We stopped in on our last trip through Sedona, and what stood out immediately was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely nice. Not forced, not rehearsed. Just friendly in a way that makes a quick stop feel a little more relaxed. A couple of brief conversations, a few smiles, people actually acknowledging you. It's a small thing, but it sticks with you. The store itself is clean and well organized. Nothing confusing about the layout. You can get in, find what you need, and get out without wandering around wondering where anything is. Selection is solid across the board. Produce looked fresh, shelves were stocked, and there's enough variety that you're not settling for second choice items. Prices are about what you'd expect for the area. Maybe a touch higher in spots, but nothing surprising given the location. It's convenient, and sometimes that's part of the equation. Checkout was smooth, no long delays, no frustration. Just a straightforward experience from start to finish. It's not a destination grocery store, and it doesn't need to be. It's dependable, easy to navigate, and backed by people who actually seem to care a little. That alone earns it four stars.

Their dairy also was a bit slim. Apparently thousands of folks are up for spring break and they must have beat us to the store. The store is clean and well maintained. As one observation I must state that the parking area could use more lighting as it's very dark at night. We will be back again as Whole Foods generally means quality products and fair pricing. When we confronted an elderly…read morewoman about it she threw a temper tantrum and insisted it was being fully cooked and refused to get a manager, but it's absolutely not. There was some blood this time! I took all the chicken off down to the bone to see just how bad it was. I called the corporate office and filed a complaint because it had to be thrown away and I'm not a fan of wasting food or money. Now we'll have to stop somewhere else for food since it's not safe to eat.

We stopped in while visiting Sedona, and after a few not-so-warm encounters elsewhere in town, this place was a breath of fresh air. The staff were genuinely kind and even tossed out a few food tips while we browsed ... always a plus in my book! The store itself felt like Trader Joe's cooler, quieter cousin ... great selection, organic options, clean layout, and (bonus!) no crowd battles in the aisles. They had everything we needed without overwhelming us. Overall, it was seamless, pleasant, and one of the better stops we've made while grocery shopping on the road. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

We were able to find the teas that we needed (specifically a tea to help with constipation and for sleep) and breakfast for both meat-eaters and non meat eaters.
