What a beautiful spot. They offer a great selection of real chocolates, including some infused with CBD, which is a unique touch. The coffee was excellent--rich and well prepared--and the whole place has a relaxed Sedona vibe. The service was kind, welcoming, and laid-back, making it a really pleasant stop. A small coffee shop offering a decent selection of coffees, shakes and teas. Also noticed offerings of hand made chocolates with a bit of wellness sprinkled into some items. I only got to try the dandiccino drink which is a cappuccino with dandy brew. It was really good. The cafe is rather tight but the barista that served us was super friendly and was patient. read more

On our way to the airport, we stopped by this cozy coffee shop because I was craving a good iced coffee. I ordered the Dandy Cold Brew--smooth, refreshing, and definitely crafted with quality in mind. It's on the pricier side, but you can taste why. The place itself has that boutique atmosphere with herbal elixirs, vegan treats, and even apothecary vibes. A unique spot worth checking out if you're into more than just your average coffee run. read more

The chocolates were delicious. I had the dark chocolate peanut butter heart and my daughter loved the raspberry, lemon chocolate. The coffee was also delicious. It was a lovely place to relax and look out the window during a rainy day. read more

I've been going to Synergy for a few years now and having not been on Yelp before, hadn't shared any of my prior experiences. I feel that saying I've been consistently attending for years is validation enough of how fantastic this place is. A few food items are available but the focus is conscious healthy drinks and chocolates everything house made with cacao and various other ingredients. This time around I got some really delicious truffles and chocolates to take home. The space is unique and beautiful, a burgundy red all over and the service is always kind and calm. read more

We stopped in and did not realize there was a special event happening. I decided to order coffee because the concept of healthy, whole ingredients iced latte sounded good. I did not realize that this place caters directly to locals who find relevance by hanging out and flirting with the staff. Everyone who came in after me distracted the staff, and I got my order last though I ordered before anyone else after me. I ordered an iced mocha that was pretty much warm water that tasted like coffee nibs, and not worth the price and tip at $14 and some change. I was kind of grossed out that their hand sink was not in the service area and they were storing ice in an open beer cooler under the counter with the scoop in the ice that appeared to be a cup? The only thing they have going on is being open later than other similar businesses. Gas station coffee would have been better and met my expectations as it was impossible to get anyone's attention to question my drink, because I was invisible after being handed my cup. It was weirdly humid and warm inside and smelled like body odor, though it was windy and cooler outside and they had the door open. I could forgive them for being busy with an event and not meeting my expectations, but that was not the case. It was not that busy, at least it would not have been had I been at a real coffee house with baristas that knew their job. It really seemed like the employees may have been inebriated and lost in the cougars flirting with them or friends helping out? I don't know, but I cannot recommend a place that seems dirty and upcharges for warm chocolate water and left me waiting forever in their live performance piece, "My unwashed armpit is a room." read more

This was a cool place with a cool vibe. I'm a child of the 70s & I felt as though I had been transported back to my favorite time of my life. It has that hippie vibe, everything they serve is organic & is great! The young man that served me was so friendly & helpful. I will definitely go back next time we're in town. read more

UPDATE: We both drank about 1/3 of our Chai Lattes and threw them out. They were just not good at all! Well that was weird. Chai tea was.... OK. Vibe was.... Weird. People were.... Very very nice. I came to this elixir shop with high hopes, looking for a nourishing, quality alternative to Sedona's many wonderful spots like Chocolate Tree. Instead, I was greeted by a boy behind the counter so high out of his mind he could barely focus on making a drink. I asked for a cacao with alternative milk. What I got was a sugar bomb. No mention of sugar. No warning. Nothing. When I pointed this out, he apologized and agreed to remake it. While re-making it, he got distracted when a family of four came into the store, and instead of finishing the drink he messed up the first time, he prioritized making the father's drink first. The entire experience was infused with subtle misogyny, unprofessionalism, and chaotic energy that made me question whether the owner (apparently a woman) has any control over her staff or quality standards. To top it off, the hot cacao itself was subpar--watery, bland, and not remotely on par with Sedona's other elixir and cacao options. If you value your time, your health, or your peace of mind, skip this place. Sedona has plenty of high-vibe, quality spots for cacao and elixirs--this is not one of them. read more

