On another visit, the rep filled a prescription while I waited because my online pharmacy had failed to send my daily medication leaving me without meds for five days. Not only did she bump my order to the front of the line, she updated my account so that my meds now come in bottles that I can actually open with my arthritic hands. Each prescription refill has become more expensive than the last. This includes the waiting time as…read moreI always call 2 weeks in advance so they have time to make it. Doing that process I still had to call and check on it as it had been 2 weeks and when I called to check their response was "oh, it will be done today". That was in Nov 2024 and I received a quantity of 45 for $165. This time I called in my refill even earlier as I had to go out of town and didn't have enough to last the entire trip. They were kind enough to call the next day stating that they had to reach out to my doctor to get an updated prescription and asked if I wanted them to call back when that was done or to call when it was ready for pickup. I advised to call when it was ready for pickup and I also shared that I would have to supply them with a new credit card as mine had been compromised. Two weeks goes by and I call asking if my prescription is ready as I was leaving for my trip super early the next morning. Their response is that because I didn't have a valid credit card on file the prescription hadn't been made. I share once again that I would update the credit card like I mentioned to the last person I spoke with, but that I absolutely needed my prescription that day as I was leaving early the next morning. Thankfully they made it quickly and I was able to run to pick it up prior to them closing and in time for my trip. This time it cost me $168 for a quantity of 30. The prescription hasn't changed in the year that I have been on this particular item, but the pricing and quantity certainly has. I don't mind price increases from time to time, but this pharmacy never gives notice that the item has increased significantly for lesser quantities. This is the only compounding pharmacy in the general area, but I am happy to drive to Portland or across town in order to have a better experience and consistent pricing.
