We've tried a plethora of items from Sage at this point. The Valentines cake and macarons were delicious and well made! They made cake pops for a birthday along with a beautiful semi-custom cake. The communication between Faith (custom cakes department) and I went smoothly and she covered everything we were looking for! Both the cake pops and the cake were moist and tasted great. We also had a cake that they created for a Super Bowl party - also tasty! My least favorite item so far from Sage are the actual cupcakes, just due to them being smaller and having more "cooked edges". I would recommend sage cakery, especially if you have dietary restrictions you want or need to accommodate! We ordered gluten free cupcakes for our guests who would need them. My one regret is not cc'ing my coordinator on my correspondence with them as the added cupcakes to our order were not delivered on the day of our wedding with our cake. We decided to go with Sage Cakery because they made the cake for my husband's cousin's wedding, and he said the flavors were incredible and unique (sadly, I didn't get to try this cake). We started with our consult/tasting - we met with Ally, and she was so sweet and helpful! We tried cupcakes of some of the most popular flavors, and they were very good. We talked over design, and Ally was very accommodating, and had a great vision of what we were looking for, because we definitely needed some help! Our cake ended up looking exactly how we wanted it to. For our flavors, we did three tiers - early grey on the bottom tier, blackberry sage in the middle, and orange ginger for the top. We thought the flavors would complement each other nicely and they did! The flavors were definite crowd pleasers, but still unique, which is exactly what we were looking for.