I would give the staff and funky ambiance 5 stars but the coffee wasn't what I was expecting. If you go here please keep in mind that it is very alternative and if you're expecting a regular latte this may not be for you. I had one of their specialty drinks and it wasn't my fave. read more

If you have a very small cafe, try to free up some space for buying customers to sit. We went in and there's a group w/o drinks, with dog and musical instruments and they were just kinda hanging around. It gave us a weird vibes. Coffee and hot chocolate read more

I stopped by this coffee shop on a Friday night and loved my experience here. The place has plenty of teas and coffees to choose from all at a $$$ mark. A little bit on the pricier side for a drink between $9-10 including tip. I ordered one of their hot chocolate drinks and was amazed by their flavors. I've never tried anything like it so I was a happy customer. The barista was very friendly and informative and even helped adjust the sweetness level of my drink. Minus 1 star because of the following: A few items were out of stock and the place did look like it need a good deep cleaning/some air fresheners and dusting but other than that the place was pleasant and had such a chill vibe! read more

Stopped by real quick for a coffee alternative. Couldn't remember what I ordered, but I remember it being expensive and tasty. I imagine you're paying for quality and atmosphere, but the atmosphere for me was awkward. There was the barista and an older male customer talking about some pretty private sounding stuff, but the cafe is so small you cannot not listen. After getting my $10 drink, I promptly left. Came here on a Thursday morning and Angel was so sweet to us! She answered all my questions and gave me info on the menu options. The just egg breakfast sandwich (which my friends got) was surprisingly good for them. I got the tempeh sandwich which was so good, especially the vegan cheese. Finally got to try this place out. :) It's super cute and cozy, and people here are super friendly. There were some different chocolate truffles, chocolate muffin, and some sandwiches, I wanted try one of em but I was full, so I ended up getting a 16oz hot chocolate. This hot chocolate! They said they make it with 80% cacao chocolate bars and coconut milk, I could indeed taste of dark and thick actual chocolate. It was super satisfying since I love dark chocolate and thick hot chocolate, but I kinda missed cow milk... I felt like it would taste good with cow milk as well! Visited Synergy while driving back to Sedona. The interior has a victorian/homeopathic vibe- kind of like stepping back in time. All of their products are vegan and locally made. I ordered the Dandicinno and it was a beautiful blend of sweet coconut and espresso. My mom ordered a chocolate chia latte and enjoyed the flavor. Service by Angel was great! Hmm, this is a difficult review to write. The place is very interesting and unique. It's the furthest thing you will find from a generic coffee shop. The have quite a few drinks that I was just totally unfamiliar with as well as a large assortment of vegan chocolates. On top of that herbal teas and CBD products. My friend ordered a drink and got some chocolates, and I tried them all. The chocolates were pretty good, but not quite for my pallet. I wasn't a fan of the drink at all. I found all the prices a little high for what I like to spend, but on par with any similar boutique places I've been to. So for me... this place was okay. Established in 2018.

The location of Synergy was once the major production facility for Lulu's Chocolate, the forerunner of coconut sugar-sweetened raw chocolate. After Lulu's moved production to California, we turned the kitchen into a shared production facility, as our front of the house, plush lounge features all in-house creations. We serve a full line of organic, vegan coffee and herbal elixirs, light fare, raw chocolate, and new additions from the kitchen every day.

Meet the Business Owner: Sierra S.

Synergy was founded by Sierra Shafer, a community organizer, musician, and former employee of Lulu's Chocolate, who saw the potential of the space to continue as a collaborative kitchen for Sedona community. Sierra works tirelessly to bring community together through a variety events, and to serve Sedona visitors with Synergy's plush atmosphere & healthy options.

