Ok. I really didn't want to post this review. I like the butcher shop area. That said, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I know these guys know me because we always exchange pleasantries. But tonight not so well. I think I was probably almost kicked out. I came in at 8 pm after a rough day of work. I admit, I might have looked a little desheveled. Long hair, dirty work clothes. I just needed some cheese and corn tortillas. Besides the point I wanted to use the facilities and found out they changed the bathroom code. I asked 5 different workers and the security guard. NO ONE would give me the bathroom code. I know these people. I always say hello when I run into them in the store. But to treat me like that was truly an eye opening experience. My family spends about $250 a week in this store. Not anymore. Even the assistant manager said he didn't know the code to the bathroom. Very disappointed with the customer service. I will take my business elsewhere. Go F yourself, Safeway employee's, management and security. read more

People here are just miserable workers. I went to the deli to find food and two sushi rollers didn't even acknowledge my presence. After patiently waited for two minutes, I asked the dumb girl and she said, "go ask somebody else" what a fcken puta! If I had the sushi in my hands I would sure smear it all over her damn face! That girl needs God in her life. I'm not sure how someone can be such a puta for no reason. read more

Okay so I know this is not a huge city but holy crap literally. Always stop here for Starbucks and whatever. The Starbucks is always packed. Note they are building another freestanding in parking lot. The restroom was so packed it took 20 minutes. 3 stalls and each person took at least 5 minutes. Store needs updating bathrooms need to increase size. Too bad because Safeway Vons is one of my favorite chain stores read more

If I can give this place a negative star I would and let me tell you why . I love coming to this grocery store because it is very clean. I love how they are always cleaning and wiping down door handles and staying on top of it. But they have a major problem the staff here is by far the rudest most racist people I have ever met . I've lived here my whole life was born and raised here . My parents have been coming to this store for 30 years and the problem has been going on for a long time . No matter what we say no matter how much we complain nothing ever changes . I hope something gets done before they lose lots of customers . read more

Thank you for everything you guys are doing to try to keep the community safe. The store was being wiped down everywhere I looked by employees, including the carts and any railing or display. There are lines on the floor demarcating 6 feet and reminders overhead to keep our distance. Everyone was friendly and nice despite the stressful situation- I really appreciate Safeway's employee's dedication to the health of the community. read more

Poor service, bad management, it really sucks!!!!!!!!!! They wanted me to make a 60 Mile round trip for my $3 purchase. You can stick it where the sun don't shine. I called in a cake@ Safeway because wanted fast & .I wanted Fresh Baked.Asked for Quarter size cake.. my mistake!! Seriously Small.One layer cake. (For a 4 yr.old..) Grandson gonna be 10...lol . after shopping with your company for 40 years, the last 4 visits no customer service. store is still disorganized, if you ask for help with your groceries no one ever comes. today i waited 15 minutes. people you might as well shop at "cattle call" walmart. they never have help, but you know that going in. what has happened to this store. wake up phoenix attention to your customers. read more
