But when you continuously get outdated boxed food or sour grape grapes or fruit that is rotten the money starts to add up that you spend here. I love this grocery store because the people are all very kind to you and you get used to seeing them. But they need someone to do quality control when they bring in the fruit and vegetables. One out of three times the fruit is rotten or un edible. Please people check dates on boxes and check the fruit before you buy it.

I'm very disappointed with the customer service and online ordering at this Smart & Final location…read more I placed an order through the app for pickup around 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23rd, but received a text that my order was picked up at 1:00 p.m. -- which was not the case. I tried calling the store, but no one answered, so I decided to go there in person. When I spoke to the Assistant Manager and Manager, they couldn't provide a clear explanation. One said all staff have access to online orders, and maybe someone mistakenly marked it as picked up, while another suggested my items were given away to someone else. This felt very unprofessional! No one apologized or seemed concerned about my $350 order. One Manager offered to re-shop my items, which took over an hour, and then he never followed up. I ended up sitting in my car with my young child, wasting time. They didn't even offer a refund. I eventually received my items, but the whole experience was frustrating and made me suspect internal issues. I was also told that their phone lines don't work when it is a hot day. Who knows about that being the case! A few days later, I noticed the pickup parking spots were gone. Clearly, something happened, but they won't admit it. I don't think I'll be shopping here again.