I was worried about a long line, but I came at around 0900 on a Sunday and waited in a very short, fast-moving line. A large part of that is pretty exceptional service, who didn't point to the big sign that answered one of the questions I asked. The inside is quite small, and there's limited seating indoors and outdoors. I really can't say enough good things about Sedonuts, and look forward to being back on my next trip.

They also make amazing cakes to order and carry great trail snacks like maple sweetened cookies and picnic favorites like their delicious vegan GF quiche (which even has my mum's stamp of approval and she is the quiche queen), Service is personal and friendly, there are seats there both indooor and out, but it's a very popular take out spot. Get there in the morning for the bagels, they have cakes and delicacies available all day long. This is a great 'small business' to support, we are lucky to have it in West Sedona. Aside from the tea, they also sold all kinds of goodies--from traditional dresses to books to little trinkets--which I later found out that 70% of the products they sold here were handmade by their rural women & men. Another couple of things I found out later on while I indulged myself in more chai than I probably should have and scrolled through their website: (1) half of their profit goes to support women and children in Pakistan, and (2) this place is a "social-enterprise dedicated to peace-building and socio-economic empowerment of women and children in Pakistan." With that, truly, my heart and my belly could not be fuller and I'm so glad I made a point to visit this place at Tlaquepaque! There were some tables and chairs, as well as area rugs where groups sat crisscross applesauce, outside the store on the terrace since they're located on the second floor. They also had a few of these super charming balconies you can hang out and sip your drink at. If you're not in a rush, I think staying and having your tea there completes the whole experience. What we tried: Butter Chai - 5/5 Traditional Cardamom -4/5 Iced Black - 4/5 From the three drinks we got, my ultimate favorite was the Butter Chai. Apparently, they don't consider this as their best seller, but I have seen so many people rave about this particular drink and I couldn't be happier that I went for it. It was the perfect symphony of sweet and creamy with the spices not being too overwhelming. I didn't know that it came with some toppings of crushed pistachios too, but they make sure to ask if you're okay with that when you order. Overall, this one's quite a special place. If you get a chance to stroll around the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village, I highly recommend you stop by here!

It kinda felt like a little tasting adventure, and of course we ended up buying a few jars to take home. The back of the store has a mead tasting menu from Superstition Meadery. We tried the Half Flight, Lagrimas De Oro, Blueberry Hex, and Blackberry Hex. Honestly, Lagrimas De Oro stole the show for us, so we grabbed a bottle to take home. There's also a small balcony in the back where you can sip your mead and enjoy the view of the red rocks. Such a chill spot, honey, mead, and an amazing view. Perfect little stop in Uptown!

(Please look at my photo of the sad leftovers). We had written down all of the suggestions of things to do in Sedona and Elote Cafe was at the top of our list of things to do. Apparently getting a reservation at this place is super difficult to get, so we decided to order takeout. Elote dip, pork cheeks, green tamale, carne asada, pork belly tacos and corn cake for dessert. The elote dip was enjoyable especially when eaten with chips, the green tamale was better off used as a trampoline at a kids party (it was spongy, flavorless and possibly good to scrub your dishes), the carne asada was dead like the cow it came from and flavorless, the pork belly tacos were barely edible because of the overwhelming sour taste of lemon, and last but least was the corn cake, it was dry and about as exciting as a retirement home party. We wasted our money thinking that a place with a waiting list to get on would be an experience just like everything else we experienced in Sedona but instead Elote Cafe is a bad tourist trap that has as much charm and taste as Del Taco. Save your money and look elsewhere for some great Mexican inspired food even if it means you need to travel to Tucson.

At $6.95/bag, they are fairly priced. I like the variety of flavors but do wish there was more room to move inside. It's very cramped in here, but you just grab what you want, pay and leave. I also wish the popcorn was made fresh, but I know it's an entire production to do that with when you offer different flavors. They also sell other items like ice cream, drinks, and different flavors of salt water taffy. I'm a fan of taffy, but I skipped it this time around. The staff was friendly and the freebie was a pleasant surprise. If you're walking around Uptown Sedona and want a lighter snack, pop into Sedona's Popcorn Emporium and support this local small business. I'll have to make it a regular stop each time I'm in the area!
