowledgeable. We did a lot of hands on practice. I learned CPR, heimlich, and AED on adults, children, and infants. I took this class just because. It's always good to know how to respond to an emergency situation especially if you are around small children, have family members with certain conditions or if you just want to be a good Samaritan. It's sad when you find yourself lost not knowing what to do in an emergency situation so get certified everyone! Tangent: In my class, there were two (sort of) annoying guys, unfortunately. One was a soon to be father taking the class with his pregnant wife. He kept asking the same question over and over and even though the whole class answered his question as well as JP, he kept getting irritated (maybe because everyone else got it except for him). It took him a while to get it when we were learning about AED with children/infants. It's one thing to not understand and get clarification but if everyone else is trying to help and he gets irritated then there's something wrong with him, unappreciative. The other guy was a little older and kept telling JP to speak slower...Um....he was speaking just fine. We all understood him and were able to follow him. The elderly guy just wanted a slower pace even though everyone was ready to move on to the next thing. He also kept asking the same question over and over. I think he should of taken a one-on-one since everyone else was catching on fast and ready for the next thing. We took some breaks in between and a small lunch break for those staying for 5 hrs. It's good to know about first aid scenarios and how to respond/help so I recommend you take all three topics offered. I highly recommend this place and getting JP would be a big plus. You will get your moneys worth and will leave feeling like you can rescue anyone. Make sure you practice though and brush up on what you learned occasionally so that it stays fresh in your head. I hope I never have to use the skills I learned but if I do, I am ready :) read more

TJ is awesome. I was expecting to be bored out of my mind at this class but ended up enjoying it. I loved the small classroom environment and hands on practice. What really stood out to me, however, was the bits of practical advice TJ would give us about what it feels like to be on scene and what parts of the assessment are super critical to do flawlessly. I loved the free refreshments and bathroom access as well. I also appreciated how easy this class was to sign up for, and that you don't have to put money down until the day you actually attend! read more

Very useful and informative for the general public. The instructor was nice, and conscious about making the class as efficient and somewhat as engaging as possible. I wish there was a little more practice time for cpr excersize in class, but they do go through it enough and clearly where you can properly retain the knowledge and practice it afterwards. read more

I took the class with Sarah who is a paramedic. She's amazing! Her sense of humor kept the class interesting the entire time. We got a good amount of practice time, and the videos were not terrible to watch. The test in the end was easy, and we got out of class on time. Worth the 80 bucks! read more

J.P. was a knowledgeable instructor and could answer all of our questions without hesitation. My 3-hour BLS course flew by and I learned a lot! Having been previously CPR-certified, I felt much more comfortable after this class :) The location is a little hard to find though, so give yourself an extra 2-3 minutes and don't rely on Apple maps to give you an accurate location (it's on the same side as Asha, not by Ahn Hong). Have to re-new my BLS/ACLS every year for work and this is the best way to do it. Its 3 hours but its no muss no fuss. The instructor is informative and gets right to the point. This place was great. Interesting teacher who seemed to have a lot of good experience and knowledge. I felt competent after leaving. Plus you get a free disposable CPR mask when you leave. I went for infant CPR, and you have to take the whole class (adult, child and infant) even if you only want one of them. It costs $70. You can also combine it with first aid. If I remember correctly, the class took about 2.5 hours without the first aid. read more

I highly recommend Safety Training Seminars for BLS and ACLS renewals or first time certification. They are very nice people. They make what can sometimes be a stressful experience, not so stressful!
